Abstract: [spoiler = "Abstract"] The game is about clicking and winning with good luck chuck. Im no good at abstracts. [/spoiler] Genre: [spoiler = "Genre"] It's a Homebrew DND clone. Definitely not Roguelike [/spoiler] Game Progression: [spoiler = "Game Progression"] So it's nearly a third finished for the demo release in spring. Other than that, I have no idea how to calculate the overall stuff. Like, It's not finished? [/spoiler] Story: [spoiler = "Story"] The player finds themselves in the Khimra territories, seeking to empower their people with the vast resources available to the chimera folk. The end goal being the claiming/reclaiming of Kowan territories, to which the Khimra have remained neutral over. The first task of gaining support from the Khimra is important to the rest of the story. From there the player is free to continue the major storyline, or do side quests, or anything common to DND. The player must learn the secrets of the Elvish folk in pairing with a Drac-folk. The end result being a clash of powers and a new world. [/spoiler] Setting: [spoiler = "Setting"] The universe is set on a fictional planet called Elohan . The game takes place on a continental region called M’rak. There are many races and factions in the region. Many different modes of magic are also available to all races some races granting bonuses. Many gods are also present in the world. [/spoiler] Character: So there will be two race options, and 4 class options. Kowan: Vowtuh [spoiler = "Vowtuh"] [/spoiler] Nijo: Bahtu [spoiler = "bahtu"] [/spoiler] Screenshots: [spoiler = "Screenshots"] from the development of the radial menu system for interactions. from the development of a fort and interiors of buildings. the first 6 races I drew and their realistic representations in the game. [/spoiler] Features: Mouse only controls. Rolls and checks on hopefully everything. Character customization. Somewhat advanced AI mechanics for what will feel like a real world. DND style combat. The ability to alter the world, within the confines of the game's rules.

Please keep in mind this project is only to its begining and still in development. World of Forestia is a Medieval-Fantastic RPG made with RPG Maker VX Ace. This game is currently in french but very soon will be translated in English. The aim of this game is to propose many ways to progress in the game, through explorations, fighting. WOF is a A-RPG which offers a huge fantastic world, full of dangerous creatures, epic battles, original characters and mysteries. Wou will explore unknown shores and take part to the most epic journey. Synopsis The story begins on the fertile lands of the Kingdom of Forestia. Surrounded by the Sea of Whispers, it is ruled by King Robert and divided into several regions. South, belonged to the King and his people, and the North, invaded by the Shadow Strength. They are dead armies born from corpses and have taken control of all the North. They rule it at their way: death, blood, sacrifice, fear… Fear is their most powerful weapon. So powerful than nobody, even the royal army, wants to care of them. Because of Men fear the Death, as usual. Now, the dead are rising, and march on the South while plundering villages and killing its residents. A few say they prepare a massive attack with one goal: to destroy the world of Men. But the most no longer care of the Shadow Strength, because those attacks were mastered… Until now! You enbody a young man, Tim, of a modest family, and leave home to realize your dream: take a journey, rise, and maybe enter in the very prestigious King’s Guard, which protect the King, the Council and closes. Informations Type: Adventure/A-RPG Software: VX Ace Director: Spywaretof Production: 2011-2013 Gameplay Note: The game uses the Jet Mouse System, so everything is available with mouse, but with keyboard too. 1) Hud Allows you to access to all menus (Statu, Inventory, Journal, Bestiary, Professions, Achievements, etc.), to use items on the map by left-clicking them. 2) Quests To become a true hero, you must accomplish great quests, and you will find much enough to prove your value. The universe of WOF is in permanent threat, and you have to defend those people against the Shadow Strength. The Quest NPC are easely recognizable by their icons upon them. 3) Bag You begin with a small bagpack (10 items, stackable). Bigger bags are foundable or buyable during the game. 4) Maps You may buy maps (Keeps, Castle, Regions, Villages, etc.) through your journey avoiding to lost you. 5) Experience You get Exp every time you kill a enemy, discover a new location or finish an objective/quest. Exp will depend on your level (like World of Warcraft). 6) Death When you die, you are risen next to the closest graveyard and you will get only half. 7) Achievements Just an other way to get extra rewards by accomplishing several actions (loot x enemy, open a chest, etc.). 8 ) Mini-map Like all the mini-map, but it shows you the NPC Quest, too. 9) NPC Informations When you get close to a NPC, an information comes with his function (trader, innkeeper, etc.). 10) Autosave The game saves automatically when you open up any of the menus. 11) Link Stone Allows you to quickly come back to the last know Inn. For that, you’ll have to link your Stone with the Innkeeper. There is a cool down of 10 minutes. 12) Fast travel By paying a master, you can fast travel everywhere on the known map. 13) Magic You must find Scrolls and its ingredients to create spells and use them. 14) Cool down There is a cool down of 10 minutes for the link stone, but also for spells (you can’t spam the spells, and avoid cheats). 15) Professions Alchemy, Herbalist and Miner are the 3 available professions in WOF: The first one allows creating potions by using plants that the second will have harvested. Miner extracts ores from veins. 16) Regeneration Based on the Will, the most you have, the fastest the regeneration is (HP, MP). 17) Attributes Each time you level up, they improve themselves. Here is all the attributes of Tim : Health Point (HP) / Magic Point (MP) / Strength (Str) / Physical defence (Phd) / Magical attack (Mat) / Magical defence (Mad) / Will (Wil) / Chance (Cha) 18 ) Bestiary Create with Events too and allows to get several informations about the monsters you will find. Solum / Solumsoft TM 2012 This series contains fictional violence. This series contains fictional politics. Homeward is a trilogy of fantasy chronicling the life events of an alchemist and his apprentice, a witch and her lover, and a phantom who has lived for a thousand years, and their travels and adventures to find where they belong and what their purpose is in the world. All installments revolve around the same overworld and its' inhabitants as the nations are torn from war, conspiracy and chaos. FEATURES MISC WORLD RECRUITMENT STAFF The details of these installments, including plot, backstory arcs and characters are subject to change until I'm completely comfortable with the finished result. Of course any noticed changes will be few and far between, nothing absolutely game-changing. After I've finished making any forms of revisions, I will remove this message from the thread. Much appreciation to any one in the community who takes an interest in this project compilation, as it is my first of many and also my first production. During the development phases I will slowly begin to add updates for each thread, including more in-depth details about the world and its' habitants as well as artifacts and lore from the separate installments. These releases will be non-commercial, which means free to play. If I have somehow misread the development post rules, do not have proper or detailed information, or have done something else wrong in this post, please alert me and I will tend to the error immediately. -Solum
