i listed some rpg maker horror games at the head post, but for non-rpg maker games. I think Silent Hill shattered memories is my most favorite. Fatal Frame series comes second.

A game by clockwarkgate! He just released an update a week ago. I played it myself and the first 30 minutes is nothing but expositions. The actual adventure starts after that. The game is made in RPG maker VX. There's a lot of grammar error but the game is kinda decent, it uses ATB system. I'm just helping to expose his game out there! Anemone here (obviously not real name LOL), in flower language it means "death or forsaken love". I'm new to RPG Maker development and currently practicing with RPGMV before I step on creating my first game to share to all of you. I'm a fan of horror rmk games, not the jumpscare aspects but the grotesque and disturbing graphics like Yume Nikki, Middens, Wadanohara (sea of death episode), and Ib. Other than that, I also love fantasy action games that has interesting game mechanics. I don't mind about the story, I'm more charmed on the gameplay. sometimes I found it cringey and out of taste. It may work if the series' main genre is comedy. I rarely see pop culture reference done right or maybe my standards are too high.

I'm playing with Rpg maker mv before I move on creating a serious project.
