      Nowhere; it doesn't exist. 😏

  2. https://www.microsoft.com/store/productId/9PP2ZDP99370 Alongside the release of version D1.04, I released the compiler tool on the Microsoft Store.

  3. vkzLRN5.jpgSo... I recently bought a Poweline Adapter kit. Whenever it's Remote Desktop or uploading files, it's pretty impressive.

  4. https://imgur.com/a/XQeiOdU Some nice improvements, alongside porting it to Linux (at least in Console App form).

    Overlay based lighting + Particles = ?

Hmmm, how exactly are you doing that? Just emitting some puffy smoke particle images that float up and left or something more fancy then that? Hehe, either way maybe you should make it emit sprites from slightly lower, it looks like they appear on top of the chimney rather then from inside. Maybe even fiddle with the bush_depth and bush_opacity attributes on the sprites to make the lower half of the tile get rendered over the sprites or something? I donno.

I am using a plugin that utilizes the Pixi Particles add-on. Then I make a smoke emitter (with a particle editor) and load it to the plugin. It practically works like the 2D particles system on the 3D engines. The plugin needs an event to work as the spawn point. The plugin I use is this: http://pivoo.me/particle-core/

Hehe, neat, though I don't really use MV myself.

  7. Took some time to figure out, but I was able to add a functioning progress bar to the compiler tool. Just need to tweak the handling of the threads, though. DSfRzdE.png

  8. OK. Compiling JavaScript files to binary (with nwjs' compiler) works with MV after doing some tweaks. I may release a tutorial and the alpha version of the tool I made to handle batch compiling.

  9. nUminhE.pngMy compiler tool (which makes binary versions of the JavaScript files) is coming along nice.

  10. Huh... Turns out that you can combine a few face graphic sheets to improve the loading times. And it works.Xw2jIP8.png

Hmmm.... Will that work in VX Ace too I wonder? Of course with Ace I use my cache script anyway witch helps a lot.

Makes sense, actually. Loading a single large asset versus loading many small assets.

Yeah, generally it's faster to load fewer big files rather then lots of little ones, but there are advantages to splitting up images too. It all depends on how you use them. I am just kinda surprised it works without needing any scripting/plugins.

  11. 80cik4w.pngNo party's wallet shall be safe! Muehehe! I'm making a plugin, btw.

Final Fantasy IV did the same thing if I recall correctly? Just had you drop money when you flee to make sure fleeing had a bit of consequence. Interesting idea, but seems kinda pointless in a game where gold flows like water. :3

You know, that reminds me of when I play Disgaea 5, there is a 'cheat shop' that lets you fiddle with how much exp/gold/other stuff you earn when you kill enemies at the cost of other values. I have my gold value set to 0% and put all my points in EXP, and I still earn more gold then I know what to do with from bonus stuff, chests, and selling items. I probably would set it negative if I could and still get enough gold.
