Can't get rid of two events and need help.

I've read loads of tutorials recently, and I'm still learning, but I think if you turned a switch on after they walked off, then have a 2nd page on the event which is blank, but has the requirement of that switch, then they'd dissapear? I'm probably wrong but I hope I helped. -
