I know of 'Crusaders of Centy', but I don't think I have played it, or at least not that much. I never really got in to many megadrive/genesis games. About the only megadrive/genesis action/adventure/rpg I think ever played that much of was Byond Oasis, but that was ages ago and I can't remember too many details.

Beyond Oasis was the game that got published en mass whilst Ragnacenty had a relatively large following in Japan at the time. I watched the Gaming Historian's video on the game and remembered seeing the game one time and never getting to play it, though I wanted to.

I've had those issue more than a few times. At this point I'm just completely designing my own clothes/body types for my characters (I have some very muscular characters in my game...) while keeping the looseleaf base but it is a lot of work so I wish there were male and female variations of clothing and body types in the default generator.

Btw, do you two use Game Character Hub or the old online generator? I haven't been able to find the latter since geocities was taken down, is it still up? GCH is better regardless but I still miss the old online looseleaf generator for nostalgia reasons lol

The old looseleaf generator is somewhere, likely archived. I've used it before.

GCH is far more stable.

yes, I prefer the standard 104 key type keyboard. My most expensive one is $60 CAD. Has issues typing. if you don't press the keys firmly then it missed keys. Another is light so it slides around on my glass desk. So I keep getting new ones to find the best fit. Trouble is that makes it expensive.

You know something that makes me feel kinda guilty? I just got a new laptop keyboard the other day because my currant one has some problems (some keys are sticky and don't work right half the time, and the down arrow key is entirely missing). Though the jokes on me because I need to take apart my laptop to install it and I forgot that I have no idea where any of my screwdrivers are. >w<

Okay, I speak of reloadable debit cards and yes there are some that don't require any form of identification to use.

Of course, those come with fees and some even have usage/lack-of-usage fees, but I'm trying to get somewhere with this...

If I had my own debit card, I could do a lot more...since physical currency is soon to go the way of the dodo...

People have been saying cash is going away for untold decades, and yet it never does. Nor will it any time soon I bet. Credit/debit cards can be useful for many things, but they also are part of this a being complicated system that sometimes just doesn't work. The utility of being able to just actually have physical money that you can just physically hand people without all the hassle of dealing with that system is too much for people to just get rid of.

We agree on that, though, I can't hand physical currency to Steam, now can I?
(okay yes, there are Steam Wallet Cards but I can't hand a physical $20 bill through my damn monitor LMAO)

If I wanna buy something off of BLAMAZON, physical currency is a no-go, same with eBarf, and so on.

Since I had to manually set that data (and for some tiles I actually wasn't sure at first how to set the data because I wasn't even sure what the fuck I was looking at lolz), I knew there would be mistakes made aplenty...

But yeah; it does not show that graphic everywhere; if it did, that would of actually been quite helpful.

It's probobly a good idea to actually start making maps using the tiles first to see how they fit together and setting the tile's data based on that. Even so, remember it's your tileset data used for your game, so it's not really a mistake if your tileset data ends up being very different from the one in the original game or you use tiles in different ways. I don' think you really have to spend a lot of time guessing what a tile is for if you have no clue, just use it as whatever you want to use it as.

I agree, but one issue I have is that if I can't even guess at what it could possibly be, making up what it is in my mind is not something I find comfortable doing. I mean, I'm not looking at inkblots here, lolz

Actually, that's what I usually do. Though, there are times when I'd rather get the underlying data done first, and that is usually the case when I have a lot of data to sort through (i.e. this tileset).

I haven't played the source game, so I don't even know if the tilesets are arranged in remotely the same manner or not. That said, I'd presume they're very likely to not be. I also don't even know if the source game uses VX Ace as the engine base, or if it's some other engine.

What's the difference between press and trigger? I'm guessing repeat means 2 or more consecutive presses?

.trigger? will only look for a single press of the input. This is more useful for precise input mechanics, i.e. the Konami Code.
.press? will look for the input being held down, whilst .repeat? is used to have the input command repeat whilst the input is held down, akin to turbo input/turbo-fire (auto-fire is a misnomer as that is actually in reference to the input being repeated without the input actually being pressed down manually).

Yeah, I know, love. Just making sure you knew that it was an RGSS issue, not just because the Dual Wield flag was not set (many characters have this set as is). My skills with Ruby/RGSS are not that great either; I learned quite a bit from dearest love @Kayzee here, as well as a few others, @Rikifive, @Seriel, to name a couple, but I'm still quite the novice.
