i'm a bit confused... in the preorder page it show that... one key for both non steam and steam version if we buy the non steam preorder we also get steam version? which means 2 program? or we must choose only one... if we activate the standalone... steam version cannot be activated? If you buy from their store you get both, you can install it on steam AND individually simultaneously, if you buy from Steam you ONLY get steam.

I highly doubt that this is your usual pre order lock bonus, yanfly has already said the plug in is available for free from her own site. The only real 'bonus' of these plug ins is that they are part of the programme so you don't need to hunt for them according to the yanfly. Pre order bonuses disgust me usually but this seems to be legit just about convenience and not locking you out of potentially important plug ins.

Yeah you just don't get the stand alone version, you only get a steam version so you're always tied to steam, which isn't a bad thing in most ways.. Everything else you get. As to the plug ins, I think most are free, the 'bonus' is that you don't have to go hunt for them, at least that's, the case with yanflys

The price point will be the deal breaker. Sub $60 and it's a day one buy, mainly because I've only got 80 hours in ace so I'm not that committed like most on here. The side scrolling built in is another, I can't get on with the scripting for it in ace. Anything over that price and I'll get it in a sale.

Hello RPG makers, I'm Dray and I have been in and out of RPG makers since what seems like forever but never really got much done. I randomly decided 2 weeks ago to make an educational rpg for my 5 year old daughter. Its a great system and because the ease of control my daughter is now happily working her way through my 40 minute game catching butterflies and asking questions. Everytime she gets a level up she shouts and says I'm level 5 now or whatever level it is Now that MV has been announced I think I'll keep myself from pushing VX ace too hard and maybe get in to scripting a bit more in MV.

This will be an instant buy, I've dabbled in rpg maker since the 2000 one i think? but never seriously tried. Made one game back in 2005 then lost it and kinda gave up. Now I'm very much looking to make educational rpgs for my kids, they have loved my first attempt.

Thanks, I would have done this but everytime I added new things the save time got longer and longer, I now realise this wasn't because the game file was getting bigger but due to steam synchronising, I'm happier to just copy the map now

Hello everyone, I had rpg maker vx years ago, just getting back in to it and making a game with my 5 year old daughter and we're having a blast, I have loads of quests about adding up and word play so she is learning while playing Anyway, my main question is can I reuse a scene but completely clear it of events, my opening scene is a wedding and I want to reuse the church without the guests/cutscene etc, and whilst right now its the stock Church, in the future I want to make my own church. Many thanks for your help, apologies if I have asked a common question, google or search bar didn't help.
