Cool idea. Reminds me of a game I played once called Ni No Kuni: Wrath Of The White Witch (I think). You're a little kid who finds himself in a magical world, and he's now a wizard. You can recruit or tame monsters, and then level them up like in Pokemon. There are branch evolutions, but I think only for the last evolution. Like the monster has a first form, a second form, and two possible third forms, for example.

Thank you! I've basically been toying with the software off and on since I got it. I came up with a story, some characters, and plugged in some scripts. Really fun, I like the whole game creation experience. I recently decided to try and make it an original game and try to replace most of the content that come with the software, or is available online. I am working with an artist for busts, and just trying to replace every aspect of it piece by piece with original material. The most difficult thing is finding people to work with for materials, as anyone can be swamped with work at any given time, you know? But I am really trying to make a decent old school style rpg that people might enjoy. Wish me luck!
