    JPS Pathfinding

It's this one here. It's extremely simple, but it's more or less what I need.

    JPS Pathfinding

I'll check it out in a new project. The most likely culprit is the stealth script I have, but I'm gonna replace it soon with a Yanfly one because I suspect it's also stopping me from saving the game properly.

    JPS Pathfinding

I have this weird problem where I'll have an event chase the player and it will just veer off in a random direction. The map is a straight hallway.
  4. I genuinely wonder what the pathfinding coders were thinking sometimes...

      In relation to...?
Edit: Nevermind. I see the issue with the one script. I would know nothing about it though since I don't really use pathfinders, or haven't felt a need to have one...

About the default pathfinding, why the event veers off to directions that aren't towards the player when I set it to "Approach."

What default pathfinding? Approach just turns in the direction of the player and moves forward. It doesn't do any pathfinding at all!

    JPS Pathfinding

Which one would you recommend? I find the default pathfinding in VXA to be... Lacking, to say the least. (Come on man, "Approach" doesn't mean "Walk off to the left for no reason".) EDIT: I just backread. Is the one by Jet and Venima worth the hype?

    JPS Pathfinding

Probably a really dumb question, but is there a way to make the target the player?
  7. Soon, I can upload a demo in games in progress! :D

  8. The annual competition to see who can punch people in the face for stuff they don't need the most is going down at the local Walmart.

    Alternate Paths In Maps

Depends on the project. For the one I'm putting all my energy into, one of the main points is how goofily simple a lot of it is. That doesn't mean there's more to explore or there aren't multiple ways to achieve things, but there is a certain degree of linearness to most things in it. For other projects that maybe aren't so simple (to play, I mean), I'd definitely do this and I really wish more games would do this. I can't think of a good example from my planned games that would have this, mostly because, now that I have all my projects back from holding, I'm deciding what will and won't be a game, but if any of them do end up being games, I'll 100% make this a thing because it's just so darn fun! EDIT: Thought of an example. If I made Bloody Dark Night a game, you'd get to explore all of Holt Manor. Every secret passage, every nook and cranny, just everything. You'd get to learn the shortcuts and find several paths to travel throughout the place, even finding hidden bits of lore, items, puzzle pieces, objects, etc.

Wheelchair in an RPG - Open Discussion

When I was thinking of doing something similar until that project became a writing project, I drew inspiration from from Alien: Resurrection. One of the characters is a bada** in a wheelchair who uses his chair to hide all sorts of things, like weapons and, if my memory serves me right, he also uses it to store things he picked up along the way. He's got a gun in there, I know that for sure. While he didn't have a technical backup for if he fell out, he did have a friend who was willing to carry him around if he couldn't use it - that was a plot point even. He was also great at using his arms to do things like climb ladders (another plot point).
  12. You know your ex was bad when your own stalker DMs you and apologizes for what you had to put up with from him-

They're both stupid as far as I can tell.

Yeah, they are. But hacking into all of my accounts and managing to mimic how I type had to count for something.

Intellectual capabilities never account for the inability to act decently, and not stupidly. lol

Red Army Files: 001 (PROJECT WAIFU)

lolz Yeah, that's sorta close! I can't find my reference picture just now, but Naifu Waifu is about 30 feet (9.144 metres) tall, dark red and has a knife in each of her tentacles. She's unfortunately something that might delay the game's progress, but she's also a driving force behind why I came back. Look, I can sprite off a base, I can't sprite by myself- That little girl's adorable. What's her name? 10/10, would hug.
