      You need to know who is the cellphone service provider, and then you use your email to send a message to their phone # + their carrier's "email" address. there is a short list of common providers on step #2 http://www.wikihow.com/Send-a-Text-from-Email email uses the same system as text. Text is SMS, Email/picture text is MMS

    I'm going with the second one. Having an image is eye-catching and it being streamlined will be easier for people to use, I think. But that's going off my simple mind.
