Would this automatically end the choice input?

Thought I'd say hello! I'm new to the forums, though I think I may have made my account a few months ago? I've been using RPG Maker for a while now, though I still have so much to learn. I'm in the process of writing a fantasy novel, but in my spare time I like to spend it on RPG Maker, developing a short horror game that revolves around depression. I am particularly passionate about the project, as I have recently beaten depression. While I intend to develop some of the themes in the game, I'm mixing it with subtle horror. I'm excited about where it's heading. And on that note, It's wonderful to meet you all. I've seen a lot of friendly people on the forums, and would like to be a member of this adorable community Hope you all have a good day

Hey everyone, How do I remove the choice menu from the screen without the player having to choose something? Basically, the player has 10 seconds to choose an option, if they don't the game will present them with Game Over. Problem being, is even when the timer ends, the menu is still there. How do I remove the choice menu without player input? I'm afraid my brain has been hacked to bits! No doubt there is a simple solution to this. Thank you
