How would I go about calling Common Event #8 during a map transfer? I already know where to place the code (it's in Game_Player), I just need to know what command I need to call. Thanks again

Well, you could reserve a common event like this:
Though that wouldn't really run until after the transfer event is done I think. We could also try running a common event right away by doing something like this:
common_event = $data_common_events if common_event child = Game_Interpreter.new(0) child.setup(common_event.list, 0) child.run end
But honestly I'm not sure if that's a good idea.
I think that if I could have the common event be called after transferring, it would solve the issue in the thread presented below but maybe I'm very wrong
Anyways, I tried that and I get the error "can't yield from root fiber"
Well I *think* I just miraculously solved the issue using yet another parallel process common event with a "$game_player.transfer?" conditional branch.
Why does eventing feel so much better than scripting, lol...
