Okay! I've been meaning to do this at some point, so here it is, Dragon Legacy! Game Title: Dragon Legacy Genre: A Fantasy RPG mostly (Since it's still in progress, it's unsure if it will have a tinge of sci-fi in it) But it will have puzzles, eventually, you'll probably not see them until the big dungeons. XD Game Progression: *Halted for now due to possible chance of moving houses* Recruitment: Well, most of the content used in the game is all RTP. Since this game is in it's earliest form and a prototype. I might request aid for possible custom facesets and sprites to replace the defaults with at a later stage. Most of the tilesets will probably stay RTP but I have used some custom tilesets but I'll get to crediting them in the credits below. =) Story (Story has been corrected by Wraithblade =D) Character Bios: There are around 12 main characters (Three of them are optional that you can get through side quests and tell their own stories. =D) Screenshots: Credits Music (Again, since this a prototype and my first game, I have used music tracks from other games. I'll credit them all the same though. However, these tracks might change if or when I find custom ones to replace them. =3) RPG maker VX Ace Music RPG Maker VX DS Ace Music World Map (By Aaron Krogh) FF Prelude (Capella version from 'Final Fantasy ~ Pray) that's a music album btw ^^) Engraved History (From Atelier Iris II) Sleeping Forest (From Final Fantasy VII) Ikikaeri no ma (From Final Fantasy II) Sophie (From Tales of Graces F) Dogs on a Beach (From Phantasmagoria) My Enemy (By Aaron Krogh) Love from Afar (By Aaron Krogh) Rose Petals (By Aaron Krogh) Mysterious Friend (From Atelier Iris II) Exploration at the beach (From Atelier Iris II) Daiji na mono get (From Final Fantasy I) Crystal Fukkatsu (From Final Fantasy I) Lloyd's Theme (Tales of Symphonia) A Time Forgotten (By DesperateMeasurez) Requiem (From Alundra) Tilesets RPG Maker VX Ace tilesets RTP RPG Maker VX Ace tilesets add-ons (DS, Eastern & Futuristic) Ship tile set along with some misc pirate tilesets. (To be honest, I don't know who created these, I found these on a Japanese site for RPG maker Ace resources, if anyone can tell who they belong to, I would be most thankful, since I would like to credit the one who made the ship. =3 Finding Ship tile sets are a PAIN. XD Tile sets from Lunarea Tile sets by Ceilanna Facesets & Sprites/Battlers RPG Maker VX Ace RTP Faces and Sprites Facesets & Sprites from Avadan <3 Sprites from EBTsukuru (I hope I spelt that right) Face sets from momope8. <3 Face sets from Mr Dai <3 Face sets & Sprites from Chaos Portal. <3 Sprites & Battlers made by Kalez Door Sprites by Ceilanna Battle Transition Made by Mitchi.exe Scripts Yanfly's Engine, Message box, Slippery Tiles and Battle and Party system. I'm deeply grateful for her help) Magic2345 & Wraithblade (For giving helpful advice to make the game better, Wraith for his opinion and advice on mapping and Magic for the Sepia book idea, thank you guys. <3) Features: *There are three optional characters that you can choose to join your group or not for the rest of the game. While you won't need them to complete the story, these three have their own backstories like the other characters but can be explored optionally if you choose to add them to your party. But you'll only be given this choice once in the entire game, so choose carefully. >=D They also have their own classes too. =) PS: I'll need to study up on how to make different events for the main story segments as they'll be affected by the choice. XD *There is a skit feature, there are special events in the world of Elde that you can find that gives you extra story about the characters and even some lore on Elde. =) Depending on the characters in your party and what side quests you've done. ^^ *New Update on Skit System* Skits can now also be found in towns and dungeons rather than just in on the over world map. =3 It's gonna be skit-tastic. XD *Loot! Since this game as lot of exploration going on and there will be optional dungeons and such, there will be special key items that can only be found by exploring, some can be found by sparkles, others can't. These key items can be used to open/complete certain side quests or can be taken to a certain smithy to make elite armour. (Naturally you won't get this option until much later in the game) But, you can still look around for them, and some of these items can only be picked up once and in one-time only locations or dungeons. So become an adventurer and explore! =D Oh and ultimate weapons will probably be in said optional dungeons or I'll add them along with the smithy idea, I haven't decided yet, but this feature is definitely happening! You can also collect normal items like potions and stuff, so it's kinda like Dragon quest? XD *NEW* A new feature that can be seen in one of the new screenshots, is what I like to call the 'Food and Drink' feature. This feature allows you to go to Teahouses and Restaurants/Cafes to buy various drinks and foods that can aid you in battle (Be it recovering health, MP or giving you buffs.) However, in some cases, some of these foods or drinks are needed to complete certain side quests that are food related. You can even find some foods or drinks during your adventure so you don't have to pay money for them. You can also receive special food dishes as quest rewards that can give you permanent stat boosts or a special 'item'. =3 (or at least that's the theory I have for this feature.) I've decided to change the character backgrounds and scenes in the game, so I decided to start back to the beginning and work back up. IMPORTANT NOTICES *Just an important notice to add. Most of the houses in the game, will have doors attached to them. However, some of these doors are closed off due to the fact they have no importance to the game's story, side quests, etc. So please keep this in mind if you ever play the game and don't panic if you find all the houses have doors, not all of them are closed off. I'll do a post for updates on the game on this topic. And I'll continuing updating the basic information and list of people to credit as the game progresses.. =) Laters. =D *Collapses*
