My husband (Lux_Fortuna) and I just bought the RPG Maker and we're still learning the ins and outs of the game. I wasn't able to reply to his post, so I made a new one. I'm the one that's going to be doing the art for pretty much all of the game, and I've never done sprites before. I was wondering if anyone could give me the basic instructions to making them. I've been practicing my art and have a ton of time on my hands to keep practicing (here is a link to what I'm able to do now: http://shinju-fortuna.deviantart.com/gallery/ ). I know it's not the best type of anime for games, but I've been practicing my lineart so I can learn how to shade like manga. I'll have colored pictures throughout too. We're not quite sure what kind of game we want to do, but just thinking of the ideas is really fun. We've thought of Panty Paradise, Angel and Demons, Good vs. Bad (morally as humans), and a few more. I've also been having issues editing my profile. I only have the option to edit notifications and random things. I want to change my gender, put interests in, and make it more personal but it's not giving me the option to at all. If anyone could help, I'd be very grateful.

I think the only people who know I like anime is my family, best friend from high school, and my husband (because he likes it too). It's a little awkward when people ask me what I like because I don't like talking about myself very often and I know the reaction they'll have if I tell them. Mhm, I also don't like to talk about myself, so ~ to avoid weird reactions directly - I announced that on my fb profile. Many friends etc. saw that, so now I don't have to talk about it. Some reacted weird, some didn't say anything... I don't really care what they think about me ~ I like what I like and that's their problem. (= I agree. I'll do what I enjoy, if they want to join in they're more than welcome.

Haha that's ok. If someone makes fun of me it kind of annoys me, because I don't insult them for the shows they like. And I'm sure they're hiding one or two things that would cause them to be made fun of. I just love anime and manga in general. I love that there is art involved, and that the stories aren't too long so you can watch a ton of different stories. It's just really cool.

Hello! Thank you. My art has slowly been getting better, but I'm still not where I want to be. I want to look professional one day. I think this project is fun. We're both doing it in our spare time, and it's got both of us being pretty creative. Idk, plenty of girls would love Panty Paradise. I've always loved animated shows. I started watching anime when I was 13, possibly younger, and before that it was stuff like Scooby Doo, Dexter's Labratory, Power Puff Girls, Kim Possible, etc. So I've been watching them pretty much all of my life. I get why people make fun of adults for watching it, especially guys. But that's only because they look down on 'cartoons' as an adult. Apparently there's a rule floating around that once you turn 18 you can only watch tv shows and movies that have people in it. Or spongebob.

Right now we have two maps, he's experimenting with the teleports, switches, etc, and I'm just seeing what I can do with the designing. But eventually we will make one map and start making the game. Haha, I first watched it when I was 19, and I never thought to like it either. I just watched it because a TON of my friends from an online game were gushing about it so I decided to check it out, and it wasn't that bad. It has a lot of jokes and themes you wouldn't understand unless you're an adult.

My style is the cat one with the brown hair and purple sweater, but I've been practicing other styles to try to get better. I'll definitely be posting to get feedback. Yep! I need to be on here for different reasons. He's the one that's doing all of the technical stuff and storyline, I'm doing the visuals (art and most landscaping). And thank you about my art. I guess I'm too critical of my own stuff. I'll definitely be posting some random stuff in here, we're still deciding on what general type we want to do (fantasy or normal).
