Hello! I'm pretty new to this community, and would love to get some feedback on my work! I just got around compiling Aseprite's new update, and was playing around with the Tilemap option. This was the result ! It's not quite polished, if someone is interested in actually using them, send me a PM and I'll fix any bugs in them; otherwise this was a one night thing and I'm not stayin' for breakfast ahah. It's 32x32px for some reason, so compatible with RMXP, VX and Ace. Since I test Autotiles in Tiled, that's the format I used. Here's a quick map supposed to showcase everything, it's not that good since I was just trying to put everything in, but oh well ahah: I was thinking about making a more polished and complete Art Pack in a style similar to this, well, maybe less saturated ahah. What do you think? I would love some feedback! Thanks ♥ FlameThrower

From the album: Plague's Doodles
A cute little character concept I just finished up. I'm uncertain if I may do some future tweaks on him. All depends on how things progress with other character and environment assets. Even if I do change him a bit down the line, I still really like his current form. If you're interested in checking out other art done by me, you can visit my website @plaguewolfen.com All the social media platforms I'm on are also listed at the bottom of the home page. Thanks for looking!- 11 comments

A cute little Day of the Dead owl I recently finished up. Thought it might be fun to share with everyone here. -
Been a long time since I came here and made any recent posts or updates. Almost forgot this place existed to be honest. O.o Decided it was about time I stopped in and posted some new art.

Hello hello. Figure'd I'd post my drawings here Why not, I mean? Anyway let's cut to the chase.... Currently I'm working on a particular style. the rules: 1. three colors ONLY (no blending) 2. two "colors" must be black and white. last color can be whatever (I prefer red) 3. black is the outline etc... those are the basics. There are a few other stylistic choices as well but I'm not good at explaining and this is a drawn art thread, so it's better to just look. We'll start with a background I'll have to redraw (/die) since I drew it a couple years ago, and it no longer works for me I am not good at backgrounds so it's good practice...I guess............. Now we'll move onto some characters. Whoo- This is Kiyo (ã‚ヨ). She is a youkai; which is um.. sort of hard to explain in English. They can be thought of as ghosts/spirits/monsters...etc. Here's the wiki since I'm unoriginal. What kind of youkai is she? ....that's a secret The rest of these characters are just regular humans. Well.. they aren't youkai. No descriptions right now maybe later when I'm less tired. Name: Raizou (full name: 神æ¥é›·é€ ) Name: Chihaya (full name: å¶å¾´åœ°éš¼) Name: Kintarou (full name: 照勤金太朗) Name: Ezra (full name: 装煙炎喇) Name: Mihoko (full name: 志民水帆å) I also have my uh.. "normal" style of drawing, which isn't so stylistic. Here's a picture I drew of my character in Final Fantasy XIV recently. (bard > all jobs) LOL @ me and being brief

I've observed a lot of great artists here who can draw perfectly without getting stuck, not sure if they were stuck when they get started with art; but I am deeply stuck and not sure where to get started with art. Drawing is my one of two interests and my wish and goal is to provide my skills to others for helping them to develop their projects and my skills can also help my own projects as well. However, if you're an artist and do digital art, I'd like to know: How did you started with art? Did you tried to build your own art style first, learned human/creature anatomy first, or something else? How much time you spend in practicing for drawing? In how many years/months you became a perfect artist? What program you do use? Mouse or Pen tablet? Your art style? Anime, realistic, chibi or any custom? (I'd also like to know what other drawing styles are called) These things can help me where to begin and how to begin a good artist, in case you'd like to know, here's some of my artistic details: Learning since 4 months Program Paint Tool SAI Art style Painterly style Tool Pen tablet Please feel free to correct me on anything I've mentioned. Thank you very much!

Hey there! Welcome to my tutorial. I've never made a tutorial before however I'v been asked to so I thought I'd take a crack at it! I want to let you know now, this tutorial is not 'how to draw exactly this exact girl' but more just a collection of advice and tips for the steps you take while you draw something like this. It's in my own style, so it may not fit everyone's, but I hope that you will learn something from it anyway! I used Easy Paint Tool SAI for the majority of this piece, however when I was finished with the coloring I moved it to Photoshop by saving it as a PSD. I didn't mention it in the tutorial so keep that in mind! Are you too lazy for all of this? CHAPTERS: Section 1: SKETCHING AND LINING Step 1 - 9 Section 2: COLORING THE FIGURE/HAIR Step 10 - 14 Section 3: CLOTHING AND COLORING Step 15 - 21 Section 4: BACKGROUND AND EFFECTS Step 22 - 26 SKETCHING AND LINING This section has extra tips. The other sections might not until later. COLORING THE FIGURE/HAIR CLOTHING AND COLORING BACKGROUND AND EFFECTS FIN!
