template RMVX/VXA - Sideview Battler Template (FFIV Style)

No problem. I needed them myself too. As for scripts, it's not my forte.
  2. Hi guys! I noticed the lack of battler templates, especially more simple ones, so I decided to try and emulate the old Final Fantasy style sprites, using VX/VXAce assets. Here you go: Poses 1. Idle & Victory Pose 1 2. Defend 3. Attack Wait 4. Right Hand Attack Preparation 5. Right Hand Attack 6. Left Hand Attack Preparation 7. Left Hand Attack 8. Magic 1 9. Magic 2 10. Magic Use & Victory Pose 2 11. Injured/ Low Health 12. Death Hope this helps!

    I'm back.....again!

Hey guys! Since October 2013, I've been away from this community due to my college education, and I recently posted another 'I'm back', topic, around May. However I still wasn't able to come back, even though I had a bit of free time on my hands. BUT! I'm able to come back full time now, as I've completed my two years at college, and got the grades I needed for University! The good news is, I'm back! The bad news is, I'll be gone in September, and then be online sporadically throughout the year. Anywhooo, I'm glad to be back and I'm going to begin work on my game again, and also recompile my World Map Tiles!

    I'm Coming Back

@MinisterJay My finals at College are just the ones to get me into my University. It's just they call them FMP's (Final Major Project), so I just shorten it to Finals. I study Art and Design at college though; I want to go onto Interior Design at University :3 And thanks guys, for welcoming me back so nicely!

    I'm Coming Back

Hey Guys! Just thought I'd post that I'd be coming back soon, with a ton of resources! I'm currently doing my finals at college, so you'll have to wait till after June for them, but I'll occasionally be on from now I hope everyone's okay!

    critique Map Name Logo Critique?

This is really nice Mysticaler. I'd suggest looking at the Kingdom Hearts, World entry screens - as they have similar Map Name logos (albeit a bit less dark). Another good example is Final Fantasy IX, as they have it for new places you haven't visited. Ice Cavern, is one such example.
  10. Update! I'm restarting work on this mid-way through this month. However, it will have a new topic due to it being a reboot, and not related to what I've developed so far. The new Spirits of Time will now be known as Spirit Saga!

Critique on my first ever Logo?

Metamorphous - I have no clue where I got it from though :/
  12. Hey guys! I just wanted to start a topic to discuss World Maps, and how engaging they need to be for the player to enjoy them. Newer Rpg's have extremely big World Maps (Skyrim is one such example), and being able to roam-freely is something which is generally favoured. However when considering the capabilities of the RPG Maker Engines, how engaging and big do you expect the world map(s) to be? I myself find that people often consider the World Map before most other maps, but I generally try and get the towns mapped first, and then build the world map around it so it's easier for myself, to figure plot locations and other stuff out. Size seems to be an important thing, many people think that a World Map has to be huge, but why not have more then one world map, it's not unheard off for a map to expand the further the story gets. Personally, I like a World Map, to have both a mix of important and general locations, with a few optional dungeons and such, which don't have a major effect on the main storyline, but perhaps have a sub-quest or something similar. Just the other day, there was status updates on this site, talking about World Map sizes and the discussion ranged from 200x200 to 500x500. I simply think the latter is too large for something engaging to be gained from an Enterbrain Engine. Anyways, what are your thoughts, anything will suffice from talking about maps you've designed to existing World Maps in games.

    Hey there :)

Welcome to the forums! I'm Master-Pixel but most people refer to me as 'Pixel' - username was a bit stupid, as I don't do pixel art xD Anyways if you need any help with Logos, feel free to ask :3 Good luck on your project!
