Single Status Update
Playing around with the idea of using a GUI designer to build RPG Maker HUD's, menus, etc. (see pic attached)

Eh, I wouldn't really say that... I mean I sorta see where you are coming from, but different languages often have different basic data structures and approach problems in different ways. Even if it all kinda ends up running machine code in the end, it's not the same. You don't approach any given problem in Ruby nearly the same way as you would if you were actually writing raw machine code. Syntactic sugar is more like using macros or other preprocessor tricks.
That's true. JS and Ruby are pretty similar though.
Everything I've needed so far is the same. Except ruby modules, where I could define methods that can be used across different, unrelated classes (eg: ducks can go quack, so can toy ducks, but they're definitely not the same class hierarchy)
Probably has everything I need.
