Hello (it's been such a good while since I've been here and always great to come back). I'm wondering if any of you have ideas of what assets people want or need for their projects and games? Perhaps it might be better to ask what do YOU want or need for your own project? That is tilesets sprites and items etc. Like are there any extra assets that you feel are missing from the base set and feel it would be nice to have? Or just any assets that you would like to see that maybe you haven't found anywhere before?

Hello! In this thread I'll be sharing resources I create for practice. These are all free to use unless stated otherwise. Comments are welcome! I take commissions and request btw This set is inspired by Greenraven's Breeze Revolution Tilesets from back in the day (RMXP), I absolutely loved those and didn't see anything similar in RMMV so I decided to create them. By inspired, I simply mean used similar color palettes as that was what made Breeze special for me. Also tried to make a map mixing in some RTP stuff, and whaddaya know, the RTP house work beautifully with this tileset! This includes characters (prisoners, a guard, and a warden), animated computer consoles, music, and tilesets (all layers). It can be used for any purpose but is sized for RPG Maker MV. Hi there, In Ace, the dark blue transparent color was very convenient, but the white one is a pain (some tiles I can't even see!). Is there any easy way to change that color?

4/5/2017 - I've finally gotten some of these assets formatted for use with Yanfly's Grid Free Doodads plugin. The books aren't done yet, sorry, they're time consuming, but I'm getting there and will post them soon. I'll update the link when the books are ready. The books are included in the zip file, which is now updated, and reformatted to include subfolders for easier organization. So I'm starting a new project and I put in the Ancient Dungeons tiles to use, imported them. and then tried to set up a cliff. All went well until I tried to place a tree, which caused weird graphical glitches, like a tile was being shoved beneath it.. Around the corners of my cliff, there is the same tile being projected underneath it. While I can work around it for now, I would appreciate any help in solving the issue. I included a screenshot in case that helps.

Once again, I need help with my resources... So I found some tiles that I love, and I was so excited to use them since I've been looking for the perfect ones for so long. I put them into my graphics folder and start to create my map, but the tiles end up looking like this: As you can see I'm trying to use the grass. Can anyone tell me why this isn't working? I'm pretty sure it's only an issue with the ground tiles since the building, wall, A, B, and C tiles come out perfectly fine. If I have to edit them, could anyone help me out there...? I love using RPG Maker, but I hate dealing with resources haha I wish I could just stick to events/progressing the story. (The tiles are from here)

Well, I have spend weeks working on this game, and now I am playtesting from the beginning to make sure everything is in order and not I tried going up some stairs that I placed to keep going uphill and they are no longer passable. I checked the resources, I reset the tile to simple passable, I tried moving the stairs, and it seems impossible to go up! It was working fine a while back. I am not sure if using the same tiles for other maps affected it somehow, but it's so frustrating. aprob.bmp aprob2.bmp

Hello! Long story short, I'm in search of some nice desert tilesets. I had originally fell in love with Kaus' desert tiles, but seeing how that panned out... I'm looking for some replacements. One of the continents in my game is ~90% desert/savanna, so having a variety of tiles to use would be ideal. I'm using Ace, but I do also have XP, so either format should work. Thank you!

VX Ace - Unable to set 4-way passage for some tiles in the tileset

Hey, Starting out using this and I have not been able to find an answer for this in the documentation or elsewhere on the site. I am trying to edit the 4-way direction passage setting for tiles, but I am not able to edit them for some tiles in the tileset (I am using the standard tilesets that came with the program) If you look in the screenshot, you'll see that all the tiles near the top do not have the arrows and dots needed to specify 4-way passage for them, but the ones on the bottom do, and I can edit them just fine. I am not even able to click on or interact with the ones that do not have the dots/arrows in 4-way passage mode. I have marked them as walkable/passable tiles in the "Passage" setting, too, but I'm still not able to interact with them in 4-way mode. There are plenty of tiles what are set to impassable in "Passage" mode that I CAN edit in 4-way passage mode. What am I missing? Is this a bug? Any help is greatly appreciated because this is extremely frustrating.- 3 replies

[SOLVED] Can't place transparent tiles onto tables

Don't know if this is the right place to post this but uh.. anyway~ I'm having trouble in searching these tileset, does anyone know what this tileset is called or how to get a hold of it? I really need those type of buildings so bad All I know that it's used in xp.. but no luck, maybe I'm searching for the wrong word/phrase.. Perhaps a little help?

Howya lads, I've loaded a few pre-made maps to mess with and have noticed a significant difference between how they are already mapped and my edits. As you can see, in the default mapping the grass goes right to the edge, but when I try and lay down some grass of my own it is slightly different. Same with the swamp water. The merge with the wall below makes it look as though it's going under the wall. However mine ruins the perspective. Is there any way to get that seamless look with my own mapping? Hello! I'm looking for/requesting some 32x32 tiles of cauldrons, scales, and test tubes to use on the map, along with 24x24 icons of them for menu use. I've found some resources online, but none of them are very good; either the size is wrong and/or the quality is poor. If anybody has some decent ones to share or link, that'd be great, or if somebody wants to add some original resources, I (and I'm sure others) would appreciate it. These graphics seem like they should have gotten a bit more attention in a fantasy-setting RPG program...

Hi everyone, I'm planning to make a Horror RPG, relatet to Silent Hill. Therefor I need a good horror tileset. Something that looks like the Silent Hill fog world, dreary, grey and creepy, with things like run-down buildings, cracked asphalt, nailed and broken windows, ashes, abandoned cars and so on... And I need some textures that look like the otherworld, dark, cruel and terrifying as hell, containing rusty metal, ventilators, barbed wire, bodyparts, walls that look like human skin, several bloody objekts and stuff like that. I tried to add some pictures for those of you, who don't know Silent Hill, but it didn't work, so you'll have to use the links instead, sorry. Custom tilesets making 'holes' in floor? *RESOLVED*

*Apologies in advance if this doesn't go here, but I couldn't find another place in the forum to ask this* I recently downloaded a custom tileset pack. I also added the interior tileset that came with the game with the custom tileset so I could have flooring. When I added a chair from a custom tileset, it added the chair, but around the chair, it was see-through. Here is a picture of what it looks like Someone please tell me there is a solution to this. It is driving me absolutely mad -
Hello! I made a bedroom tileset that has RTP edits. It took me quite a while to make. It unfortunately has no original content (because I can't draw to save my life XD). I may make more tilesets later on, but for now I only have these. I hope you enjoy. So I was using this http://rmvxace.wikia.com/wiki/Combining_Tiles_in_Gimp in order to mash together two Inside A2 tilesets I want to use. I did make it taller than 512, because the other tileset would end way past that. Only once I imported it into the resources, it just shows the original A2 tiles, and not the added tiles.

Need more refinements but its almost done I've been working for 8 hours with this tileset from scratch, most of the lab apparatus is done just need some tiles, a few more tiny objects, windows and doors and its done! what do you think guys?
