I was wondering if anyone could help with this. I am using the mode 7 script as seen here: http://www.rgss-factory.net/2015/02/15/ace-mode-7-ace-v-1-7-2/ This script has an add-on for map rotation while in the air ship. I am wondering if it is possible to make the map rotation work at all times when a map is in mode 7, not just in the airship. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Would it be possible and good on the eyes to make a rpg maker vx ace game with parallax mapping using 3d images, im working on an entire chipset right now using only 3d models textured with Photoshop, and the maps are put together with gimp, anyways im just looking for opinions, for example do the realistic trees look okay or do the toon trees blend in better? Also I'm trying to figure out the best way to make these images where I can put them together seamlessly which is proving most difficult!

Just a simple question... Is it possible, and if it is, what is the easiest way to model and texture objects on a 3d modeling program such as anim8or or blender, then rendering them down to size and making sprite sheets and chip-sets out of them? I can model all day long and make it awesome, but pixel drawing just simply is not my thing! Any advice would be greatly appreciated! and sorry if this is not the right place to ask the question, my topics always get moved 0.0 so sorry! Edit: after about 4 hours of messing with this idea, i found you can use Photoshop, set the canvas to 32 x 32 then open a .obj file with textures and materials already added, and edit it directly from the Photoshop!! This makes me excited and opens up a whole new way for me to potentially make my own chip sets and events! --------------------------------------------------------------- Okay this is my first 'completed' object for events or a sprite sheet! Looking for opinions and advice, how does that look?

I would like to create my own videos to bring in as cutscenes for my game. Im looking for a program that will allow my to render my own 3d characters and animate as i please. To fully do what i want to accomplish i need to find one that allows full customization of characters so i can match the pictures and spritres of chacaters, abillity to animate said characters and a way to make backgrounds. Im currently looking at Maya LT but im not sure if it meets the requirements. I am a complete noob at animation so an easy to use program would be good but id rather have a program that does all i require than an amateur friendly program. Any suggestions would be a great help.

I know that there is basic Mode7 script out there, but I'm looking for more advanced thing, at least with heightmaps. Another feature I'd like to see is ability to set "regular tiles" to stand up instead of events only, so I won't have flat trees or houses. But that isn't as needed as heightmap functionality.

I'm new here as you can tell; I only have one post, lolz. I want to practice my drawing skills and I also want to practice computer graphical art in general and my major is in programming (new still) and basically, this is a huge practice field for me. Anyways, onto what I want to ask. First off, my want-to aim is at something like Corpse Party 2: Dead Patient. If that isn't possible or is possible but with a different program, feel free to show me the program, I would like to note it down for possible future use. Thirdly, I don't plan on easy-peasily making this seeing as I'm trying to practice three things here so don't worry about time on my hands. Can anyone give me a time estimation how long a project would take if the person was experienced at what they were doing? Lastly, thanks for reading for those who are reading.
