Title: Aussenseiter Genre: Action RPG Engine : RPG Maker VX Ace Platform :PC INTRODUCTION Idea for Aussenseiter came when I have difficulty when making another game, the reason is to much content that I need to make, especially database and resource. One day in a sacred place an idea came up, why not making simple game? Without epic story and minimal feature. Thus Aussenseiter was born. STORY Story in Aussenseiter revolve around Rud journey to find a Grimoire. Like the title Aussenseiter / Outsider. At first Rud is only a spectator in every problem that appear but slowly he was dragged inside and at the end he is forced to solve it. This time Rud visiting his old friend place, he didn't know there is a conflict started between feudal lord and his people. CHARACTERS Rud The only playable character in Aussenseiter, Rud is on journey to many place to find a Grimoire which he belive able to fix his body. In the battle Rud use bare hand martial art, he also can use Rune Gauntlet to use magic to strenghen his attack. Yohn This woman lover is Rud partner on his journey. Rossie Daughter of the Grimore owner, Rud promise him to take care of her when she still a kid. But he is forced to leaved her because a certain circumstanced. Extra Character = Zest Leine GAMEPLAY Battle on ASR is inspried from Y's Series, that why I design the game to have fastpace battle and full of combo. Because I using 3D sprite I have no problem to create many different movement sprite. ABS system is created by Victor_sant and improved with Theolized For Exploration ASR use fast travel system, where player can change their location by choosing it. In his ongoing quest to find the best and most awesome way to test his music Devion has build an amazing sound-test simulator! With only a few more hours to go before the release party for his next album starts, the guys are about to test the simulator... So... what is this about you wonder? Well let me put it like this. For my 2nd 8bit music album I wanted to create something that would be added to the album itself so... after some brainstorming with Devion we came up with an idea of an 8bit studio. To spice up the experience I decided to add a *small* rpg game and use all the songs from the album in order to *test* them in a gameplay environment. To complete the experience and to be able to make the album itself interactive I also added the Audio Lounge where the user (after finishing the game) can listen to all the songs. This is the sequel to Eternal Destiny. If you haven’t played the first game you might want to, so that you would understand this one a little easier. -Prologue- One hundred years ago a young prince named Sengal saved the world from a demon who had possessed his brother. He married Alya and so far they had gotten along without a problem. Their marriage wasn't perfect but it was good enough for them. However Sengal was a dragon Alya was human. Alya eventually grew old and later died. Sengal eventually met a witch named Kayla who said she could bring Alya back to life. However the witch tricked him and put a curse of immortality on him. Over the past centuries Sengal went insane and started to blame the humans for his curse. He became a tyrant along with his brother. -Main Story of Eternal Destiny 2- The city of Korsin now belongs to Queen Adaline and her husband King Lexxion. Their son Prince Jason is now eighteen years old. However he is not very responsible. Once he finds out that the world is in danger of another war, he feels locked in not wanting to be anyone’s hero. So begins an unwanted journey to save the world once again. Here is a video link of the game: Characters: Jason Elrod Age: 18 Profile: Jason is the Prince of Korsin City. However is very irresponsible and doesn’t seem to care about what is important. He likes to read and hates it when anyone annoys him or teases him, even his friends. Once he finds out he has to save the world from Sengal, his reaction is like; “Really, do I have too.†Chris Auron Age: 17 Profile: Chris is Jason’s best friend. He is always trying to get to Jason to care more about the important stuff and stop goofing around. He hates it when Jason or anyone doesn’t listen to him. However he seems to like to play card games. Louise Fara Age: 18 Profile: Louise is a girl that Jason met when he was a kid. She used to come over to the castle and play with him when they were kids. Jason really likes her and she seems to like him. She likes to go for walks around the forest but hates when people interfere with her daily activities. Devoid (Sorry for the lack of a pretty logo, For one, I'm terrible at making them, and the title is subject to change) -------- Story/Plot You awaken in a ruined, facility. You have no memory of how you got there or even the world you live in. Practically sewn into your off-hand is a strange "Gauntlet", you quickly learn that this Gauntlet cannot be removed from your arm and feels as if it's apart of you. It makes you feel stronger, and tougher than you were before, almost super human. Attached to the gauntlet is a metallic bracelet, one with three sockets (or Slots) carved into it. There you place Stones that grant the wearer unimaginable powers. The facility is very dangerous, and your first task is to escape to the outside. The world rests in an apocalyptic state and seems to revolve around "The Gauntlet" as you are not the only one who wears it. You must find out what caused this disaster and uncover the secrets hidden behind the Gauntlet and this oddly familiar World. Characters Screenshots ------- Features Strategic Turn-Based Combat : Enemies are powerful, and you can be as well depending on how you construct your character. There's an emphasis on weakness exploitation, along with exploitation of the game's systems themselves (I like that kind of thing) Choices : Choices are in the fore front when it comes to gameplay. You will be constantly placed in situations in which you make you are in charge of either your team's next move, or simple conversation that can effect the way characters respond to you. Lives are in Your Hands : Your decisions can determine the fate of a character. And by Fate I do not mean a finale in which the choices you made decide whether or not your crew makes it out alive. There is no black and white when it comes to choices here, if you do not take your role as a leader seriously, characters WILL die, and their deaths sway the story in new directions. It will absolutely be possible to finish the game with every character, and with none of them. (Dying in battle does not count, the reasoning behind this will be justified in the gameplay, the demo even ) Emphasis on Exploration : This world is completely new to you, it will not solely take place in a facility. Much of the game will be outdoors, exploring the barren city, along the way you may find hidden items, characters, backstory, and more. All exploration is up to the player, of course. Tools : Tools serve as equipment that help the player acquire most of the game's "secrets." Tools are equipped to your weapon slot and are tagged with [Tool] alongside their damage type, since Tools can also be used as weapons. Examples of tools would be a Screwdriver, Wrench or a Shovel. Some tools are common to the world, but others are more puzzling. 3 Slotted Gauntlet : This one's a bit larger - Credits This was fairly rushed. But I like typing so I'll for sure be editing the post as days go by. I hopefully will have another character or 2 to reveal in the coming days. -

Welcome to the official thread, for my new RPG game, Spirit's Of Time. This project has been worked on and off since 2008, and after countless restarts, storylines and switching computers, I'm finally in a position to try and make a full game, out of a storyline which has strong themes. I originally brought this to other communities as a game called 'Realms', which then evolved into 'Final Realm' - which was the reason this thread was initially titled as such. The 'Final Realm' project went on for a couple of years, and realistically looking back became a training exercise for me, to improve my skills. Final Realm, eventually became obsolete due to a computer change, although I still had copies of the map files, which was what I decided to take through to my next project; thus 'Spirit's of Time' was born. This project has been completely run by me, however help has been given by people of this community - Rivaan and Apoc, are the people I need to thank for this, as without you my character designs wouldn't of improved. Anyway I hope to get assistance to what I hope and believe will turn out to be a great game for the community to enjoy; and then perhaps have an ongoing series, if the game meets consumer needs. Working by myself up until this point has been rather tedious and slow; and due to my lacking ability in certain areas of Rpg design; only certain parts of the game have progressed. Thanks for reading through this Introduction, and I hope that you will continue reading and give me feedback upon my ideas and game overall. 3/11/2013 - Overhauled Thread. This storyline is split into three main parts, The World Of Eraeta (E-ray-ta), The Spiritus War (Spirit-us) and the Main Storyline, the latter of which you will be experiencing through playing the game. The world of Eraeta is made up of three continents - one in the east, one in the west and one covering both the northern and southern hemisphere. The continent of Valuria had most of the landmass which was inhabitable, as they had conquered the other areas that existed in Eraeta. This era of peace; lasted for many decades. More and more settlements and villages were built on the continents of Valuria and Meludia, and races were brought together by commerce and friendships were forged between waring settlements. Eraeta's history is both mostly known, it is said a Nomadic race settled here came from another world after it was destroyed by meteors; the race (Seres (Ce-ris)) couldn't acclimatise to the environment of Eraeta at the time, and went underground; which resulted into racial subgroups of Fairis and Nekosa. Some stayed above surface, building contraptions which have been lost to time; ancient illustrations depict the evolution of the Seres who lived above ground, turning into monsters. After some time the Seres, stumbled across other Nomadic groups - which have evolved naturally on Eraeta, who had a natural affinity with time - these people were known as the Aethiris, which were split into three sub-groups - Elvern,Humae and Dwarfins. Friendships grew between these two races, resulting in more and more races, which eventually populated the world of Eraeta. The originally lines of Seres and Aetheris eventually died out; with the blood of these ancient folk dwindling with the generations that followed. The atmosphere on Eraeta eventually became stable enough to sustain life on it's surface. Eraeta, began to run out of natural resources - alternatives were tried, but none released enough energy to supply the world with power . The line of Seres, began to run experiments on their fellow Aetheris due to their connections with time. They used their life energy to create power, for the people continue living. Many people thought that this was abominable and that they would rather die then use someone else's life to keep themselves alive. This caused uprising within both Valuria and Meludia, with the Seres and Aetheris eventually splitting from the main continent of Arkadia; each locating to the other two continents - Valuria became the home of the Aetheris; with the sub-groups of Humae, Elvern and Nekosa inhabiting the continent. The Seres relocated to Meludia; with the sub-groups of Dwarfins and Fairis inhabiting Meludia. Thus the Spiritus War began. This war eventually became a war of magic and time; with the Seres using their magical powers, and the Aetheris using their control over time. Monuments were built to harness both the power of magic and time, and were used as beacons to rile the people of the warring nations, and force them into battle. Many people died over the course of the war, with no clear winner in sight. Eventually, a man by the name of Erasmus' Talen appeared out from beneath Eraeta's surface which was known as the Underground world of Teirm in which the Escarpa Troupe, was said to be working on ways of keeping Eraeta from plunging into destruction. Erasmus was claiming to have devised a way of using both time and magic in conjunction with each other to create infinite amounts of energy for the people of Eraeta to use. The future of Eraeta seemed sealed, and appeared to be everlasting. Erasmus' plan was to use time and magic to create ideals which could be thrown into the gates known as Memoris Gates. Many believed this was the solution to all of Eraeta's problems, and the Calm of Eternity was said to have began. A few months passed, and the Erasmus' findings eventually lead to destruction; his creation the Memoris Gate located in the Amser Tower, began to malfunction - magic and time seemingly vanished from the world and Eraeta was plunged into an era of darkness. Erasmus rushed to close the main portal, however the time-line of Eraeta began to leak into the present day. Erasmus' died that day, trying to prevent Eraeta's destruction. Monsters once again began to roam, rampaging across the land, leaving devastation in their wake; burning villages and towns, killing innocent people. Erasmus' attempt to improve life on Eraeta had ended in disaster. The war was over but Eraeta's future was unclear... The warring nations of Valuria and Meludia lay in tatters, the remaining groups moved back to Arkadia; people rebuilt their lives and Eraeta was seemingly heading towards a spiral of death, nothing could be done to save these people. People began to create resistances, and fought against the Kingdom of Arkadia in an attempt to get the King to do something, about their impending doom. Those who believed in Erasmus' and thought that the malfunction was purposely caused called themselves the Alliance, believing that the main problem lay with the King of Arkadia. Our story starts, with our protagonist Selene Sorrell, a leading general of the 12th Arkadian fleet; reporting for duty in the King's chambers. Selene Sorrell, is an orphan; purposely trained to be the best general that Arkadia has ever seen. Adopted by the King himself, Selene effectively became princess of Arkadia. At the age of 23, she became the leader of the 12th Arkadian fleet, a position only the best warriors can attain. He believes that an uprising is starting within the town of Archis, which lies on the ourskirts of the City of Arkadia - caused by a sub-group of The Alliance, who are known as F.A.T.E (Fighting Against Tyrants Everywhere) or Fate, as it was commonly known. They believe that the King has something to do with the destruction of Erasmus' Memoris Gate. FATE, have been fighting against Arkadia for many years; and are trying to depose the King and try and get Eraeta's future in the hands of people. Part of this group is none other then Helios Sorrell, our other protagonist - separated from Selene at birth, Helios resents everything to do with the Arkadian Empire, due to the death of his surrogate parents. Unknown to the pair, this meeting will change both of there lives.. And the future of Eraeta. Not all characters are mentioned below, this is done to keep plot points hidden. What is CSP? Character Stage Progression, is similar to how the Elder Scrolls level progression works, combined with Final Fantasy V's Job System. By reaching a certain level, a Characters Class will evolve to increase the attributes of the character who is currently attached to that class, for example - A Male Warrior, would get 500+ increase to HP, when upgrading to a Knight. The player will then have an option to change the character's class, to something else, or keep it the same, which allows for heavily customized attributes for each character, so it suits to the player's gameplay style. Elements Abstract: The world is broken and must be made whole again. Genre: It is RPG fantasy. Game Progression: If this thread gets approved, I can put up a demo very quickly. Recruitment: None for the moment but I am sure that will change. Story / Setting / Purpose: The story and setting are tied together. The main character arrives on the docks of Port Terack, disoriented to the point of not remembering why he is there in the first place. He has the option of being shown around town and then is set to his own devices. He will hear hints about how the world is not as it once was (from an earthlike world to an ocean one with just a couple of islands). The economy of the world is barter-based, no gold pieces here because no one could agree on a common currency plus the fact they once traded with a lot of different worlds. In the demo, the character will be able to go the abandoned mines, where he will find the first companion. At that point, they will find a boat which they can use to go to the other island. The other island has a tower with a basement. The basement has portals in it which will take them to different worlds. The demo will only allow them to go to the earth plane. They will come from a cavernous area to a desert. The player will be able to see and tour the desert but they will not be able to go into the cities/dungeons in that area. The plan (in a future demo) is once they solve the quests in the desert, the desert will appear in the ocean world("Wow, a whole continent just appeared out of nowhere!") "Eric": He is the one sent by the "voice" to save the world. He questions everything he sees and has a sense of humor. "Natalie:" She is the daughter of the assassin guild's leader. She has been forced to stay in the abandoned mines and guard them. Eric frees her. She is a brash young girl who refuses to take @#$% from anyone. "Voice": This is the working name of the person who mentally contacts the others from time to time. At first, he does small things to help but the others will realize he is ultimately the final villain they must face. There will two others who join Eric but I will talk about them once the demo is further along. Credits: I am using tiles from Mack, Thalon and Celianna...scripts from Vlue, Neon Black, Tsukihime, Syzu, Vlue, Nelderson, Woratana, Claimh, Ventwig, regendo, modern algebra, zeus, skyval, and Jet10985 Known Issues: Art/Mapping. I am not sure how much the player needs "pushed" to go to certain areas. For instance, did the player intuitively know to go the abandoned mines to get further in the game?...stuff like that. Not an issue but the game has a crafting system...as in you can't just buy stuff. You have to kill monsters, perform quests, go to the right gathering sections, or trade to get what they need in order to make weapons/armor/ and most items. Skills are learned via tutors. They don't get very many just from leveling. The player will see they get skill points, passive attribute points and attribute points. Secrets of Marizales Genre: Thriller/Horror/Adventure Story: The story is about Nate and Emily who lost their parents. They don't know that untill they received a weird letter from their parents where they say that they are from the Marizales family. Nate goes on adventure, while Emily gets captured by a strange man. You will be playing as Nate and Emily, to discover the family's situation, and their secrets. Characters: Nate: A 17 year old boy, who lost his parents when he was 3 years old, he was raised by strangers together with his sister, and left the house at an age of 15 years when he found out that they weren't his real parents. He's a really loud type, he's really secure. Emily: A 16 year old girl, lost her parents when she was 2 years old, she was raised by strangers together with her brother, and left the house at an age of 14 years when she found out that they weren't her real parents. She's a shy girl, who's insecure. Mom & Dad: The real parents of Nate and Emily, there isn't a lot of history about them. They died in an accident, when Nate was 3 years and Emily 2 years old. The name of the mother is Celia and the name of the father is Merlo. Surrogate Mom & Dad: These are Mary Jawlie, and Peter Felio, they are the surrogate parents of Nate and Emily, they don't know what happend to Nate's and Emily's parents, but they found them, when they were little. They raised the 2 kids as their kids, but the children left when they became teens, and when they knew that Mary and Peter weren't their real parents. Ultimate Awakening 2: Infinity RMVXACE: The Show Room Current Trailer: Story: A Boy with blue hair spawns in a dark background filled with small, dark, ominous, but cute creatures. His battle is almost over as he closes into a huge gate, sadly that gate has a trench full of the monsters Labeled,"Sokkaida". Can he make it out safely? That all depends on you... This game is created with RMVXACE but along with that, there are many cutscenes that involve my 3D animations and art. During combat you can even pull off 3D moves to help better the gameplay and get you out of tight spots during the game. You'll usually find skills like these lying around in the awakening skill tab during a boss fight. Example: Current Length: 1 hour I consider this a demo. Gamelan The Dark Fortress Genres: Roguelike, RPG, Fantasy Release Date: Cancelled Project --List of Tasks-- Locate Renvaine Slay Monsters Loot Treasure Chests Solve Puzzles Complete Quests --A Tale of Death-- The Kingdom of San'leon had been relatively peaceful for many long years but that changed once Renvaine tore through the north of the kingdom with his army, villages and towns were decimated and tens of thousands of people were slain mercilessly. The Dark Fortress, originally known as Kamicaran was once the bulwark defending the northern passage toward the capital city Ezengard, when Renvaine destroyed all the northern settlements he seized control of Kamicaran and slaughtered approximately half of the San'leon military in the process. After the events at Kamicaran nothing happened for a few years, the San'leon military recovered for the most part and attacked Kamicaran in an attempt to reclaim it, ultimately they failed and payed a high price once again, rumors spread that some of the military personnel involved in the attack were taken captive or that they are still fighting within Kamicaran. Hello all, new user with great ambitions, never seen before in this world. Today I'm presenting a very early build of Journey to Nowhere - an RPG focused on character-to-character relationships and quests, and less on combat (but not deprived of!) Intro/Story You're a young man who wakes up in front of a strange monument. You can't remember who you are, and so you wander. Story will more than likely follow a non-linear progression, as the young man travels around the world, each area he goes to having it's own story arch. Character Bios! You, the hero. You wake up with no recollection of your former self, and so go on adventures to find a new you. Innkeeper: Your first interaction. This man runs the inn with his daughter. The grave outside gives a foreboding feeling to his past. More to come o 3o Credits Only using default tiles and resources for now. (To be) Featured! Large open world with many sub-areas to spend time in. Quests! Lots of them! Go get a rope or marry a princess, whatever! Narrative! Hopefully there will be some. Arcina STORY A long time ago, in the Kingdom of Healing, there lived a Goddess of Light and Purity, Medinia. She built a world by the ideals of what she stood for, and under her rule, the earth flourished. Not all were happy with her rule, however. Morbus, the deity of Dark and Plague, gathered an army of shadows and challenged her power. All who fell behind his path of destruction lived in misery and sickness, and cried out for release. Seeing this, Medinia flew into a passionate rage. Gathering the whole of her powers, she forged the sword Arcina, and met Morbus on the battle field. They fought long and hard, but at last the power of the sword bested the dark lord, and sealed him away in the shadows he so adored. The battle done, Medinia became aware of her grave injuries.Tired and close to death, she placed Arcina in the depths of her temple, then retreated back to the Ethereal Plain to sleep until she could recover. She did not leave the world without safe guards, though. Should Morbus awake before herself, a spirit would choose a hero to fight in her staid. Centuries have passed, and most have forgotten the tale of Medinia and Morbus. However, in the little town of Medicine, a yearly festival to pray for the Goddess' swift recovery is in full swing. It is here our story begins. CHARACTER BIOS Hero (named by you) A young boy who lives with his uncle in the town of Medicine. Spends his days sleeping and shirking work, much to the chagrin of those around him. Cally The Mayor's daughter, and the hero's best friend. While she can be a bit pushy, she means well. Skilled at sewing and minor magic. Chicken (named by you) A grouchy chicken who constantly fights with Cally over best friend status with the hero. For someone who can only make chicken noises, he conveys his thoughts and emotions very well. May not be all he appears to be. ??? A mysterious man who kidnaps Cally. Claims to serve Morbus. CREDITS Some of the music and resources that I use may have been sitting on my laptop for quite some time, and, as a result, may go without credit. When the demo is released, if you see or hear anything that you recognize but isn't credited below, alert me immediately so that I can fix this! A sarcastic chicken. Recruiting: While I can make some pretty basic things by myself, having a small team would be nice. Should you be interested, I'm looking for: A Spriter- nothing too complicated. Some recoloring, a bit of outfit changing, a few extra poses, if you can manage An Eventer- I have a few ideas in mind, side-quests and the like, and having someone who can work on these things would be great. Knowledge of puzzle-making would be wonderful, but not mandatory A Script-Savvy-Brain-Person-Thing- I can modify scripts that need modifying pretty well, but if I had someone who could tell me exactly why that thing isn't working, that'd be stunning. I can't really offer benefits aside from a name in the credits of the game and the satisfaction of working on with a team for this, so if you're willing to help for those things only, then please contact me right here on the site~ I hope to organize this a bit better later. Introduction Soul Ember is a fantasy RPG with romance, tragedy, and deep character development. I've only been working on the project for about a month, but I'm making sure to spend a long time on the most important parts of the game: story, characters, and gameplay.
