Hi! First of all, this is my first time ever posting in the forums (although I've been a long-time lurker) so if anything in my post is wrong, I apologize in advance. This is my first try at making any pixel art at all. I'd love to know what you guys think and to know if you have any tips regarding the sprite. These are the separate sprites, because I want the door to be shut above my character

You mean the transition is too abrupt? Or that it should be more than 4 frames?
