im going to tools - resource manger and importing it it to the graphics/charters, then i go to the data base and add a player and make it the tree and noting shows up

how would i make it so i can only make 1 picture and have it work, right now have this http://prntscr.com/8srfhl but when i import it i doest show up so how do i make it show up. the dimension of the canvas is 384 Tall x 288 wide

oh alright, and by doing it that way will i be able to have it so the player in the game can still walk around the tree? so like the very bottom trunk you cant walk though but then the part that has the leaves you can. just so it gives it the feel that the tree is up in the air and not like long on the ground.

so can i just make a blank sheet and use it as a tile sheet? as long as i make my images in the 32x23 square the game will let me use it? so like make a sheet the same size as the normal tilesets then make 3 pictures on it for the tree and import it

would it be good to make it so i have a 32x32 image for every part like have one 32x32 be part of the trunk then another be the leafs then just put them 1 by 1 in game to make it look like a tree

my friend wants a 3 tall tree with the leaves that go off into the tiles next to it so like 3 tall how would i do this? this is what he said he wants http://prntscr.com/8soygm so do i just make my own new file with only the tree. or use a tileset \from the game and edit that to make it. (sorry if you dont understand what i mean) and if its 3 tall how will the game know it all has to be 1 object and not 3 different ones?
