  2. I've been wondering, is it possible to create a system that allows combat outside of the actual battle scene? As in, being able to attack and activate a few skills in a manner similar to that of the Legend of Zelda games? I've been playing around with different ideas, but I have pretty much no knowledge of scripting, and events can only do so much . So is there, or is it theoretically possible to make, a script that allows what I've described? Thanks!
  3. -Visible enemies can usually be avoided, and require sprites to be made for the enemies. They let the player plan for a fight, but also limit the total amount of monsters that can be encountered in a map, unless you have some method of spawning them in without the player's input(i.e. using "erase event"). -Random encounters, on the other hand, don't need sprites. Since they are, of course, encountered at random, there is less pre-fight planning involved, and they can't really be avoided. They can be encountered as many times as you want. They can be a bit annoying if the encounter rate is too high or low. I personally prefer visible enemies most of the time, but it kinda depends on the game. Er... not sure if that was even helpful at all.

    Player Wait in Parallel Process Move Route

    Could you, instead of making the wait as part of the move route, just turn a switch on instead? Then make an event that requires the switch to be on. The event causes a "wait", then turns the switch back off.

    Corrupt a Wish

    The object of this game is to corrupt the wish of the person above you, then make your own wish! Example: 1: I wish for pizza! 2: Granted, but it's poisonous. I wish that I could fly! etc. I wish that I had a really, really, comfortable chair.
