  1. I found a tutorial on YouTube called, RPG Maker MV Tutorial: Importing and Setting up Tilesets by someone by the username, TL. I tried following the instructions she laid out in her tutorial video, but I think I'm still doing something wrong, but I don't know what it is. After importing a tileset image, and trying to add it to RPG Maker MV's default Tab B under 0003 Inside tilesets but the image does not show up, when I go to that tileset's tab. The instructions that come with RPG Maker MV seem to be very basic, with no step-by-step instructions on how to correctly import DLC. Is there a free PDF instructions manual anywhere on the Internet for RPG Maker MV that is complete and accurate? Thank you anyone, for any help with this.
  2. Ah. Sorry, then. But thank you for your information.
  3. I have a minor question of my own, that I'm not sure warrants a whole separate thread. Is there a way to rotate a selected tile set in drawing maps? For instance, the tile sets for steps in building interiors can only face left or right. Is there a way to rotate them so they can face up, or down?
  4. Hello, everyone. I am a new user of RPG Maker MV. I am interested in adding more variety of hairstyles for the Character Generator in the program; particularly, a few hairstyles that are customarily styled by, and for, black people. I am also interested in having two separate genders for children in the Character Generator, and with at least a couple of added choices for almost every category (hair, eyes, face markings, wings, accessories, etc.). As a bonus, I am also interested in adding a couple of customary Arabian/Muslim and sikh headdresses for the Character Generator, for Accessory 1 or Accessory 2. If there is anything that is already made and is available, I apologize, as I'm still getting the hang of getting the most out of this forum's search feature. So links to any of the above that is already made, would be appreciated. Thank you for anyone who may respond to my post. :)

    Looking for Hairstyles Plug-In

So I just need to find hairstyle choices that have already been made by a graphics designer for RPG Maker MV, that I can import? And from what you said, yeah, if that is the case with the kids in Character Generator, I will leave that alone.

    Hi there, everyone!

Hello everyone, I'm Andrew, in Santa Clara, California. I am a complete, 100 percent newbie when it comes to game engine programs that people can use, to design, create, and distribute their games. I am very close to deciding to purchasing RPG Maker MV (It's eighty percent off right now, for several days, on Steam; YAY!). I read quite a number of customer reviews on Steam, but there's at least one potential issue that is holding me back. At least one reviewer has pointed out their frustration with the layering system in RPG Maker MV, when creating maps. They point out that the way the automatic layering system works, it causes one layer to get distorted or erased, and then that part has to be redone. Or something, to that effect, based on what I'm remembering from what I read in that review. How troublesome or frustrating have others had, in creating maps in RPG Maker MV, due to the automatic layering? Thank you, for anyone's response.
