  1. Hey, domain master! Why don't you hand over the reins to someone whose more active on the site, so when things break, they can be fixed, EH!?

Yeah, borked again; maybe you just want to see this site crash and burn. @Rikifive, what say you?

I said it once, I say it again.
@Rikifive should be given the reins; at least things will be kept going without hassle!

From what I've been told, all the troubles come from the web-hosting service that rebranded itself (or sold to someone else or whatever) and became unreliable since then. People in that company were changed and the new dudes are less nice to work with, so to speak, or so I was told. Something often happens on their end, which results in our database crashing, and while the forums are online, not all its parts are operational, until a repair is run.

Now, I fear, that even if I was in charge of everything, I wouldn't be able to prevent these crashes from happening, as the third party service is to blame.

As for the "domain master", I can't complain. While the owner doesn't appear active on the forums, they respond quickly to my mails and fix the problems within a day, never any longer than that.

The real solution would be to migrate to another web host I guess, but I suppose it's not as easy as it sounds.
