SYNOPSIS Cards are mysterious artifacts that exist in the world since its birth, and they allow people to control the forces of nature. Not only that, but over the years, the human kind has learned to craft their own cards. Now, almost everything is done with the use of cards, and the ones who battle with them are called Card Masters. Every 20 years, Utopia, a mythical card capable of granting any wish, appears on Earth, and all Card Masters battle for the honor of using it. In order to determine who's worth Utopia, The Empire, a political group that rules the world, has skilled Card Masters battle among themselves in groups of four people in the Card Master Tournament. The game follows the story of 3 childhood friends, Tez, Erika and Lucius, in their pursue to become strong Card Masters and have their most desired wishes come true. However, it's not going to be so simple, as strong adversaries will stay in their way to winning the tournament and, mainly, a huge mystery appears and raises many questions: What is the secret behind The Empire? What exactly is Utopia and, most importantly, what is the origin of Cards? CHARACTERS Tez Tez is a rather simple-minded countryside boy who sees life in a very positive way. Despite being extremely oblivious, Tez has a huge heart and will do anything to help his friends when they are in need. When he was 9, his parents set off on an adventure to take care of something and never returned. Tez has incredible strenght and bulk, being the perfect physical attacker. Erika Erika is a determined, and sometimes pretty bossy, girl. Erika lives in the same village as Tez and, since Tez' parents were believed to have died, her mother let him live with her and Erika. Since then, Erika has acted like a big sister to him and bosses Tez around up until the present days. She treasures her homeland, the Kokonoko Mountain, more than anything. She is the fastest of the group. Lucius Lucius is a humble and polite boy who likes learning about different topics of study, such as astronomy and sailing. Lucius lives in Port Harbor, a beach village near Tez and Erika's place. Because his father is a sailor, he has travelled around the world and has way more experience than his two best friends. He is an average mage and has the highest Luck of the group. Dawn Dawn is a mysterious girl who becomes friends with Tez, Erika and Lucius. She has a bubbly personality, but can be pretty smart when she needs to. Despite being fragile in battle, she has the best magical potential of the group and can deal devastating magical damage to the enemies. GAME MECHANICS It is a common turn based RPG Game, however, your characters' skills and play style are defined solely by the cards they use, giving you total freedom to build your characters and battle in the way you see fit! In this game's world, people fight using powerful artifacts called Cards, being then considered Card Masters. There are 4 different kinds of cards and a Card Master can equip one of each. In order to become a skilled Card Master, it is important to understand the different kinds of card there are: Class Cards: These cards are synthetic, human-made cards that guide the combat style of the Card Master, as well as their weapon usage and mastery. Different Class Cards give different skills and define each Card Master's roles in battles. Being made by humans, these cards are obtainable with people, either in vendors, given as gifts or obtained through trading. There are 50 cards of this kind. Element Cards: These cards are the essence of nature and are believed to be created by Cardnia, the Goddess of all Cards. They can be found everywhere around the world and usually their power creates certain unnatural ocurrings that indicate the existence of an Element Card around. The Element Cards give the Card Master elemental magic related to its inherent nature and define the property of the user (fire, water, wind, earth, light, dark or neutral). There are 50 cards of this kind. Monster Cards: The wilds are inhabited by all kinds of monsters and beasts, and each species carries their essence in the form of Monster Cards. Defeating a monster has a chance of nature presenting the Card Master with the Monster Cards, so fighting more monsters increases the chances of finding their cards. There are rumors mentioning monsters having special variants that carry their species' essence so strongly that, when defeated, always leave its cards. Monster Cards gives the user unique skills and special passive abilities, like poison immunity or half MP cost. There are 50 cards of type. Special Cards: These cards carry powerful deities inside them and not only are very rare, but usually require particular methods to be obtained. Special Cards provide the power to summon its deities, thus allowing the Card Master to turn the tides of a battle. There are only 8 cards of this kind. It is essential to understand the sinergy between these cards and come up with compositions that will give you an advantage in the game. Can you prove you are the Ultimate Card Master by winning the Card Master Tournament and Finding all 158 Cards there are?! Since I can no longer promote it on the QT through my signature, I am just going to put it on the table. This is it, folks. This is what I’m here for. I am doing other projects for experience in the meantime. It might sound pretentious, but this is my love letter to vintage RPGs, Square, and the RM community as a whole, including Enterbrain and ASCII. It’s all the muse it filled me up with since my childhood, carefully distilled to create a single story. Deep down, at its core, Overworld is an intergalactic love story that focuses on three special characters who are all part of the same interstellar legacy. I slapped together some lore on the spot. Did the best I could, but it has layers that are just hard to properly set up all at once. The game narrative would cover it all and much more. LORE Long ago, the Denizens set forth into space. Orphans from a dead, forgotten planet in search of a new home. They discovered Tri World. A special planet comprised of three layers. Overworld, the surface and waters of the planet. Underworld, the hellscape beneath the surface of the planet. And Skyworld, an invisible paradise above the cloud canopies of the sky. They knew their arrival would be far too sudden and abrupt to promise a healthy, stable development of their relationship. Furthermore, they knew that they would never be the ones to live here. Instead of an occupation or invasion, they covertly collected DNA from the major races of Tri World and mixed it with some of their own, creating a male and female subject to carry their legacy, and in time, rule the planet with the people's support (this never comes up in our story, it was just a premise for why they are created). They would represent complete union, and contain the best of all races. This pair of souls was unlike any other in existence, containing mystical properties that entwine them together throughout time and space. When they die, they are reincarnated into new bodies birthed from random women all around Overworld. These souls are drawn to one another like magnets. Regardless of conditions, they always reunite, fall in love, and die together. Offspring were never able to be produced, and whilst waiting over generations, something went horribly wrong. A female subject killed her male partner in an act of premeditated murder. The connect was severed, and no male was born again, breaking the line. The Denizens population has withered away to one family. Desperate to fix the problem, they create a male clone at the moment of a new female’s birth, and send it down to Overworld. Backstory (Revealed later in game) Leeson is discovered on a shoreline by a fisherman and raised as a human boy. His green hair was unusual, so the fisherman’s wife routinely dyed it black. Leeson became a soldier and fought as a rebel in the Imperial war, but was inevitably drawn to his counterpart, who didn’t seem to be drawn to him because he couldn’t seem to find her. His search leads him to the legendary rebel frigate, Corsair. Leeson becomes a trusted ally of Captain Siegfried Blackheart (see my avi for reference), and his first mate, Rico Cortez. Several years later: Leeson is still searching for his partner, but unbeknownst to him, she dies prematurely of illness. The last Denizens, now much older, make one last attempt to make things right. Another clone is sent down. . . (Game Begins) Leeson is drawn to a shoreline whilst at port, and discovers a baby boy with green hair wrapped in a swaddle. Rico Cortez takes the boy as his own, naming him Xander Cortez. He grows up alongside Rico’s kids, Rio and Mia Cortez, and their friend, Leon Blackheart. Introduction The player will spend some time as Xander, Leon, Mia, and Rio as children, Rio being a pre-teen. You have a room on the Corsair you can decorate a little bit. The kids end up shadowing Siegfried, Rico and Leeson against instructions, so there is some dialogue and play as children. Seigfreid meets with another Captain and Imperials ambush the scene. Everyone is separated. The exact scene has had 3 different settings from a wharf to a warehouse to another ship, but: Rico is struck down, Siegfried is killed, Leon emerges, exposing the kids and throws a grenado that creates even more chaos, Leeson ushers Leon out of there, Rio storms the Imperials and is taken by them, Mia runs and Xander follows her. They reach the Corsair to find it being seized by the enemy. Xander steps up and gets Mia out of there. 13 years later: The player is now assuming the role of Xander and Mia, living in a quiet walled city in a far western nation still neutral in the war. They work as light weight Mercenaries for a local contractor. They take the soft jobs none of the other mercs want to do, and the pay reflects it. After a few jobs and some development, a new job will cross their paths with a pair of familiar faces. . . Leon and Leeson. Shortly after the player gets reunited with the Corsair, and find their room is exactly as they left it. It’s not long before life on the Corsair brings them close enough to Imperials to meet Xander’s counterpart, Fera. She's a devout knight serving in the Imperial Infantry. Fate will bind their spirits and send them across all three layers of Tri World on a quest to save it from certain destruction at the hands of the Emperor’s latest and greatest weapon, Rio Cortez. He has been broken and manipulated by his captors, and now leads a vicious conquest to speed up the Emperor’s plans for world domination. You meet plenty of other characters, such as Vega Numera, a young, gifted inventor from the slums of Machine City, who is forced to collect scrap for his underprivileged family. GAMEPLAY I don’t have a fancy section prepared, but I aim to swing for the fences whilst keeping things appropriately neat and trimmed. Very open to input and co-development. The world and setting is supposed to be very endearing, rich with character, texture and lore. The one major thing I have developed for it is the crafting system, particularly the Invention category. Vega can build a Death Bot, a secret character, as one of the notable perks. The Corsair will also play a bigger role in gameplay than most ships. I was thinking Falcao’s tools system could be used to have live action world map battles whilst navigating the waters. That’s all for now. I may add stuff later.

PROGRAM USED: VX Ace GENRE: Fantasy/Classic SNES-style RPG PROJECT INFO: [LINK TO DEMO HERE] Once, long ago, the world was full of magic and wonder; two races, humans and elves, lived alongside one another in peace and harmony. Then, one day, a demon of unimaginable power began to tear apart the very fabric of reality; all of creation stood on the brink of destruction. And so the Gods themselves, in desperation, were forced to make a terrible decision in the hopes of saving the universe: they split their creation in two--one a world of magic, the other a world of matter--and in between the two, they sealed the demon away. They wept for their creations; never again could the two races mingle as they once had. Never again could magic exist alongside technology. For if ever the two worlds were merged again, the demon would be set free--and his reign of terror would begin anew. But two worlds, once whole, can never truly be parted, for they yearn to be as one. And when worlds collide, tragedy follows... Explore a massive fantasy world, with plenty of unique locations and numerous side questlines! Discover the consistent and well-planned history and lore of the world, and get rewarded for it! A unique "upgrade" system where you customize and upgrade your weapons over time rather than buying new ones at every town! Combine your attacks and spells to form powerful "dual skills" for a new level of strategy! ...and much, much more! The story is almost entirely written save for a few specifics here and there, and I plan to compose plenty of original music for it, but even so some assistance would be welcome on both fronts. Here are the positions I'm looking for: Mapping [POSITION TAKEN] Writing (for help with story/dialogue) [POSITION TAKEN] Eventing [POSITION AVAILABLE] Dungeon/puzzle designers [POSITION AVAILABLE] Artists (for battlers, battlebacks, the title screen and intro cutscene images) [POSITIONS AVAILABLE] People to work on skill/exp/stat/monster balance [POSITION AVAILABLE]

The first in any incorporeal step is to rise and become cognizant of your own desires. All walks of life must adhere to this simple concept. Resistance to such is to follow what is laid out before you, progressing infinitely through kalpas created over nonsensical dreamstates. How? Because all paths are laid out regardless of prior choice. The most difficult area in this regard is to accept this as an absolute, and move forward with what is necessary. Defiance is not optional. You only have a single directive - comply. Description Geiken is a mystery/philosophical story set in a fantasy/sci-fi world, inspired by games from the Legend of Zelda, Elder Scrolls, and Fallout series. Hello, mates! My name is Gabriel Wagner and I'm a composer, sound engineer and vocalist. I'm looking for game project in RPG/Action genres. I write music in the style of Jeremy Soule (Skyrim, Oblivion, Morrowind and other): atmospheric, magical, perfectly fit in the adventures, buttles, fantasy stories or horrors. I specialize in music for games in RPG/Action genres and always try to create an atmosphere that perfectly convey the game mood and generates new emotions. I try to make music unforgettable. A lot of attention to harmony and details helps to move us to other places, into magical worlds. My work was strongly influenced by classical music (especially orchestral and choral music). ~~~~~ DOWNLOAD ~~~~~ Download link and main website here: http://rpgmaker.net/games/5527/ ~~~~~ NEWS ~~~~~ Oct 1st, 2017: Version 2.0 is now available for download! Many improvements have been made and this will most likely be the final version I will ever release. Full details can be found on the newest blog entry here. ~~~~~ SUMMARY ~~~~~ Legends Of Illarion 2 is the long awaited prequel to the 2009 RM2K3 game Legends Of Illarion. The prequel takes place in ancient Illarion at the dawn of time, many centuries before the events of the first game. I consider it mostly to be an old school type of rpg reminiscent of FF6, Lufia 2, etc. You don't need to play LOI before playing LOI2. You can play either game before the other and there won't be too much spoilers involved. The first LOI contains a larger more diverse world with more interrelated story elements and characters, while LOI2 is a little easier, smaller, and more straight forward than the first game. ~~~~~ STORY ~~~~~ "We are but mortals who cannot fathom the true nature of the gods. Whether they are kind and benevolent, or vengeful and angry, I cannot say. The only thing that is certain, is that their power is real, and we must always be wary..." The world of Illarion is at its infancy, having been created by the gods for only mere centuries. An Entity appears, born from the evil growing in the very hearts of mortals, bringing destruction and chaos to the realms. The gods await worthy heroes to appear and defeat the Entity. However, as time passes by, none step forth to save Illarion. In desperation, one goddess intervenes in mortal affairs, using deception to cause a group of mortals to begin a journey to defeat the Entity. But do they truly fight to save Illarion, or do they fight to fulfill their own selfish motives? As they squabble amongst themselves and get ever closer to the promised end of their journey, the gods play their cruel hand and begin to reveal their true intentions... ~~~~~ FEATURES ~~~~~ slightly modified battle/menu systems based on 3rd party scripts (mostly Yanfly) touch encounter battle system voice clips for character skills skill points system and many custom battle skills characters with multiple skill sets depending on weapons equipped many interesting puzzles (all of which are skippable) simple gathering/crafting system (blacksmithing, potion making, etc) diverse environments inhabited by various races. using "emotes" to describe character actions approximately 15 hours of gameplay ~~~~~ VIDEO ~~~~~ Gameplay Footage:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7txyxkko8_g ~~~~~ SCREENSHOTS ~~~~~ ~~~~~ CHARACTERS ~~~~~ Legends Of Illarion 2 features an ensemble cast: http://rpgmaker.net/games/5527/characters1/ ~~~~~ CREDITS ~~~~~ Created by Dyluck Created using RPG Maker VX Ace by Enterbrain None of the graphical or audio resources used belong to the creator of this game unless otherwise specificed. Since I have become a bit more serious about making an actual game I might as well explain a bit about what I intend to do with it. So, here are my current plans about what I am doing. First what I have already done: I have a pretty okay random dungeon generator script and several existing dungeon 'themes' which all look a fair bit distinct and decorative. I have a basic roguelike combat system in place. The kinks need to be worked out, but it works. For a one actor party anyway. I have a inventory system with features such as equipment enchantment and roguelike style item identification. A fair bit of different monsters, skills, and items. Here is some stuff I am going to need to do: Right now the only thing the player can really do is roguelike-style bump attacks. I need to redesign the menus/interface to allow for skills and items to be selected and targeted. Monsters chose skills from an enemy moves list, but I may need to think more about how I choose skills and how range works. Perhaps I should use visible projectiles even? Rebalance the hell out of everything. Here is some stuff I may or may not do: Add support for multiple party members. I have been trying to write stuff in a manner so this is possible, but I may need to totally rewrite how I handle inputs if I want to allow the ability to take full control of the party (which if I am adding party members at all, I absolutely do). You might notice I haven't mentioned much about the story/setting yet. Partly because I want to get the full gameplay system worked out before I bother that much, but also party because I am still not sure about some of the details yet. That it will be heavily based on lots of the things I have said about fairies over the years here is not in question. The setting will definitely be fairyland... or a fairyland anyway. Perhaps more then one. The simplest basic plot outline I have in mind probobly is that the player character is a human who was abducted by fairies and perhaps transformed into a fairy. I might want to allow the player to create a character, but that might be tricky to do in way I am happy with. If I can get one of those visual equip script things working, perhaps I will use that to let you choose what the player looks like. Perhaps I could even have transformations and stuff. It might be fun to make it a bit like Corruption of Champions actually. <3 I mean not necessarily the naughty stuff (though I would be tempted), but the way items can change your body parts. And hey, mutation is a thing in some roguelikes anyway. But it would probobly be a lot easier if I just used a set character, at least for now. Right now the one delving in those dwimmery dungeons is me! Kayzee the fairy! Hehe... I am not sure I want to be the main character though. I think if I show up I am much more suited to be a sort of trickster mentor who helps guide the main character. Though I could also tell my own story, it might be interesting to tell how I became a fairy in the first place, if a bit embarrassing. -
One thing that I haven't been very shy about admitting is even at my most active I have never been that serious about game development here. I like to code neat scripts sometimes yes, and I do like to experiment, and I love to discuss and theorize, but sitting down and actually trying to make a real game by myself always struck me as kind of too much work for me. Mostly probobly just cause I am lazy, but even so when it comes right down to it I am not sure I ever had a really good solid idea for one. Oh don't get me wrong, I have plenty of ideas that I think are neat, but most of them are either random mishmashes of ideas that don't fit together in any real way or are just too overly ambitious to really get anywhere on. Every once and a while I have this 'big project' I want to work on but don;t end up really doing much with. The one time I tried to team up with some other people didn't turn out that well and I am not sure I am cut out for teamwork. That being said, I still have been ever so slowly chipping away at my own little block of stone. For all the years I have been on this site I have maintained a RPG Maker VX Ace project that I occasionally fiddle with, adding more and more experiments and random ideas to. It's more of my own personal script testing bed then anything else. I know I probobly should have moved on to MV ages ago but... there is just so much I have done with VX Ace! And bit by bit I think it's starting to pay off. It's still a mess of experiments without much underlying theme or idea behind it, but I am slowly seeing more and more a shape emerge that I might be able to refine. One might remember my old dungeon demo thing. I have added a ton to the scripts there since I bothered to update it, and it seems like I added another ton jut with in the lat few months. I just more or less managed to finally get a roguelike-style battle system (or as I like to call it a 'one-step tactical battle system', since it's basically like a tactical RPG battle system only things can only move one step per turn, or one could think of it as a 'turn-based ABS' perhaps if that idea doesn't make your head explode) working properly. Now I have wanted to do a proper roguelike for a while, and I basically have all the major parts needed to make one from the random dungeons to even the item identification thing. I have a number of interesting tweaks to the generator to produce what may be some of the most pretty dungeons I have seen from similar style dungeon generators, and a number of dungeon types already done. I have a fair variety of different critters too that move and behave in different ways. Imps that can fly over gaps, Sea creatures that can swim, Bats that can fly and move quickly but erratically, Spiders which are slow but can suddenly jump at their target, Ghosts which phase through walls, and so on. But if that were all I would still probobly end up with a bit of a disconnected mess of ideas. As much as I think gameplay is more important then story or presentation in games, I can't really deny the importance of theming at the very least. Just blindly programing in whatever idea I can think of without some overall hook to the design to tie it all together probobly will just leave me with what I have been doing for the last few years: Just throwing stuff into a pile and poking it to see what it does. Ah, but fortunately I do have the perfect thing to tie it all together I think, and I didn't even really have to go far to find it! Just look at all the stuff I have been telling people about fairies over the time I have been here. A lot of the details could fit right in with a roguelike actually. Even my older abandoned team game had a big focus on that kind of thing. I even have a name picked out! How about "Dwimmerdelve: Adventures in a Phantasmagorical Fairyland"? What do you think?

Seriously Looking for Serious People to Help With Serious Project (Seriously) (Fantasy RPG)
gurisha posted a topic in Recruitment
(Title Unknown) Basic Rundown:: Game Engine:: RPG Maker MV Genre:: Fantasy, RPG, Comedy, Crushing Drama Release:: Commercial Graphic Style:: Two different styles to reflect the real world and the fantasy world. The "real world" will be shown through simple animations, with a semi-realistic art style. The "fantasy world" is to be portrayed in the traditional pixel art form. Synopsis:: A child is diagnosed with cancer. As his family crumbles around him with stress, fading hope and unanswered prayers, you, a young doctor, see the pain on this child's face every day. He knows nothing of what his illness is, only of what it's taking. He knows not that it's not his fault, but the impurity inside him. He needs a friend, but all he has is hurt. Until you. You begin to visit him, during your breaks at first, then after work. Soon enough you spend whole days with the young boy when most would be resting after the long week. You conjure up amazing tales of bravery in which both yourself and the boy fight monsters and save princesses, marrying them sometimes (often multiple, as bigamy means nothing to the child). The stories do nothing to help the child physically. He grows weaker with every day. But every once in a while, when the day has been saved once again, you see a smile on that young boy's face, and you know that this whole thing is worth it. One day you know you won't be able to go into that room, and you won't be able to recite another story, and you won't be able to see that smile again. It'll kill you, but you tried your hardest up to that point. Wherever that child is, he'll remember everything, especially the young doctor who took what little time they had and spent it making this broken child whole once more. The Amazing People I Need:: Writers:: The focus of this game is the relationship between the doctor and sick child. While much of the game will take place in a hyper-fantastical world where there are no serious limits, the relationship between the protagonists needs to be grounded in reality. I need a writer (or a few) that would be able to switch between the hyper-fantasy and the real world to give the player a sense of the world these two come from, that the fantasy is an escape, but one that can't be simply used as a cover-up. Concept Artist:: I need someone, or a few people, with the creativity to design environments, creatures and concept images for the rest of the team to build off. Sound Effects Design:: A game wouldn't be complete without sound effects. I need someone talented to create the physical environment of the game through the use of ambient effects, as well as active effects (opening of doors, cries of mystical dragons, etc.). "Real World":: Artists/Animators Much of the style of the real world is less blatantly cartoon/pixel art styled as the fantasy world. So I'm looking for people whose prominent style, or are proficient, in this area. Furthermore, as the game progresses, the use of grey and black tones will be especially important. Animation is not a necessity, but would bring an extra dynamic to the game. "Fantasy World":: Pixel Artists (Characters/Tilesets/etc) The fantasy world is very much a pixel world, full of color, happiness, hope, and life. I need creative pixel artists to not only portray this in the world, but to also create unique environments for the characters, through the use of art. Still Artists/Animators Cut-scenes within the fantasy world would use a similar pixel style to the game-play. Again, this will also be brightly colored and innocent. As with the real world, animation would only bring an extra dynamic to the game and is not a necessity. Scripter For the full game to stand out, I need someone to find/create the necessary scripts to have the game function to its best possible potential. Eventers Sometimes we can't always find that event solution to a certain problem, so more than one eventer would be useful so that we don't get too crazy stuck with a problem. Housekeeping:: Compensation:: "I never carry a wallet while I'm working; ruins the lines of my suit... But how about a crisp high-five?" - Deadpool Of course, I'd totally credit you in the final product, and if it makes money there's that sweet revenue share! (which would then have to be discussed). And I can always help with a project of yours! Other than having this wonderful face, I'm a great composer~ Communication:: Yes. Probably through Discord, e-mail, and PMs. I do pay attention to my messages! There'll also likely be a google drive/docs things going for notes and file sharing. If you wanna help, let me know! I'll pay attention to all my PMs. Or e-mail that works too~ TransitionDivided@Outlook.com- 2 replies

It's been some time since I started this topic and I admit it has been a learning process, as I learn to organize everything in a manner that everyone can find. I hope to get everything moved and the topic prettied up in the next couple of days, though, shopping day is fast approaching (Thursday), so whatever I don't have done will have to wait until Saturday. I hope to get it done today and even more added, so let's hope. P.S. Let me know if these topic headers are too big, as this is the first time "I" created any. COMMON SENSE RULE: If you can't use something commercial, I will tell you that you can only use it in a free game. If the pattern or tile I use is only in rpg maker vx ace, you can only use it in rpg maker vx ace. Otherwise, all tiles have the ability to be used in a commercial or free game. I don't do this for money as it is something I enjoy, but if you do create a commercial game, could I have a free copy? Hey, I am a gamer and a girl, we look for bargains any place we can. TALES OF BOREDOM A lazy dude is trying to escape from his lazy habits of procrastinating and sleeping throughout the day. So one day, he will beat up random monsters residing in a cave to stay a little less sleepy and lazy. Along with some random people from his town. Characters: You play as Dude, the master of laziness. Two other random people are playable, also. Screenshots: DOWNLOAD HERE (completed game) Features: -No plot, no endings, no proper story, you just play as a random, lazy dude. -Explore a tiny area around you, interact with the objects and random things. -Randomized encounters so you can beat up as much monsters as you like. -Everything random! Also read the text file in the game's folder for more info. Notes: This game was created in approximately 3 days and was intended to be a private game I've made to pass my time when I'm feeling unmotivated, bored (it happens ALL the time though XD) because playing something that I made makes me a little happy - but later on, I've decided to share this publicly here just in case if someone would like to play it. Also, I'll make this clear - there is NO PROPER STRATEGY/BALANCE BETWEEN THINGS because I didn't wanted to spend too much time on balancing this little game, due to having a main project to work on. Also, expect a lot of typos and random stuff in this game - if you found a bug in this game, you can mention it~ And if you liked this tiny game - or hated it (I won't mind, it's very reasonable anyway) please let me know Other contact methods are included in the text file found in game's folder. Thanks <3 Credits:

Warning: This game contains fantasy violence and mild language. The Cruxis Sword Relive the days of classic rpgs such as final fantasy and dragon quest with this faithful recreation of what a traditional rpg is all about! Set in its own world with its own Lore, The Cruxis Sword will make you think that you were playing an rpg on the SNES. Genre: Traditional RPG Status: The game in its entirety is complete from start to finish. This game includes a playable demo that should last players between 30-60 minutes, depending on how they want to play. It also includes 2 challenging bosses at the end. Both the full game and the demo can be found here: https://tropical8878.itch.io/the-cruxis-sword The full game is $4 and should last between 7-10 hours, depending on how you play. Setting: Ooroborys is a world were humans and beings called essences live side by side. No one knows the orgins of the essences (most don't even believe they exist), but researchers know that they have something to do with the Cruxis sword (known as the crystal sword to the humans). An evil essence is on the verge of awakening the last possessor of the Cruxis sword, an ancient human king named Demilos, whom wishes to put the entire world and its kingdoms under his rule. The planet (Ooroborys) considers Demilos a threat to its existence, so it has subtly chosen 4 humans to fight against this parasite (without their prior knowledge). You control our 4 heroes as they travel the world and its kingdoms, fighting to keep Demilos from awakening. Characters: Traiye: is an optimistic 16-year old boy from Ralin villiage, a small villiage in the Labimine forest. He made contact with the planet one day with his friend Primera at an Auroa (the games take on magical energy) deposit, giving both of them powerful latent aura's (the games take on magic). He can also be hard-headed and a little introvert with his feelings. Primera: is more on the pessimistic side, but she is still light hearted with a good attitude, even though she can be a little smart-alecky at times. She, like Traiye, made contact with the planet through an Auroa deposit and gained the ability to use her latent aura. Aalani: is a knight captain of the ancient Shandelean civilization. She was the person tasked with killing Demilos in the first place, but only managed to seal him in his own weapon. Upon hearing about the re-awakening process of Demilos in the future, she volunteered to be put to sleep until that time to warn the people of the present of Demilos' awakening. Kymshi: is a knight of the modern Shandelean military that assists our heroes under orders from the king of Shandel. Researchers have been experimenting on Kymshi using the latest techniques in Auroa developments, making him imperative to the team. Credits: I scoured the internet, looking for any and all the free for commercial use resources that I could find, so my list of credits is pretty long. These include graphic resources like tilesets, character sprites, window skins, battlers, and icons and music resourses. I made sure to credit everyone whose resources I used in a text file and the games ending credits. Graphics (tilesets) Enterbrain Mack Alaurable Indrah Liberty Kaz Aindra Evil Eagle Cait Ayene-chan magicredfox.deviantart.com candacis PandaMaru Metalraptor Palsa EraYachi Reives TheBigTricky HyperSnake22 GIMP Battlers: Michael Galefire Liberty Enterbrain Belzark Icons: Enterbrain XxJapoZeroxX Music: Aaron Krogh (http://www.gdunlimited.net/forums/topic/8865-free-music-resources-by-amkrogh89/) Audacity Sound Effects: Enterbrain Character Sprites: Enterbrain Soichi ( the Kingdom of The Rise and Fall Symbol: http://ameblo.jp/makapri/) Tokuro Chocolate Mint Tree (http://mintk.blog79.fc2.com/blog-entry-2.html) Window Skin: UncleSatan’s Features: - 7-10 hours of epic but old-school rpg gameplay. - Well designed, detailed boards give a sense of atmosphere to the game's 21 different locations. - Item and magic-based battle system offers plenty of room for articulate strategies, especially against the game's bossess. - Fast but strategic battles that play out in first person, ala Dragonquest, but with more flare. - Intriguing story line with its own lore (as in, not borrowed from other rpgs) and likeable characters. - Beautiful soundtrack Don't forget that you can grab the demo here: https://tropical8878.itch.io/the-cruxis-sword Currently, there are no known issues, but no one is perfect. Reporting found bugs and glitches is always appreciated.

Embers' Pyre Follow the journey of a rather unconventional hero and make choices along the road to influence Cendril's development and ending! Genre: Fantasy RPG Game Progression: ~ 25% Estimated playtime: ~ 4h Download current version here! Cendril wields the power of conjuring flames - a very useful power to have in a realm that is plagued by the threat of monsters. As an aspiring knight, Cendril joins the ranks of the Military and participates in the mandatory training camp, where the recruits are given tasks to complete in order to prove their worth. Completing these tasks would be a breeze for the young Mage - were it not for the fact that the knowledge of magic is strictly forbidden in the Kingdom of Rolantis. Rather, the fresh recruit is forced to blend in among the others, which proves to be quite difficult, as, apart from fire magic, Cendril possesses no martial prowess whatsoever. Still, that is a hurdle that Cendril is willing to overcome - not least because the Mage's reasons for joining the Military differ from that of the many recruits in the camp... But as the training progresses, Cendril is quickly entangled in happenings that are far more dangerous than those of an ordinary training camp... And the young Mage embraces that turn of events. After all, what better way to make a great impression than to overcome these dangers? Characters: Features: Screenshots: Credits:
