  1. Hi For those who have played the original Romancing Walker, a popular game developed by Flare on Rpg Maker 2000. I received permission many years ago to make a sequel to the project, albeit at the time I lost focus and abandoned the project. This year I started work on the sequel to realise my dream of expanding on this games universe. The original game had a lot of charm and managed to produce a very playable game with interesting concepts. I introduce to you Romancing Walker II. Sixty years have passed since the end of the original game. Ryle Laster and his companions are remembered throughout Factoria as heroes for defeating Chaos. Although the world has been at peace for so long, Chaos has found a way to return. You set out as a part-elf part-human martial artist, his name is Ryu and he has chosen to move to East Factoria, Lavas Town (Previously known as Lavas Ville) where is grand father resides. He sets out on an adventure to experience Factorian culture, food, meet people and make friends. Along the way he may find something more than friendship or may find himself going it alone, it all depends on the player's actions. There are tons of easter eggs for fans of the original. TileSets are by Inquisitor of RPG Palace (With additions from myself) CharSets are a combination of RTP (used sparingly) and Sithjester (With modifications by myself) New orchestral mp3 quality music from the original Romancing Walker soundtrack and music by Tanner *Will add other credits when i build the list properly I will add and update information when appropriate. Please check out the screenshots. Let me know what you think, I'd love to hear from any fans of the original game. Thanks Latest screenshots (01/01/22) (New Romance system, Quest system, Lighting, detailing, new areas and customised battle system) Older screenshots

    OTHER Astromid [demo]

=================================================== Astromid demo version RPG Maker 2003 Leagune: Eng 23,6 MB DOWNLOAD: https://rubin-rm.itch.io/astromid =================================================== Hello. Today I am sharing a demo of my next game titled Astromid. On which I have been working for some time. This title. completely presents itself in the style of GBS, where I wanted to bring the game closer, so that it looks like those that were released on consoles in the good old days. An astronaut, sent by Earth's space station. traverses the galactic paths to find a planet. On which, in the future it will be possible for humans to settle there, in order to get rid of the corporate companies that have taken control of Earth. In the course of the journey, unfortunately, he runs into a rain of asteroids, destroying the Conestoga 1620 rocket. He is forced to land on the nearest planet. Having no idea what awaits him on it. An astronaut, he must find the space station to regain communication with earth, and collect parts of the crashed ship in order to repair it and get off the unknown planet. The game is divided into different types of challenges, each of which has several arenas to go through: [1.] Avoiding enemies and collecting points. [2.] Places that can be entered only once, with no way to return. [3.] Moving boxes to designated locations (random boxes to a random location and specific boxes to a specific location). [4.] Collecting oxygen cylinders to survive to exit the underground. [5.] Skirmish with the Boss, consisting of three different phases during the skirmish. After passing all arenas - the player unlocks time trials. - Where he can pass all the arenas from scratch, except that instead of earning a certain number of points, he must fit in time by completing the arena. To make the gameplay not boring. I introduced skins that will allow you to change the appearance of the player so that only one cosmonaut charset does not run. For each skin there are specific guidelines that must be met to use it. And you can check the whole list in a special "task log" in the game options. Tell me about any bugs or problems in the comments or report them to me by writing to rubin.maker@gmail.com , and I will fix them as soon as possible! https://rubin-rm.itch.io/astromid
  3. If you're not lazy, this is one of the game's limitations. To change the appearance of a characters I can only think of this approach. one of the plugins that I created to play in my game

    OTHER Ruby Arena

Ruby Arena is a text based roguelike game. Your main objective is to get bigger and stronger, equip yourself and prove yourself by competing in the arena. Climb the ranks of the Arena! Prove yourself worthy of the Ruby once and for all. The Beta version is now available, which means all core systems are completed. More content, formatting and stuff is now being added to the game. It is Now in a playable state with all the core stuff. At this stage of development updates are coming out very often. Currently I'm working on adding more Arena bosses and a few new areas to level up in. I'm always open to suggestions that anyone might have. There is still lots of ongoing balancing but things are pretty good now. The intention of this game of course is that it's supposed to be hard. There is still late and mid-late game balancing to work on. Note: for an ideal gaming experience, when the game opens, click on the top left corner of the console window to open a menu, and go to Properties. Click on the Font tab, set the font size larger (your preference) and text to bold. then maximize the window. The game will take care of these steps eventually. Screenshots of the game have been attached to the post for your convenience. You can download the game for free here: Ruby Arena (itch.io) The latest version is always uploaded there, and also on github here: Ruby Arena (github) Currently known bugs: Crash on battle complete -- this bug happens very rarely and is sometimes triggered if an enemy drops an item. This should not happen often. I have not been able to solve this bug yet. You will be naturally saving all the time due to the games inherent difficulty so this bug should not bother you too much. If you encounter any other bugs, you can either post them here on the forum or you can report them as an issue on Github. Including your debug.log and all your save files will be very helpful in diagnosing any bugs you might find. Of course, I'm always open to ideas for things to add to this game. As of posting this topic, Beta 1.7 is currently out. The game is getting pretty regular updates. The full changelog is visible on the github readme. Its also available on itch but it is chopped into different posts for each version. Looking forward to hear what you guys think of my game. Thanks for your time.
  5. (moh-nee-goh-tay Fantasy) AUTHOR: Bit Bros! Games GENRE: Old School RPG ENGINE: RPG Maker 2003 STATUS: Complete First beta in English coming soon! The beta will cover around the first 8 hours of the game and it'll be out in some weeks. But we need your help! We're not native speakers in English but we've put a lot of effort and literally our heart and soul (maybe not literally) on making and translating this project, so we'd greatly appreciate if any of you could help us proofread the game (especially if English is your first language). If you're up for it, please let us know! Update: Full version available! The full English version is available for download here! Thanks for your support! You can check our Facebook page here! (in Spanish) BitBros! Games.
  6. Hi everyone! I'm new on this forum, I just wanna show you what I'm workin' on till many years with rpgmaker2003. The game is almost complete, in few days I should be able to publish it hopefully Long story short, let me introduce you to: Synopsis: Madness Fantasy is the crazy story about five friends who end up facing a thousand vicissitudes to defeat a criminal gang by working undercover for the police. To do this they will have to face incredible situations, where they will appreciate the life and value of happy times. The game is made entirely by me in rpgmaker2003 and it will be available in english and italian. The story is long 27 chapters and the soundtrack is composed by 62 original songs. Promo trailer (game features): Story trailer (story and characters): Like GTA, there's a city map to explore, but you'll be allowed to freely steal vehicles and go everywhere you like! Basically you'll have to take on some missions which will lead you to many surreal adventures rich of minigames and dialogues. There also will be a lot of secondary quests too! While playing you'll have your position and your objectives under control in the game map anytime thanks to the GPS system. Through game menu you can access multiple options, for instance you can switch between FreeMode or Story and play the game as you want. You can also have access to Trophies, which are special "powers" you can use to customize the game (e.g. you can unlock the power to change the climate in FreeMode). Jackie, Max, Marv, Hank and Dex are the heroes of our story. One evening they decide to go to Oddcity to have fun, but during the event Hank meets a guy and here they get in troubles. There's a police raid and our heroes are taken to the police station and forced to work undercover to be able to infiltrate the Big I, the gangster organization that rules the town. I will show you more screenshots and explain more features in the next days... What do you think about it? It tooks me many years to develop it, I would really appreciate your opinion about it, thanks to all of you

    OTHER Dawn of Alcieste

Hello everyone, I'm Lucius Blank, and my brother and I want to introduce you to our story, Dawn of Alcieste. This game is being worked on RPG Maker 2003, I've used most of the rpg maker engines, but nothing beats the nostalgy that this retro engine brings. I have been using this engine since it came out back in 2003, and can confidentely say that I know how it works from A to Z, my specialty being spritting and programming, while my brother has the best story telling. Our main language is not english, however we decided to use it as the game language to reach as many people as possible, so you may catch some weird sounding phrases, if you do, please let us know, feedback is always appreciated. Without further ado this is the game premise: This story takes place in the continent of Alcieste, compossed by the kingdoms of Elgasta, Phyris, Praekopis, Kriegerheim and Sadhal, and surrounded by the called barbarian islands. The continent geography defines the borders between the kingoms, and it ranges from the arid deserts in Sadhal to the snowy mountain ranges in Kriegerheim. The continent is populated by humans, but a rich folklore and legends of intelligent creatures and monsters can be found everywhere, with many claiming evidence of the existence of said creatures, however, dangerous monsters can be found all around the continent, and several precautions must be taken by anyone attempting to travel around. A long lasting peace has been achieved after years of war, but as no treaty has been signed constant tensions keep everyone on their toes, with several outposts located all across the kingdoms to protect their borders. Esgalta, located in the middle of continent, has been under the rule of the Valerius dynasty, and poses the biggest military pressence througout the continent. In the arid southern region is Sadhal, a rich country where merchants thrive, but such riches bring trouble, as the Sadhal military is constantly busy fending off pirates who wish to steal the merchants hard earned coin. Kriegerheim to the northwest is located on what is known as the frozen throne, a dangerous mountain range covered in ice and snow, craddle to powerful warriors devoted to their god of war, Arlan. Bordering with Kriegerheim and Esgalta is Praekopis, famous for the scholars and engineers born there, their military may not be as strong, but their powerful contraptions make up for their lack of army. And lastly Phyris to the northeast, a small country with a dense forest surrounded by mystery, not much is known about the secrets lying deep in Phyris forest, and many legends are told of it. The story begins right after Esgalta declares war on the other four kingdoms, and with an unprecedented army conquered the continent in their war of unification, forming what is now known as the Esgaltian empire under emperor Beadurinc Valerius. This swift conquest hs brought economic problems and political strife to the continent, as numerous factions try to oppose their new rulers, the militaristic empire tightens it's iron grip on the rebels. A large number of people are constantly conscripted into service to fuel the empire needs of man power, for some this brings opportunity, and others just call it opression. One of such people is Vanhir, a young man with a troubled past joining the esgaltian army to find purpose, another gear on the ever moving clockwork of destiny, he is unaware of the role that destiny has chosen for him. This is the game we are working on, we want to tell a story, and we want you to be our audience. There will be adventure, betrayal, laughs and anger, on this story rich RPG. The game. As mentioned earlier, we want to keep the game as retro as possible, and even though we know how to make SBP, we have decided to exploit the RM2k3 turn based engine to the max. Here are some screens for the battle system: We are also trying to use the engine to the limit, by making use of parallaxing, to bring the most of our beloved mac & blue tilesets! And what is an adventure without puzzles? We are avid RPG players and know that players enjoy a challenge! And most importantly, we consider story the most important part of an RPG, we want to steer away from cliches and move on with lore, plot, subplot and character development, we aim to create memorable characters that no matter if they are protagonists or antagonists, one can sympathize with them. Credits Enterbrain and Kadokawa games for their engines and assets that make this project possible YouFulca (Wingless Seraph) for his great contribution to the music Lucius Blank (Me) Alejandro (My brother) We would love some feedback and ideas regarding our project, we will be releasing a Demo soon and we want to test the reception! Cheers!

  9. The Prologue of my epic RPG, \\\GIFT OF HEAVEN/// is now available for free on the RPG Maker Fes 3DS App! You can find it by searching on the app for my nickname, O.M. Hawk. Check out the Prologue Launch Trailer: also, I made a weird and wacky 43 minute promotional short film called Symphonia Anathema, which tells you about the background lore and some of the themes of the story: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pBxoP0wyWis \\\GIFT OF HEAVEN/// is an apocalyptic fable about the eternal quest for utopia. World Emperor Machelvis, the greatest hero of all time, finds himself powerless to conquer the evil inherent in empire itself. While feigning devotion to the new Worldfaith which he himself created, Machelvis secretly immerses himself in forbidden occult lore, under the guidance of the Last Archaic Vampire, Geba Telgerin. Together they pursue the impossible, believing themselves to be guided by Sovereign Forces... they seek to unite Heaven with Earth. But the Dread Wizard Kilboz has other plans: if he can summon the Black Hole Sun, the whole world will be destroyed, and all the sweetest dreams would be in vain. \\\GIFT OF HEAVEN/// is an oldschool JRPG similar to the old Final Fantasy games, with random encounters and turn based combat. I have tried to reduce the amount of repetition in all aspects of the game compared to older JRPGs, and I also tried to make the combat more difficult and strategic. This prologue is short, only about 3 hours of gameplay. But I actually put hundreds of hours of work into it. And I have \\\GIFT OF HEAVEN/// tattooed on my arm. And I'm paying 250 dollars per month to advertise this free game on the Easy Allies podcast Frame Trap. So, it's pretty serious! I am fully committed to finishing the rest of the game, with the eventual goal of impressing enough people that I could get enough Patreon funding to quit my day job and thus have enough time to make original graphics and music for my second game (most likely using a PC version of RPG Maker). At this stage, I'm basically just trying to get noticed and earn respect. I'm really excited to hear what people think of my Prologue. Are the jokes funny? Did you get all my references? How brutal is the combat in the dungeon? I'm a gigantic RPG nerd, so I'm hoping we can really get into the nitty gritty!
  10. Latest Version: Download Version 0.745 Walkthrough: (sorry, no walkthrough yet!) Saves from previous versions will not work with version 0.74 due to new scripts that were added. Sorry! I am leaving the following for future versions, as saves should be compatible going forward. Transfer Saved Games: You can copy an old saved game from the game's folder and pop it in the new folder. (Will not transfer some things and some events might respawn). Subscribe to my Patreon to help me commission more art, animations, and lots of other enhancements that will help improve the quality of FSA. I also provide weekly updates at my Patreon on what I'm currently working on. My Patreon Page The Fairy, The Succubus, and The Abyss Seventy years have passed since the War of the Purple Dragon. Peace reigns across the land. The few remaining monsters are content to remain in their dark caves and underground passages. Now, as past threats of evil fade away and become mere legends, dark forces stir in the depths. War is coming. The six kingdoms are not prepared. Features -Play as Sienna, a fairy living in seclusion, as she is captured and thrust into The Abyss, A place so Hellish that none have ever escaped. -Eat, drink, sleep, and bathe as enemies inflict wounds, infections, poison and disease. Struggle to survive in the harshest of environments, including hot and cold zones. -Defeat in the Abyss is not always the end. A large variety of monsters will eagerly rape Sienna if she falls in battle, inflicting trauma, disease, and possibly even pregnancy. -Give birth to ten different varieties of sprites, then nurse and feed them daily so they will age and grow. Equip them for a variety of bonuses. -Monsters die permanently (with few exceptions)! Kill all enemies in an area and solve the Light Lock to make the next time through a much safer experience. -A variety of boss fights that often play more like an action mini-game or puzzle. Don't forget to save first! Just one mistake here and these bosses will kill you. -Choose morality or partake in guilty pleasures. Sienna can be good or bad. The choice is yours. -The nice choice is not always the best choice. NPCs can sometimes die just by being in the wrong place at the wrong time. -At key points in the story you'll make final decisions that will permanently shape Sienna's character, changing her personality or giving her unique (and often useful) traits. Sienna's personality affects her behavior during sex, and later in the game Sienna will automatically make choices based on her personality. -During the story Sienna will give birth to six other fairies, and later on they'll join your party and help you fight. Your fairy children and other allies have personalities and battles of their own. At key points during the story you'll need to backtrack with them to discover hidden locations, events, and even bosses that only they can activate. Screenshots: Screenshot 1 (Warning!
