Hello (it's been such a good while since I've been here and always great to come back). I'm wondering if any of you have ideas of what assets people want or need for their projects and games? Perhaps it might be better to ask what do YOU want or need for your own project? That is tilesets sprites and items etc. Like are there any extra assets that you feel are missing from the base set and feel it would be nice to have? Or just any assets that you would like to see that maybe you haven't found anywhere before?

Hi there everyone, I'm Scythuz! You might already know me for my music and sound design work, I'm now branching out into doing pixel art too. Hiring me means bringing vibrancy to your game, whether that means recreating an existing style or creating something completely new. I will be charging $20 per hour for all of the services on offer in this shop, please bear in mind that you will (with very few exceptions) need to pay a minimum of $20 regardless of how small the work is. Making sure to order the right amount will be important if you want to get the best value for your money. Since the work will be done on an hourly basis, prices will depend on: size, detail, the amount of colours used and complexity. For example, a 16x16 monochrome sprite is going to cost a lot less than a 48x48 sprite. If you are unsure about anything, just ask. Here are some examples of what I can do, please feel free to send me a message if there's a type of asset you want that isn't listed here, I might still be able to do it. Tiles: Characters: Icons: Large Sprites: All payments will be made via paypal, in US Dollars or Pound Sterling. References are highly encouraged! You will be expected to have permission for any edits or recreations you want me to do for you. I reserve the right to refuse any commission I am not comfortable with.

Starcaller is a new Fantasy/sci-fi RPG adventure game focused on story and exploration. Browser based demo.. no downloads needed. All original pixel art and music score, and the rtp sound fx are being worked on as we speak to replace the default assets. We wanted to take a slightly different approach to retro RPG gaming. Exploration is split between side scrolling (for overworld exploration) and top down(for Dungeons and other instances). IT is set in the same universe as a previous release called Myrkvidr. Most of the graphical elements are done with Parallax layers as opposed to tilesets. The purpose of this early Demo is to gather feedback for improving the game going forward. please check it out and we hope you enjoy it! Play the demo here

Well, I’ve never posted anything before, so HELLO, my name is Ruedefaux, and I am an illustrator that works primarily in narrative illustration and character illustration, mostly my own. I try to work in and practice as many styles as I can to expand my knowledge, so there’s a few different things I can do. I mostly like working in digital painting as my main style of choice, but sometimes I like doing a more cartoony look when I want to kick back and relax. I’ve also been working on my skill in pixel art as of late and would like to maybe go somewhere with that sometime too. ALSO on the side I like to make music under the title “Lolistomp”. I mostly draw inspiration from rave genres (gabber, industrial, jumpstyle being the primary) and classic video games—so I have some 8bit themes in there as well. I make a lot of theme songs for my own characters as it helps me with illustration ideation. Hello everyone. I'm creating some more modernized/ Sci-Fi icons and hopefully going to move on to even larger pixel arts soon. Basically, I'm looking for feedback, and critique, as the title says. Currently, I only have a few icons for Ammo, and a couple of modernized grenades. Basically, every attack in my game that uses a gun, or skill that uses and item, will require ammo from the inventory. So. here we go. Mostly, my doubts involve lighting and shading... THESE ARE WORKS IN PROGRESS. PLEASE DO NOT USE, EDIT, OR SHARE outside of this thread. I Will be posting again when I am satisfied that they are ready to use. A bokuto, or wooden katana. Alien Mind Control (Take me to your refrigerator!!!) Energy Ammo Pack - the bottom is supposed to be a concave cube, whereas the top part is supposed to be cylindrical; silvered metal, with gold bands, and showing glowing red energy inside and at the connector tips up top.... but i'm not sure it doesn't just look flat. M84 - Flash bang. This one had so many sharp angles that i'm not sure you can even tell what it is, or if you can even make out the Pin... M67 Frag Grenade. The entire thing is OD green... so shading it to represent a light source is kind of difficult. A metal Bolt or Slug for a Rail Gun. Silvered metal with angled flanges coming off of the cylindrical core. M18 Smoke Grenade Pretty simple, but still kind of hard to draw the spoon on the side at the correct angles and to show the pull pin and the primer on top Handgun Ammo. Rifle Ammo Machine Gun Belt Shotgun shells in a woven fabric shell carrier That's all so far, and I will add more as i work through it, and need more icons to suit my game. Thoughts? (Once again, these are works in progress. PLEASE do not use for yourself just yet. I will release a new thread when I'm ready to share.)
