Specifications for Charsets? Will we be able to import previous artwork into RPG Maker MV?

Hello there, I've been working on a 2d character generator in photoshop that works with RPG Maker VX Ace's specifications for charsets. I'm wondering if this will also work in RPG Maker MV the same way? Here is a sample of the work: It would be extremely disappointing to me if it wasn't able to support this...and I might have to move on to Game Maker instead that would mean...or just release the game for PC only, which would be extremely disappointing, the way the gaming market is today. Also, I had to make a plugin to run VLC movies in RPG Maker VX Ace, and I'm wondering whether or not I would have to implement that within RPG Maker MV...although I'd assume it's just better to stick with low resolution movies at that point (running it on phones and the like). Thanks ahead of time for any answers you can give. I am kind of excited for RPG Maker MV, but I'm on the fence about whether or not to get it at this point because of this. : / -

Launcher has been updated. This version is ready for commercial release, unless someone finds a pretty bad bug. The bug with Shaz's Super Simple Mouse Script has been fixed, so that should do it. The source will be released at some point as well, although that will probably be into September or October. Thank you very much for using this. -

Update. Updating topic post, so read above. Here is the new launcher demo game for 7 22 2015: https://www.dropbox.com/s/i08dmcw41milw9g/TACSlauncher_7_22_2015.zip?dl=0 Please see the video added to the topic post. + Fixed Ctrl+Alt+Del to minimize game. + Launcher.exe forces fullscreen by editing fullscreen++ ini entries + Cannot run Game.exe without Launcher.exe if LauncherOnly script is active in RPG Maker + Added the following ini entries: DisableKeyboardAsGameController - Disables use of keyboard as game controller. Doesn't disable game controller plugged into computer. EnterToSkipMovie - Enter to skip movie. This adds to the Esc key to disable movies. AltCtrlDelQuits - This was a debug entry for myself. Will not be here in the next version. AltF4DoesntCloseGame - Alt+F4 key combination doesn't close game. F5andF6DisabledOutsideFSpp - Hard coded into the launcher so that F5 and F6 with fullscreen++ won't trigger. PrintScreenDisabled - Disables PrintScreen key. Upcoming features, I'm hoping: - Will fix Super Simple Mouse script bug (I think it said line 291 but don't write that down) This is still not ready for commercial use, as there is still an error that props up from time to time with Shaz's mouse script. Will do my best to fix it in the following few days. -

In the new update I fixed the problem. The Game.exe will run an error if you don't run from the launcher. I'm still learning Ruby so that's why it's still a process for me to come up with these updates, but the next update will give you a fullscreen ready-to-make-an-adventure-game setup. Thanks for trying it out so far. -

Well the original intention lol. I didn't intend to release this publicy, I was originally just making it for my adventure game. I'm going to have an update soon that forces fullscreen and in where when you Ctrl+Alt+Del it doesn't screw up your game. -

If you're unsure about it, please ask them or post within their topics. VLC Media Player has their license here, which allows you to redistribute the plugins folder and dll files: http://www.videolan.org/legal.html You can alternatively just use the movie script if that's what you're after, but I need to release another version for this. The point of the launcher is that, and I don't mean to sound selfish, I am creating an adventure game that I mean to sell on Steam. The launcher will give me the opportunity to integrate the Steam API into RPG Maker in a way in where I can program comfortably in C++, but firstly I needed full high quality movie support and click and point gameplay. RPG Maker's standard fullscreen is honestly terrible, but Fullscreen++ didn't support any mouse scripts right out of the box, so I created this and I'm releasing it publicly.
