Okay... Please listen for a moment. Do me a favor and look at your followers for a moment. I donno about you but on that second row there is a particular pink pony with yellow hair. You know, Rikifive, who I am pretty sure is your friend as well as mine. And also happens to be the most active admin on the site. Now you know me. I have opinions and I have al least once broken the rules gotten in trouble with Riki in the past. So have you if I recall correctly. I have seen tyrant admins before, and while I don't always agree with Riki, they are not one. They have always been understanding. I would even use the word 'fair' to describe them, and you know how much I roll my eyes at that.

So here's a question: Do you think I would I stand by their judgement if you did if you did scream a bunch of vulgarities in all-caps and they banned you?

You know... For a long time I have sorta been skirting around what I think is an important issue. Because I am really really scared you are going to get really upset with me. They are a telephone company; it just so happens that they can wire the telephone lines to be used for internet service. Said internet service is provided by Verizon.

As for the wireless USB adapter, for now (YEAH FOR NOW-GIVE IT A FEW MONTHS LIKE THE LAST TWO DAMN TIMES), it works okay. The wireless signal is acceptable, but I will be looking into a wired solution later on. Either that or moving out. Right. Like that's remotely possible.

I find that in many scripts a max of zero is often treated as meaning the item doesn't have a max. Really 'nil' works much better, but most people don't really know about it and it's harder to use in notetags. What happens if you just don't give an item durability at all?

Also: If I am understanding how prefixes work correctly, since durability isn't a normal feature/stat on equipment, I bet it would be ignored by prefixes.

The durability is a suffix, but yeah, that's exactly what I am thinking is happening.

If one doesn't notetag the durability it sets it to the default as configured in the script. I dunno what happens if the default is 0.

Whatever, it's a modifier.

I see the new artists on the RPG Maker Web. I am happy that MZ and MV art format similar.

Yeah, the artists are really active there, but the MZ-VS is now a negative emotional war. I encourage people to be nice to others people, but I do not think it will be the same.

First Person Labyrinth Explorer. It was revamped for MV but got its' start in XP.

I don't intend to use it for any current projects but it is neat to see, especially since there's a potential lot one can do with it.

I was referring to this actually, but that probably works just as well if not better.

One of them is designed as a framework for letting other plugin devs define new effects for users so that users don't need to write code. The other is designed to be just "write whatever code you can think of"

The first one, being a framework, requires additional set up. And then you're stuck with limited note-tag parsing option.

The second one, you get multi-line code parsing. Definitely better.

Firefox has TOOONs of extensions and a lot of them are made for both. And really most of the time you 'downgrade' by uninstalling and reinstalling an older version and turning off automatic updates. Most of the time your settings/extensions/whatever don't get deleted when you uninstall stuff just in case you need to do something like that.

I know that there are some I have that do not, so...

Some awesome stuff one can do with XP is land bridge events. It takes a lot of events to do that, sure, but one can use any tile as an event tile, which is pristine advantageous.

You can use any tile for event graphics already except for A Tiles (Auto Tiles)

Yup, it's as XP had it, as long as the ground tiles support auto-configuration even when made as event tiles...

Just how many characters are you doing this for or are you doing bases to make it easier? 40 is...a hefty load of time to set aside and get done. Making good sprites isn't fast in the first place, so a project indeed. These personal use, resources or for what you're working on?

Except you don't actually have a plan for that do you? You say you care too much. That you want to see the suffering of everyone else end. Yet you always always without fail frame it as if there is some source of evil that you can defeat that will solve everyone's problems. To be fair, I do talk about Yaldabaoth a lot, but that's more of a personal battle. And an excuse to make fun of the whole idea. Everyone has to defeat Yaldabaoth themselves. They have to find their own truth. There is no knight in shining armor that can save everyone. Everyone has to save themselves.

If you want to help ease people's suffering, you can go out and do that. But you can't save everyone. But I wonder... Is that even really what you are trying to do? It seems to me like what you end up doing is making an enemy to attack inside your head. Doesn't matter what they actually did or even if they actually are real outside your head or not at all. Any enemy will do. Because you aren't fighting them. You just need them to 'stand up to'. You just need a banner. And while you go off chasing that enemy, no one actually gets any help. Least of all yourself.

I want to see it end, I do. However that comes about, is how it comes about. I'm no damn hero; I don't pretend to be and don't want to be. You once said that 'everyone is the hero of their story', and I say, pleh to that!

There's no correct way to phrase that, but the best way is 'each person is the main character of their story'.

I'm no 'knight in shining armor'/Spider-Man/Wonder Woman; I feel just as badly for them because they throw their own lives under the bus for the purpose of aiding others. I said I want to see the suffering end, and I'd be more than okay with such being from any form of mass-extinction event, as much as I would be with society finally pulling their heads out of their arses and getting rid of government.

I'm not chasing any foe, I'm seeking answers.
