  1. Wish I knew how to change the z value of the player or of events. Anyone have any ideas?

      Biggest problem with doing that is the character will also go under events above it, though if every character had a different z value rather then them sharing one with the same priority, you might be able to do it. That would involve changing the screen_z method in the Game_CharacterBase class to calculate the z value in some other way.

      That's actually what I want -- I think? Does that mean that the player will walk under Same as Character events as if they were Above Player, or will that simply mean that the large sprite outside of the 32px tile will go under the event graphic? If it's the latter, that's actually exactly what I want.

      That's beyond my scripting ability 😖

      Is it possible to make the screen_z method make the player have a consistently lower z value than events? How difficult would that be to write?

      Here's an example. I want the part of the large sprite that is going over the nun to actually go under her.
