    FAE: Volume I

(This was created for television format, and does not translate to game format. This is just my latest story project. I've been working on it since 2016, and started writing it last year.) VOLUME I Created by M.J. Saulnier Mystery/Drama/Science Fiction/Horror Some Mature/Disturbing Scenes “Spanning the breadth of your entire existence, you’ve asked the question, ‘What am I?’ Well, my precious child, I’ve been waiting a lifetime to welcome you home.” —Woman In White FAE follows the lives of several families living in the quiet, rustic little town of White River Valley. An eerie, rural community nestled deep into the valley forest. Nothing in this place is quite as it seems on the surface, and seven teenagers are about to find out exactly why. The mystery runs deep, but the connection between them all runs even deeper. One of those teens is a new girl in town, about to discover the truth about this place, and her own connection to it. Danger lurks beyond every shadow, and secrets remain locked behind every door. FAE is a modern fantasy epic that promises to keep you on the edge of your seat from start to finish. VOLUME I

    Alpha Squad [Rebirth]

ALPHA SQUAD Created by M.J. Saulnier "In 2034 a US deep space probe discovered a planet inside the Milky Way galaxy containing alien life forms. One-hundred and twenty years later, mankind set foot on the planet for the first time... and the war has been raging ever since. Fifty years of combat later, I'm in a UNEGA transport shuttle on my way to the surface. My name is Kayleigh Dawn Mahoney. I had nothing to leave behind, because I lost everything a long time ago. I enlisted at seventeen after my mother died and my father slipped into an abusive, drunken stupor. He'd get so hammered he didn't know who I was, that I was his daughter. I'd turn into some cute little thing he figured was his girlfriend. It wasn't as bad as you might be thinking, but I had to leave, and so I did. After basic training, and a slew of aptitude tests, I was selected by the United Nations of Earth Galactic Alliance to take part in a top secret training mission for the Marines. How could I refuse? Five years later, here I am, headed for a hostile alien planet, lightyears from home, what little I had to call home. It's all so far behind me now..." 2204, The Milky Way Galaxy The shuttle rattled and shook about as it entered the planet's atmosphere. It vibrated violently, producing a loud clanging noise that suffocated the thoughts of ten rookie soldiers. They had been through thousands of intense, realistic drills and simulations, but nothing could prepare them for the real McCoy. Heated, intense combat with an alien race unknown to the regular citizens of earth. It was known that we were away fighting a foreign threat to our planet, but the details get a little mixed up over the lightyears. The truth is a luxury most governments can't, or won't afford to divulge. They didn't know the truth, and most of them weren't ready for it. Kayleigh Mahoney cast her beautiful brown gaze at her best friend Keira Smith. "Are we there yet?" she said, imitating a young child in the back seat of a car on a long trip. Keira laughed. Her medium length blonde hair spilled over her shoulders from under a forest green bandana. She chewed gum through her smile and rolled her blue eyes, looking to her left at Trevor Hanken, who was sound asleep, drooling on his own shoulder. She shook her head in shock, looking back at Kayleigh. "I don't know how he can sleep through this," Keira said. Kayleigh shook her head, laughing at Trevor before she got more serious. "I just can't wait to get there, you know? Settle in, meet this Sarge guy." Jonathan Rhodes looked up from the memo he had been reading. "Who is this guy, anyway?" "They say he's some kind of hero down there. That his men worship him, and the hostiles fear him," David Carlyle spoke up. He leaned forward, an intensity twinkling in his eyes. "They told this one story back on the base ship..." ***** "Negative Ghost 1! This thing is like the wrath of god! We need air support!" Captain Reynolds shouted into the radio over the sound of distant shouting, gun fire and grenade explosions. He sat in a poorly dug trench, screaming into a hand-held communcations device. Sergeant Sean Pentecost lay on his side to Reynolds left, awaiting orders, and growing impatient with the entire situation. The Captain shouted a variety of profane words before he stood up, keeping his head low. "This is the deal, troops! Command wants that Titan taken down, now!! Air support is a no-go on this one, gents. We're on our own!" Sarge leaped from the side of the trench, approaching one of his soldiers. He took a grenade launcher from him, throwing it around his shoulders and shouted across the line. "Cover me!" He took off over the edge of the trench and into the desolate, arid battle field. Miles of rock and dirt. Cloudy, stormy skies that only clear up a few times a month, and odd, unearthly creatures everywhere. Thousands of them marching forward toward the human front. Leading the charge was a giant. The beast was easily four, five-hundred feet tall. It seemed to scrape the sky as it charged forward, crushing any of it's own who failed to avoid it's devastating strides. They shook the earth beneath him, creating the sensation of a series of small earthquakes. Sean didn't flinch, nor hesitate. He pressed forward, fired round after round from his assault rifle. He picked the hostile alien soldiers off one by one at a distance as he ran toward the Titan. Ahead was an old human trench, evidence of a time not so long ago when they had won this battle, only to be driven back by the unrelenting attacks of the natives. He shot two of them in the trench, and three more beyond it as they threw crudely fletched spears in his direction. His shot, even on the move was deadly accurate. Ahead of him, a massive alien spike hit the ground and lodged in the loose, moist soul. The impact lifted dust and clumps of earth into the air. Sarge avoided the massive alien missile that lay in his path, striding to the left, ducking under the upper portion that protruded from the ground on an angle. He dropped his rifle at his side, reaching around his back to pull the grenade launcher around his waist. Moments before reaching the edge of the abandoned trench he took aim and fired a single grenade round into the sky toward the Titan. He pulled a grenade from his vest, pulling the pin as the explosive round hit the Titan in what would be it's face. He lunged sideways into the air over the trench, throwing the grenade with all his might before he fell safely into the trench in a fetal position. The Titan collapsed slowly, creating a massive earthquake, and a raging dust cloud that covered a two mile radius, sweeping over the human line like a sand storm. As the dust began to settle, and the men hacked and coughed the dust from their lungs and throats, the silhouette of a soldier holding a rifle at his breast emerged from the haze. It was Sergeant Sean Pentecost, head hung low, breathing heavily. He stood proudly over the trench. "Hope you pussies were takin' notes." ***** Keira popped a bubble of gum. "This guy sounds hardcore," she said plainly. Johnathan Rhodes leaned forward resting elbows on knees. "There's no fuckin' way it went down like that." "Why not?" Carlyle asked, crossing his arms. "You're tellin' me his whole unit let him go it alone?" "They were shook up, John." "Bullshit! And what kinda grenade launcher can stop something that big? What was it? The only grenade launcher on the planet at the time?" Carlyle laughed. "He's not some kind of god, Carlyle. He's probably some hard ass old man who saved a few asses and won a few battles along the way, so they gave the guy a few medals. Few years and some half-in-the-bag mess hall magic later, the guy's some sort of inhuman alien killing machine." An argument erupted amongst the soldiers, and Kayleigh began to feel like she was the only one on that ship who was focused, nervous, or even worried. She looked down at her lap, a wave of anxiety falling over her entire being. What did she get herself into?

    Final Fantasy (Tribute Series)

Introduction Part 1 Reflections From The Future "My name is Hans Venechenko. You don't know me, but you know our story. You know her legacy. It's a story of love, hate, friendship, betrayal, courage, and sacrifice. All the hallmarks of a good story. It's about rebellion, men and women taking a stand to defend their land and people before there was nothing left to fight for. It's the journey of how one girl from the slums of Zenobia inspired the world to form a revolution. To take our freedom by force, although at a grave, and unforgettable cost. This is her story, but it's my story, too. And I'd like to share it with you..." Introduction Part 2 Desert Rose Ana Maria Grace rolled over in her comfy bed of soft, warm, purple sheets in her cozy room. She was sound asleep, dreaming of some better time and place. A land of innocence, love, and peace. Angelo slept comfortably beside her. He was her large, furry brown dog. Her beautiful blonde hair rested over her forehead, covering her left eye. Her sparkling emerald gems were shut as she slept the morning away against her fluffy purple pillow. The buzzer inside of her old mechanical clock clang its usual dull, metallic, insistent racket. New clocks had something called a chip that was made from data or something. Here in the slums of Zenobia, there was no fancy, fussy technology. Bikes that ride themselves, you just sit and stare at people passing by. Neat little boxes that show moving pictures. Nothing so sophisticated. The inner city was like something from a comic book or fiction novel. Some futuristic metropolis turning time like the inside of a clock. Late at night you can look out your bedroom window, peer north into the night sky, and see it's lights glowing, flashing and blinking like stars hung just above and below the horizon. She opened her bright green eyes quickly, smiling wide. She smacked the plated spring on the clock, silencing it for another twenty-four hours, and leapt from her bed, startling Angelo as she did so. He slowly got up off the bed, jumping to the hardwood floor with a surge of energy that would last for the next 12 hours. "Can't come today, Angelo. I'm goin' to the inner districts," Ana said, leaning over in the doorway. She shut the door on him, and he tilted his head with a whimper. She jogged down the stairs of her tiny home, running into the kitchen where her mother was sitting, reading the Zenobian Times over a cup of tea. It was a shabby little home nestled into a nook of Zenobia's slums, but it was cozy, warm, neat and welcoming. "I made breakfast," her mother said lovingly, eyes fixed on the article still, no doubt retaining the words as she spoke to her daughter. "Not hungry, Mom," Ana replied, kissing her on the cheek, heading for the door. Ana's mother looked over her shoulder at her oldest daughter as she grabbed her coat from the rack. "Stay away from those left-wing, hooligan friends of yours!" her mother yelled out to her as she dashed out the door. The streets of Zenobia were bustling that particular morning. Buildings, trees, structures and rooftops towered over power lines and into the sky. Bikes, strangely built cars and trucks filled the busy streets. Some were paved or stone, others were run down dirt roads, usually in a series of gritty backstreets networking the outermost corners and reaches of the slums. Far beyond the cluttered, towering groupings of buildings, the massive structures and sky scrappers of the inner core of Zenobia loomed on the horizon like pillars of the heavens, watching over the poverty, despair and corruption that ensued every day amidst the outer slums... 4. RISING Created by M.J. Saulnier Original RP Concept by Sunal Wolfsbane and M.J. Saulnier Introduction "I prefer to go out at night, when the sun has rested after a long day of polishing the earth. The light is inherently forgiving in nature. It has a way of shining a false beauty over even the ugliest of situations. It gives cosmetic value to an otherwise worthless piece of merchandise. The light is the great deceiver, not the darkness. When the shadows close in around us and threaten to remind us of who we are, it's in the light we seek comfort and salvation. I walk the streets of this forsaken city, passed the dregs, junkies and whores. I see and hear everything that happens in these streets; This concrete Gomorrah. I see a man, a spineless worm, unemployed and hooked on crack cocaine. He collects welfare checks from his brother's mailbox and lives with his girlfriend and her two small children. He spends every penny chasing a high he'll never satisfy and watches her kids suffer, neglected and deprived of a mother and childhood. His eyes are fixed upon a young woman, a prostitute. Her long blonde hair, slim figure and schoolgirl face earn her the money she needs to care for the product of a trick gone horribly wrong. The uninvited seed of a low-life rapist. A foreign invader who left upon her both a gift and a curse. A bittersweet signature left upon her world in the form of a pure, and life-long maternal love, marred by the memory of her violator every time she looks him in the eyes. The pipe in his left coat pocket is still warm, and his mind races, the pane of glass between himself and reality slightly cracked and smudged. Only two things rest on his feeble, one-track mind. That perfect backside and the sexual release it will offer him, and the $600 which rests in her purse beside a loaded .45. Nothing good happens tonight. Nothing that can be summed up beautifully, or packaged neatly by a deep moral observation. People hide within the light. Hoping, praying that all of their superficial bullshit is in any way true, or in any way will protect them from the cruel reality of the human condition... Evil. Sin, and the capacity to commit sinful acts of violence, greed, or deviance dwell within us all. The road to heaven is paved with corpses... So watch your step." —Preacher

    Lords of the City

Lords of the City is an RPG adventure, comedy and a little bit of drama type of game, inspired by Paper Mario and Earthbound, using a fun and engaging combat system where timing is key! _____________ STORY _____________ A story about tragedy, comedy, drama and... A mustache? Our story begins in Terra,a planet located in the Cookies N ’Cream galaxy, where thousands of years ago, a demon swept through many towns, until four wise men of light destroyed him, leaving only a part of himself that was... A mustache. Hundreds of years later, with the new technology arriving, new cities were built, one of them was Diputs City, built near where that fight happened years ago. One day, Anthony, a 19-year-old man, for unknown reasons, was exploring in the ruins of an island near the city, in search for that demon's mustache. By endangering his life and deciphering various riddles, he finally found the mustache and by mere act of fun, he decided to put it on. What he didn't know, is that the mustache still had a huge power of the demon and it took control of his body! And Anthony became ... Antonio. He started doing small evil things at home, such as not washing the dishes or hiding the remote control, but little by little, his evil was growing, to the point where it bothered our new "heroes," Luke, Mark, David and John. He assaulted the Donut shop where Luke wanted to go buy one and took all of them, he stole Mark a video game, a robot in which David worked for years and to John ... 6. Download through Itch.io by clicking this link! Synopsis "You walked unspeakable distances, until you found this peculiar forest. A glade immersed you in peace. As you kept walking, you found a place full of life—Heartland. Everything here gives you the peace you have been craving for. Yet you keep trying opening your eyes. You do not remember anything about yourself. If you do open them, you will get to see the truth. And sometimes, the pitch-black darkness is a better place to stay in." The Game Heartland is a narrative-based, story-rich, psychological-esque, linear RPG with a different take on battles. The gameplay is rather straight-forward, being based solely on the completion of the story. Though to make it to the end, you'll first have to face off familiar faces from your past through one-in-one, strategical, meaningful and decisive battles. All the events of the game and your actions are narrated in a second person point of view by a narrator. Through him, you will get to know the mistery amongst Heartland—and you yourself. The game heavily focuses on atmosphere to engage the player into the narrative, relying upon a plethora of nature sounds, beautiful scenarios and excellent background music which will take you in a singular journey to the discovering of the very truth. Battles have a peculiar twist, in which classic commands such as "attack", "guard" and even "items" are completely removed. Instead, you will get to choose between physical (Swordplay) and magic (Sorceries) techniques, as well as the Remnants bequeathed from your enemies, as you defeat them. Each opponent is a boss-like fight, and you will have to find the best skill composition to a strategy in order to defeat your foes. Heartland features no gameover, but the game won't advance until you win. Showcase (Click thumbnails to enlarge!) Author Notes Patch 1.01a As of 29/11/2018, the patch 1.01a was released in order to fix the obnoxious collision bugs that the game had,\. as well as other minor issues. With this patch, the game now promises to be fully playable without breaking immersion. The patch is allocated in the Itch.io page, so don't forget to grab it from there because it's vital!

  8. This may be a weird to bring up a kinda serious topic late at night on Christmas, but some things have been rolling around in my head and I kinda want to talk about it. But first, for a moment, let's assume what most of you probably assume. That behind the mask of a cute fairy, there is actually a normal human who just likes to roleplay. If so, what I am about to say is going to 'break character' and talk from the perspective of a human talking to other humans. Because sometimes the outsider perspective of a creature like a fairy is helpful to talk about human issues, sometimes it is not. I am not going to tell you if that assumption is correct. Maybe I really am a magical fairy and I am just roleplaying a human sometimes. I want to be able to preserve the magic if I can. The magical idea that maybe, just maybe, crazy things like fairies do exist. Or maybe I could be some kind of radical otherkin who completely submerged my human identity and may end up like Tingle, or come up with some kind of coy argument about how my real identity is a construct and that 'human' and 'fairy' are just roles that can be used regardless of my real body or some other possibly vaguely SJW thing. I could talk about the subject of personal identity for pages and pages. But talking about personal identity is not really what this blog post is supposed to be about. Though it is tangentially related. What I really want to talk about is more about the way people perceive and communicate with each other. Let me paint a picture for you. Imagine if you will, that I was human. That I am even now laying in the bed of the guest room of my parent's house somewhere in North Carolina (and no, this isn't about the bathroom thing either). That right now I am on vacation, and most of my family is here. That means I would naturally want to, or at least be expected to, interact with them. Now in this possible fictional account we are all originally from the most liberal of liberal towns in New York state (and I still live there) so this isn't going to be a tale involving an icy awkward dinner where no one talks because we have vastly different political views or anything like that. We would naturally agree on many things. But I think it's pretty clear by a lot of the things that I have said in the past, that I would have a radical streak. I have big ideas and tend to talk in overblown ways and do tend to argue a lot. Naturally I would would find it frustrating when most of my family would be totally uninterested in engaging in that type of talk most of the time, and they would find it frustrating that I often refuse to drop arguments. I also am probably impatient and clumsy about it, budding in at the wrong time, not being able to handle more then a one on one conversation very well, being very controlling and selfish, and ultimately liking too much the sound of my own voice. I would wonder why I bother communicating my ideas to them in the first place sometimes. I would wonder if I really wanted to have a real conversation or if I rather have a soapbox like this blog to shout out my opinions into the aether. Maybe I would more just want an audience. But I don't think I really want that either. I have been thinking for a while about the odd obsession people have with fame. Why do they want it so much? Doesn't it just make everything more complicated? Plus today I found myself watching some videos relevant to the topic. For example, anyone remember Phil Fish? Not to drag up old wounds, but watching recount how he self destructed under the spot light made me wonder why people seek fame in the first place. Also there was that game, The Beginner's Guide. And watching about it also made me think about if we should really need validation or try and share a message. And then there is about gamergate (and oddly applicable to a lot of today's political issues I feel). I am not saying all those videos are necessarily unbiased or accurate about the people and things they are about, nor am I trying to make some sort of stupid comment on human nature or the dangers of technology. I am just saying, it's kinda the same thing as well I talk to my family. Most people aren't interested in what I have to say, and it makes me wonder if it's worth it to try and get my ideas out there. And honestly? I have to wonder why I want to. Because again, I am not really good at it, and I often feel I just want a mindless audience. That's not how this works though. I either say almost nothing or I become an asshole to someone. And honestly? I can deal with that. I don't think I really need validation one way or another. I am not sure if I really am interested in having conversations with people or if I just rather self-aggrandize myself and hear my own voice and I just enjoy writing things. In some ways I feel like Coda in The Beginner's Guide in that way. Like I am writing these blogs for me, not anyone else. But it's nice when others read them too, I am just not sure if I would be happy if I suddenly got famous. I would probably end up as either disengaging with the public or being an ass if that happened. Or both at once.

    I need tragic music

I'm rapping up a project for the Ace Academy and need background music for a cut-scene. The cut-scene is a traumatic moment in the main character's life so the music needs to be tragic, but their is no RTP music like that and i have yet to find anyone's tracks to be like that. If you guys don't mind referring me to a good track, i would be grateful. I'd like to finish the project (it's short) today or early tomorrow, so any recommendations are appreciated.
  13. Title: The Song that Binds Us Genre: Fantasy Drama Author's Note: I was stuck for a long while in a funk developing A House God Built, so I went and tried my hand at another storyline in my notebook I formerly called "Morbus Cantata". But that sounded funny, so I made it kinda deep, like "Gurl, you're so deep, I can't see you anymore" deep. So yeah, have a read. PLOT: Morgan and Elliot defected from a Mercenary's Guild after a mission went wrong, and now they're forced to go into hiding and escape their clutches. But fleeing is futile, as the head of the guild will not stop until he subdues Elliot and eliminates Morgan. Story switches perspectives as the game progresses, telling a story from a third-person perspective. (Or, I try to do it that way). People will join you in your quest to absolve yourself from enemy clutches. But how high is the price for freedom? MAIN CHARACTERS: Morgan/Captain (Charges TP twice as fast) A strong-willed swordsman. He was the Captain of a squadron charged with the kidnapping of a Duke's daughter, until he had a change of heart. Now he runs from his former guild and home and willingly bears his cross. Sadly, people refuse to leave him be. Elliot Goulding/ Bard (Nigh-perfect aim) An eccentric, loyal assassin with a charming voice. After a dispute with his Captain, he chose to follow him. Good-natured, but sometimes talks of what people see as nonsense. Gallahad/The General Referred to in the guild as 'The General', his prowess is rivaled by Captain Morgan. Known for being a sadist. Constantly leers at Elliot, if you manage to see past the shadow of his helmet. MAPS: Linear, story-based paths, with few deviations. You'll find treasures and hidden stages to bonus items and paths. (That's the plan, anyway.) ITEMS AND SPRITES: Picking up sprites that come close, for now. I don't think I can make much on my own. I'll give credit where it is due. As for items, they'll be kept in light-hearted notes. Expect anti-climactic descriptions, maybe funny depending on who reads and who gets it. COMBAT SYSTEM: As of Alpha Chapter 1: Basic turn-based, XP-Style HUD. Turn-based. Still resolving ATB. I managed to mix an XP-Style battle system with the basic ATB, and I've been trying to configure it to not lag. No success as of Alpha Chapter 1. Also, I've been trying to set a party exp system, where all characters are the same level no matter who leaves and enters. If you guys could help me find a script that does this, I'd be most happy! You can learn a good number of skills, but only equip a certain number of them. That's to avoid overpowering characters. Some spells are available for the shop, and only certain characters can learn them. As of Alpha Chapter 1, no characters are available for learning them yet. They're not introduced in Chapter 1, my apologies. Different classes use different weapons, and their skills depend on different stats. Similar to DISGAEA's weapons, but without equipping anything to anyone. ALPHA-TESTING: Any ideas and opinions would be great. I've uploaded a mega-mega alpha on mediafire for those interested in alpha-testing it. The file is pretty big (Around 128.23MB) because I plan on making the whole game, instead of tearing it apart chapter by chapter. There's so much with this, and I was just so happy to push aside Chapter 1 of the story. It was a lot longer in my notebook. Link to alpha: http://sh.st/w7mst It's still practically skin and bones, no muscle to hold it steady. I'd like you guys to test out the eventing and see if it seems fluid. I'm using a Virtual Machine so it always lags since my computer is kinda crap right now with its VCard and can't run smoothly in VBox. (HELLO, LINUX USERS!) So I request people to give me comments, advice, and maybe a link to a script with the level-up thing. I would love that! I look forward to your input/s! P.S. I'm not sure if this gets kicked out of Theory and Dev't since it has an alpha thing. it isn't a beta, so I kinda smart-a**ed posting. If it doesn't belong in Theory and Dev't, could an admin help me move it?
  14. BLURB: I'm not sure if I'm posting in the right side of the forums but some other people asking help with story concepts are here, so I figured this might be the place. Also, the description and rules of this forum aren't really against story concepts, so yeah. But if it needs to be moved, help me move it. DILEMMA: Need help with my game concept, in general. Genre: Fantasy Drama PLOT: As [snow], you are the star football player in your high school. You rush to school and you accidentally bash into a dork who you apologize to and bring to the nurse's office after seeing him bleed when he hit his head on a sharp rock. He forgives you after numerous apologies in the office and you leave for class. When you see him again, he is bullied into a locker. And from then on you see your mates picking on him again and again and you'll notice the frequency and how they get more violent over the days. You ask your saner friends what's going on with them, and they share your unease. Then one night you pass by the kid again in an alley, being bullied into a bloody pulp. You step in against their better judgement, but then something happens and a scary black thing scares everyone away and leaves you paralyzing in fear. Just when it looks at you, it vanishes. You freaked out so much you fainted. You wake up in a hospital and from there start getting to know the dork [Noel]. You meet his family, who pays for your hospital bills as a thank-you, and from there you get to know him. But his family starts giving you hints of something about Noel and as you investigate further, you realize Noel is god. And he made everything, including you. Chris, his godfather and keeper, finds out you learned the truth and explains that the bullies come after him as a way of his berating himself. God or not, he's a teenage boy with problems, and he also contradicts himself as a means to be logical. of course, that had its ups and downs, and he confronts you with a problem: if you let him realize who he is and what he can truly do, you'd risk erasing everything from existence. If not, you'll of course have the guilt of living a lie. As you progress to the story, it'll climax at the school's Halloween Fair, where you rescue him from bullies one last time and he admits to himself that something's wrong. There, you are given the choice to try to let him know what he is or not. MAIN CHARACTERS Snow "Bodie" White The main character you control. Football star, lives with a single mom and a sister. Best friends with a fujoshi and a friendly asshole. Noel Ellis Rosche The wimp who manages to escape most bullying tactics, but somehow gets chased after with more vicious methods. Can apparently control reality to a large extent unconsciously. Doesn't use therapy much, just therapy books, social interpretation, and various media to help him cope with real people. Chris Valentine Noel'd godfather, who is casual and fun. He seems to know more about Noel than the kid himself does. MAPS It'll be sandbox style, so no real map jumping. School, homes, small regions, all for exploring. The story might get linear, so I'm still trying to think of a way to make it diverse. ITEMS and SPRITES Game-related with funny descriptions. Might poke fun to a few popular things like Youtubers and name puns of celebrities. I'd love some Mack School Sprites but they're hard to come by, and after some experimentation, I learned I suck at pixel art. I might post my character designs here but I need to find some time for it without anyone in my family noticing. They disapprove of me drawing. -___-" EDIT: How many of you think shoving in gags based on popular people is a bad idea? In hindsight, I think it might. GAME DESCRIPTION I won't be using the combat system. It's all just conversations and busts, which will be time-consuming to make. I think facesets may be enough but busts seem to add more depth. What do you think? So I ask you give me your input and ideas and opinions, people-who-chance-upon-this-topic. Sometimes I think this might be too ambitious. Your help is much appreciated. As for where this should be, maybe you guys can help me move this topic or something?
