Hello ladies and Gentle men Welcome to my Official Game Show Case Thread! Before I actually start, I would like to explain how my Game Show Case Service works! My service is basically a way for me to help makers get more following on their games/projects. To do this I will be show casing the strong points and downsides to each game, in a review style. So each episode will be kinda like a review of the game. and based on this people watching will know more about your game and decided for themselves if it's worth there time. In many casing this might be the little push that helps someone download, and play your games. First of all I was just providing a resource for him/her to use to further advance his/her skills in rmvxa as he/she said he/she knew the basics, and is a Novice to rmvxa. If i didn't have a YouTube channel, and knew of another resource that I thought would be helpful, I would have posted it instead of my channel, and I provided my link because not everyone knows that my userbar is clickable. The rules state that you are NOT to advertise in threads, it is NOT allowed. I do not go around posting links to my music in every single thread, there are many users who have tutorials and scripts, but they are only linked when they are necessarily That's total different, you posting your music on every thread, and me providing a link to a tutorial... anyways he/she said that they were a novice in rmvxa, and in the title of this thread she/he said "Take care of me" So i'm providing him/her with a place that she can go to to learn the things he/she doesn't know. "Taking care of him/her" Don't tell me how to moderate members. I said exactly what you "suggested", in my own way. In any case I did not say anything with a "tone" and any form of address is a moderating standard. if you do not like the way I spoke you can contact either @kaz or @amerk with your complaint. I said watch how. I had no problems with you addressing me, just how you did it. Also I don't care enough to report you.

Yeah,but keep in mind I'm mostly working on making a demo for my project,so I can't record as much as I wish. that's the beauty of my game, it can be played in 5mins... one of those game you have to keep playing to get better at it, and you are guaranteed to lose(die) a lot.

Wow thanks, that fixed the problem. As I said before a nice feature for this script to have to the ability to pick which region the event should not be able to spawn. so if you have a map with like 50+ regions (which I do,) you should be able to tell the event to not spawn in region 1,2,3 and spawn in the rest. If I wanted to do that I would have to add all the regions, then leave out the ones I don't want. Doing that can become frustrating especially if you have a lot of regions like me, but it's not really a big deal. Anyways Thanks again for the help!

you can probably spend 10h+ just trying to be rich, lol. but yes, there's enough things in it to role play. Meaning there's no meaning to the things you do yet, so you have to set your own goals like minecraft. an example of how you can do the let's play. try to be rich try to craft the best armor/weapon win the lottory become the boss at e-corp over dose on cocaine etc... there's a lot to do, I can't remember everything right now. btw what's ur YouTube channel?

Hey, welcome to the LP Biz lol. Anyways I would like for you to let's play my games I have three in total! 1. Lost Woods(Recommened! Play this first.) This is a horror game based on slender man! 2. Endless TerraFiy - This game is a twin stick shooter type game where you only goal is to kill as many enemies before you die 3. LIFE: MiNi Town - Last but not least, This game is my Main project that I've been working on for 9 months nows, It's still be development with a working beta. This game is an Open world life Sim, where you can do almost anything you can do in RL. again it's still being made and not close to being finished. All my game feature an active battle system, because I don't like turn based games, except Pokemon... Also keep in mind the first two game were made in two days each as a side project to take a brake form my main project, being #3. All my game are good IMO! I recommend you play Lost woods because it's a game you can play for about 5 mins depending on your skill LV playing it, and also because it's a grate game to do a first let's play on since it's short. I still get an error on this line when there's no page without condition. return event.list[0].code == 108 && event.list[0].parameters[0].upcase.include?(tag.upcase) this is what's causing it. Even if it doesn't have the tags I still get the error, unless I make a blank page. all the three pages have a check on the 1st switch. Also thanks! EDIT: a cool feature to have is putting the Region tags you don't want the events to spawn in. so if I want the event to spawn in all the regions but one.

I have a huge 400x400 map, and I'm using the pearl abs. I'm trying to set up my monster locations based on region ids for example bunnies spawn, in most areas thats grassy, same with bears, but snow bears will spawn in snowy areas etc... small portion of the map, the colors are the region tags

I try to work on it any chance I get I'm currently working on two big projects, and two smaller projects including this one.

Nice, review. I will fix some of the issues mentioned, mainly the bugs. For the story I like it the way it is because it's a dream, and in dreams you don't really know what's going on and most of the times there's no reason for your dream, or what you're doing in it. It's just there, and you're experiencing it. I will however take your advice to make the pages tell the story when I make Part 2 of this game, Where death follows you to the real world. Another things I really have no control over, well at least I don't think I do is the event not running when you're interacting with another event. And I will definitely add the picture for when death appears. Also the screen shaking is actually telling you when death is near, but I can see how it could be annoying, I'll try to change that. Finally as for the mini map, I will not be adding one, I want the player to be lost It's all part of the gameplay, but I will add the map to the game's folder where it would be available to everyone who downloads the game. The map isn't really there to guide you although it does. Almost forgot the health is for hard mode where death's minions try to slow you down they will do dmg to you, but death kills at the touch.

Lost Wood is my version of Slenderman made using RPG Maker VX ACE. This game was made in two days. That being said this game has no story to it but the background story, you have a simple task collect 8 pages scattered all over the map to escape your nightmare, before being caught by Death.
