Thanks Yep, I use SAI and my Wacom Intuos4 for drawing and PS CS3. I used to use OpenCanvas a long, long time ago but when support got iffy, I switched to SAI and never looked back... that Stabilizing function is a life-saver.

I will still use ACE. I don't particularly like coding in JS but I do enjoy Ruby and the RGSS. Probably down the line when MV becomes cheaper I'll look into it (since it does offer much more customization and multiplatform). For now though, Ace is fine.

By RPG law it's either a sewer or a forest. Real answer- wherever the protagonist/party is at the moment. I mean if the party is starting in a huge city there better be a good reason they're traveling to the middle of a dank forest. Or if they're in the middle of a desert, etc. You don't have to adhere to a set "dungeon"

I couldn't get it to work tonight though (I'll probably try again tomorrow). Thanks for the links though. I wonder if there's a way to check if someone was attacked, besides using states. Maybe I'll dig through the default codes a bit more.

I'm sort of the same way... I have a total of twelve different skill types, haha. HOWEVER I only have two different elements, magical and physical.
