      Even if we miss them I think in some ways, we should be happy for the people who left. That probably means  they found something even better than RPG Maker Central.
      When I was the most active here, I had absolutely nothing going on in my life. Now I have a job and a girlfriend. And it's in part thanks to the people here, helping people with scripts convinced me to pursue a career in programming.

      You really helped me go through a bad time and found myself so even if I'm not very active, I still hope you will all be very creative and make plenty of games. :)

      I just saw it even there some clouds get in the way but I still manage to see it, it's dark red from here(park near my home).

      I was sick the first part of December and for the end of December, all related to the feasting days and the change in the weather. I'm still recovering a bit but on the mend, for the most part.

      Being sick is no fun, no matter what ails you...it sucks monkey farts.

      It is my actual name, but I'm actually from Bangladesh (currently living in Canada). Southeast Asian names tend to be very similar I guess, especially Muslim names :D

    there's some depressive issues going on here so I won't be active here as I am here normally, since I need some time and space for myself in real life. I'll also reply to PMs and some stuff (request/commission related) as soon as I can. Please pray for betterment in my life so I can overcome these problems...

    I wish I could help you out with this, but sadly, currently I'm really busy with some stuff. Maybe you can try searching around for any golem sprite that matches? I believe there must be at least one of them done already. If not, I hope someone can fulfill your request

      and I'm feeling lucky enough to work as a pixel artist (doing sprites and Kaduki battlers for her) for Spuddy's game, I'm really enjoying when drawing these characters :D

      In all due fairness, I have seen much worse.

       

      And that's not including some of the unfair examples I could think of, like with LJN Video Art (yes an AVGN classic)...

      I mean, there are always a way to use anything. Alternate routes, making a portal that takes things back in time, etc etc. Creativity is always at the ready to show off.

    A bit late but here I am~ SpuddyFerret recently did a phenomenal job in composing whole OST (that link doesn't have all the tracks in it btw) (around 18 tracks in chiptune style!) in just less than a month, for my project that was supposed to be my IGMC 2017 entry but I failed at completing it within time - although I'm still excited in using these tracks for the project that I'll be redoing from start (yass MORE CHANCES TO USE SPUDDY'S MUSIC *insert evil laugh*) The big thing is that, she is very fast and DOES MUSIC FOR FREE she just asked for some pixel art in return but she really doesn't cost anything from you~ She's very fun (she sends you funny videos XD) to work with - she also understanding and humble to talk with (also thanks to her for suggesting me some name ideas for my project!) I highly recommend hiring her for some quality music for your games! I'll definitely hire her again (okay i'm broke lol and i really want to pay her for her hardwork lol lol)

      Awww I'm sorry to hear that.. It was like me with my project, I always create a deadline for myself but wouldn't be able to finish it because of something that would happen with the project and real life :3 Oh well, we'll both take it as a lesson and plan it out first before our schedule meets xD Hopefully you'll get better~

You've helped me with the part I was most worried for, thank you!! >< Also, I'm willing to do something in return if you'd like - right now my best skills that I can offer someone is pixel art - if you want a sprite or something that is pixel art - feel free to send me a PM!     @Traverse I'm just having problems when the animated actor is jumping (need him to not jump when other actors are doing so - if that is possible) everything else works fine

    @Traverse thank you so much for the snippet! It works great However, I still have a problem... I'm using Neon Black's smart followers, the snippet you've written doesn't works with that script - both of the scripts are important, if there's a way to make them work with each other it'll be great! EDIT okay I just put your script under Neon Black's script and it seems to work greatly! THANK YOU SO MUCH! <3 however, I still have problems when jumping - is there a way stop that actor from jumping when others actors are jumping?

    @Ninjamida it's okay ^^ I hope @vFoggy can help me with this like he did for my previous requests... I really need this script and I have only less than two days left, so any help will be greatly appreciated since this script is extremely important for me at the moment. I wish I could offer something in return, but due to the contest I really don't have much time. If anyone's willing to do this script for me in return for pixel art, I'm open for that (but I'll do the pixel art after contest ends because currently I'm extremely busy with my project) Please quickly send me a PM for details if you're interested!

    Is there a simple script (for VX Ace) that just creates a static "shadow" picture under the characters' sprites? I've tried looking all of them overkills.

      @Vis_Mage It will need a bit of tweaking to work correctly with the sprites I'm using.

      But the script does it's job very well, thanks a lot!

      Ah, looking for the sprites to have sunlight based shadows...

       

      Likely a detail most don't think of for 2D platforms...

      @PhoenixSoul Galv's script creates kinda realistic shadows.

       

      Though my current game doesn't really suits that, due to the pixel-based graphics.
