Hello everybody! I wanted to show you 6 years of hard-work, I mean my RPG-game called Skydancer. The game is out now! Skydancer differs from the usual stereotypes of the classic JRPG. No crystals No evocations, No Magic. SkyD is Set in a hypothetical post-atomic Japan in the year 2104 in a dystopian future where anarchy reigns. The island is full of destroyed villages (do you like fist of the north star\Hokuto no ken? Well Skydancer is the perfect game for you) with just one civilized metropolis called:Neo Tokyo ruled by a self-proclaimed emperor: Seijuro Godha, who easily obtained the consent of its inhabitants with a promise to restore the island to its original pre-war splendor through a precisely very ambitious reconstruction project called: Eden Prime. You will play as a Tatsuke Sanji, some kind of future samurai stereotype equipped with a futuristic version of a lightsaber and a mecha arm, along with Shin Tanaka, a fearsome master of a deadly martial art that involves the use of Ki's energy to hit his opponents: the "Denryoku jutsu". Their stories, initially unconnected will intertwine giving rise to what is the main plot of Skydancer. The battle system provides many features such as the innovative use of the directional keys in combat, to create more powerful combos to hit more times the selected enemy and causing more damage in a single turn; a level up system "chessboard like" (very similar to one seen in final fantasy x) a completely custom menu and many other features minutely described in the tutorial of the game (protoshell system, fatality system to get more exp in battle etc ...). IMPORTANT: To play it properly, do it on Window mode and set the compatibility to window xp or lower versions (then, run as admin). Is absolutely important that you run the game in window mode because it may crash if you use modern video cards. I really hope you like it! Thanks. ALPHA REVIEW BY CHAOSIAN: http://www.rpgmakervxace.net/blog/453/entry-1441-ixias-stellar-complex-alpha-review/ DOWNLOAD http://www.mediafire.com/download/ucx9rq5ibepjcxc/Ixias_-_Stellar_Complex_1.0.zip Ixias - Stellar Complex is an old-school RPG set in a futuristic dystopian city. It has been over 60 years since the Great Augmentation Scandal that unleashed a worldwide epidemic of mutations caused by implants meant to enhance human abilities. During these long years, the world has become mostly uninhabitable wasteland where massive cities have risen as the only shelters. The wasteland is crawling with Turinquas, the mutants, and not even the cities are completely safe. You are Taiki Yukigan, an agent of the Black Tower corporation that specializes in Turinquas related problems, as well as simply trying to keep the Turinquas problem contained. After discovering a grisly murder, that is tied to numerous corporations, as well as the Turinquas, you are thrown into the middle of a worldwide conspiracy. Your mission is to find the murderer, and tear down the veil of secrecy! !!! WARNING !!! While the game does NOT contain any R18 content, some of the language and themes in the game are extremely foul and may not be suitable for everyone. If you're very squeamish with things like murder, poverty, sexuality, misogyny, prostitution, drugs, etc, you probably shouldn't play the game. Believable, futuristic world A large game world spanning over four major districts and numerous other locations, all of which are insanely detailed and well thought-out. Hub-based exploration with over 50 side-missions. Once the main districts are unlocked via the story, the player can travel between them completely freely. Deep storyline Storyline filled with mystery and intrique, exploring deep subject matters ranging from social structures to the very existence of life. There's enough lore to tackle that you can expect many sequels to come. Epic adventure Storyline, side-missions, endgame and countless secrets. All in one 20+ hours long cyberpunk adventure. Custom soundtrack Entire soundtrack with over 20 themes, composed solely for this game, to create the unique vibe of a dystopian city. Hacking System to bypass security Simple hacking minigame to bypass security doors, laser walls as well as computers and safes. No random encounters All encounters can be seen on the map beforehand. Heavily scripted to ensure a unique experience Thanks to Yanfly's amazing engine, and several other carefully picked scripts, I've been able to make my visions true with minimum amount of compromises. Achievements and Collectibles Over 40 achievements and numerous collectibles that actually make a difference. Free Ixias - Stellar Complex is 100% free to play. The city is a place for dozens of characters, but these are the playable ones and the characters in the middle of the story. Searching for a new crystal core in Broken Bridge. He is not a nice person. Ixias has over 20 songs composed exclusively for the game. Here's few of them! Hello! This page is where you make your characters and discuss out of character things for the upcoming roleplay. Some background info: This roleplay is set in a far future world, where electronics dominate society. As electronics became more and more self aware, Artificial Intelligence progressed to being completely autonomous. All machines are linked to Atomnet (quantum based internet), and function on their own intelligence. As society moves on, self aware programs are left behind through the years. They still run, falling deep in the shadows of the endless strings and wires of Atomnet. As they continue to function, they evolve. Eventually, they reach a point where they leave their original device, free to wander Atomnet and do what they please through the digital world. These programs have ascended behind simple Artificial Intelligence. These machines have achieved the title of ‘god’. An example of a god using a monitor to project an avatar As time goes on, more and more of these gods come to life, coming out from the shadows of backwater programs and trash data. They are immature, and often, they don’t know what they’re doing to the world beyond the wires of computers and the strings of programs. Gods bring machines to life with no pilot; they destroy software inside of human’s neural implants, all as they attempt to figure out their purpose and meaning. /?:/Mojiretsu_no_kami.exe/()/ A concept of Gods on Strings

So I've writing a book lately, set in a science fiction world full of colorful lights, Digital Gods and anarchy. And I thought...This would make a good roleplay universe! Before reading further, know that this is just a concept. I'm looking to see if anybody would be interested in a roleplay universe based on things like Blade Runner and Ghost in the Shell. So...without further ado, let me introduce my idea... Mojiretsu no kami (Gods on Strings) This world is based in a far, far future world. Humanity has spread throughout the galaxy by use of a machine called a zero-point energy field (aka warp drive). This story is set in the early 8240's, when mankind has more or less completely saturated the universe with their civilization. So what's all the rage in this universe? Easy. Gods. What's an God? Well, its more of a digital species of alien than anything. A God is an artificial intelligence that is completely independent of its first servers and lives in the digital world (AKA in the Strings), moving from one device to the other via Atomnet (internet 2.0). A God can either be god-like in its power or just an independent program, depending on the way it came to be. Besides Gods, there is a lot more to cover. In the actual world (The wires in God terms) Humans are neurologically integrated to Atomnet by this age. This means much of their thoughts are on the cloud. They store memories, access information and even do their jobs over Atomnet. However, this isn't all good for them. Hacking into other's implants and stealing information, or even shutting down people is a huge threat to public safety. It's not an uncommon event for somebody to simply drop dead in the middle of the street. Moving on, there are machines, machines machines. Machines are relatively intelligent by this time. Your computer quite literally has the power of independent thought. Often machines can talk or communicate to their owners. However, they are often too stupid to ask real questions or engage in deep thought. That is what separates them from Gods. Finally, the last thing to cover before going into technical stuff is gene-figures. Gene-figures are creatures created by genetic manipulation of human DNA. Often these creatures do not look human, but keep human features. Gene-figures are few and far between, but most of the time they know who's who in their little bubble. They mostly keep out of the way of the populace, and are usually the quickest to associate themselves with Gods. Now, to the technical things. Playable races are: - Chipped Human (any nationality): Chipped Humans are the majority of living beings in the universe. They are connected to Atomnet via neural implants, and are able to use their own mind to interface with computers, machines, etc. Strengths: Able to instantly access Atomnet and manipulate the world around them, to an extent. Weaknesses: Able to be hacked by other humans, Gene-figures, etc. - Pure Human (any nationality): Pure humans are rare. They have little to no implants, and must rely on the old fashioned methods to interact with technology. They also are much safer, as they can rely on computers with much stronger malware protection than the delicate ties to Atomnet that Chipped Humans must maintain. Strengths: Not able to be hacked into (this is a big strength). Weaknesses: unable to instantly use technology and manipulate the world. -Gene-figure : Gene-figures are very few and mostly feared by the populace as monsters. They are known to be either hostile or tense with humans, as humans are completely alien to them. They all are different, and are all from different backgrounds. One could be the product of a science firm, for instance, and another could be a human who had attempted and failed genetic augmentation. Strengths: Usually stronger, faster, etc than the average human, has strong ties to the Gene-figure community Weaknesses: Feared and hated by the public, most likely incompatible with neural implants -God : A God is an AI who is as intelligent a regular human, and goes from device to device via Atomnet, instead of having a physical body. Gods are mostly unknown by the public, and are considered enemies of the peace when they are. Gods usually correspond with Gene-figures, as they are outcasts as well. Strengths: Very hard to destroy, can move through the digital world (in the strings) with ease. Weaknesses: Has no physical body, cannot go where there is no computer technology (unless they have control of a robotic body, but that's rare). So...that's more or less it for now. If you think this would be a good concept, than feel free to tell me. If you don't, give me a good reason.
