(Due to one reference to tobacco-usage and one brief reference to sex; other than that, it's pretty much PG). ​Game Title: Fate of Mystria (free to play) Abstract: Catruya Auroran, a young innkeeper, visits her boyfriend, Xhalite Elza, in the countryside of Nungia after months of not seeing him. After getting the approval of Xha's father, they agree to move to the large city of Port Cyros and get married. Unfortunately, Fate had other, far greater plans... Genre: Fantasy/RPG Game Progression: The game has just begun. I intend to make it pretty long. It'll be at least 6mo-1yr before it is complete (estimated). Recruitment: N/A at this time Average Demo Time: 20-30 minutes long. Story / Setting / Purpose: Fate of Mystria is set in the medieval fantasy realm of Mystria (Year 1106 of the 4th Age). It features four main characters: Catruya Auroran, Xhalite Elza, Xate Elza, and Tiel Kiri. They were brought together by Fate to fulfill their destiny- to become the reincarnations of the "White Wizards." The White Wizards were the First Mystrians. When they left the World after the First Age, discord soon followed. In the Second Age, turmoil rocked the landscape, as warring nations and corrupt men took control of the Birthground (Hallovania - where the White Wizards came into the world). This land, in the Third Age, after the conflicts stopped, was taken over by Zyaji Dakbrude for the last part of the 3rd Age. They say that the (now godhead of a relatively new religion) Queen of the Alhari slew him in the last battle of the Third Age, with her dying in the process and becoming a goddess- supposedly. Dark forces gather now in the land once known as Hallovania (now it is a territory called Yovania) that seek to cover the realm in eternal Night. The Sixth Year of the War between Nungia and Yovania has come. The once allied state of Fyera has turned on the Nungians with the election of their new chancellor. Now, Nungia fights a war on two fronts: Yovania to the West, Fyera to the North. Tiagor, the Island-Nation East of the coast of Nungia, has not yet made a move in the War. Our Heroes inevitably get dragged into this conflict as Fate has willed it... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is my first MV Project! I hope to learn a lot over the course of working on it! Also, yes, it is 100% free to play. This is not how I make money, so I am glad to make it free! Character Bios (in order of appearance in game): Catruya Auroran - The main character. She's in love with Xhalite. She was once an innkeeper, but when she met Xhalite, she soon gave that life up and ended up becoming involved in a massive quest spanning two continents. She is an immigrant from Fyera before the War began. Class: Mage Hometown: Zaverai, Fyera Likes: Mead Hates: when people get in her way Xhalite Elza - A kind and confident, maybe even foolish at times, young man with a talent for wielding a sword, and he has a good heart. Loves Catruya and wants to marry her. Class: Hero Hometown: Eshyr Rural Community, Nungia Likes: Mashed potatoes Hates: Spiders Xate Elza - (has a small part started in the demo) A student of Divinity and a scholar of ancient languages and history. Xate is Xhalite's sister. She came back from school only to leave home once more! Class: Priest Hometown: Eshyr Rural Community, Nungia Likes: The Goddess Keliqura Hates: Yovania Tiel Kiri - (hasn't appeared in the demo yet) A dragonkind (half-dragon soul) thief with good intentions that lead to illegal actions. Loves treasure and shiny things.     Exciting and New

    Hello everyone. I have been a member of the forums for about a month now. Just realized I needed to make a post here. I was using the forum to get answers to problems I was having in making my games. Most of them are solved thanks to the many that know the programs so well. I started using VX Ace in April 2016, spent two weeks using the default maps to make a game. Then a month debugging. Well I've played a few games there and the cheap ones are that because they are not so good. It would be too easy to make something better, and so far I have.     Simple? Menu Edit

    Hey there ^^; I hope what I'm asking for isn't too complicated. My maker is RPG Maker MV, so I'm asking for a plug in. ^^ I want to replace the basic Menu Actor Face Graphics to their side walking sprite (ie: animated).   14. How much "more" feasible would this be? I understand it would take time to create such a feature for RPG Maker MV, but what sort of time are we talking?.. Also, I've done a little research about this.... but people talk about "Having to have your PC on constantly." Is there not server rental possibility? ... But anyways, I know of people who are wanting to make an MMO using MV , so I looked in to it a little bit, being slightly experienced with VX ace.. and I managed to find that with Javascript introduced, it opens a lot of doors... So question, is can this be done? if so, what kind of time? and is anybody interested in such a challenge for a game being made for this feature..

    Energy Synthesis

    So I want to do something that seems very difficult to actually do since I have no idea what scripting would be involved. What I propose is that rooms with certain things have a flag that allows a gauge to fill. With the data stored in that gauge, you can use it to create an item. The way I imagine the actual synthesis, it's like a magic gauge, but instead of casting spells in battle, it creates items. Reason I want this: My main character in the game I am creating is a sentient plant-based creature. I want her to have a photosynthesis gauge. I want her to use this 'energy' collected in sunny areas to create healing items for other characters. I then plan to have further synthesis (which I plan to figure out with an already existing crafting plugin) where she can create 'sunstones' to fill the gauge even when it is dark. It can also be used in many other ways, by making the gauge variable by character (name/fill rate/color). ie say you have a vampire. Fix the flag to the use of 'blood' items, and you can make a 'resource' management type thing. If you want it to be like you have to be in water to fill a bottle or something, have the flag attach to a region, and have the gauge fill with 'water' to convert empty bottles to full bottles. However it's used, having a gauge fill with both item and area flag seems like an invaluable thing. If I can't figure out how to script/event this, I suppose I could have 'sun fonts' which supply 'sun energy' as an item which can then be used as a crafting item. I would, however, prefer it to be an automatic gauge-based thing. It makes more conceptual sense to me.

I was just wondering if it'd be worth upgrading to RPG Maker MV, and if so, if the work I've done for my game in RPG Maker VX Ace would at all carry over to the new program?
