  1. Come Get Your Candy: Black Rock Shooter Somewhere in the Underworld two girls fight... OVER CANDY! Draw your katana, load your cannon! It's time to rock! CGYC:BRS is a small Black Rock Shooter fangame I'm working on. The game is a silly Zelda clone with very light puzzle elements made with RPG Maker VX Ace and Falcao Pearl ABS. It's supposed to be my first actual release and it's completed to 45-50% I'd say, and some things are WIP still but will be replaced eventually. Feedback is appreciated! If anyone would be willing to help me test the game's design and find bugs, I would really appreciate it! Just contact me here or on my GameJolt page. Play the latest version here: https://gamejolt.com/games/cgyc_brs/519739 Changelog: Screenshots: More here (some are previews from WIP stuff btw): Credits
  2. Far in the future, a war between humans and machinery has left the island country of Japan isolated. Now, decades after the Japanese managed to reclaim their country and rebuild it, it seems normalcy has returned. Hearts Like Clockwork follows the young Rin Kagamine as her ordinary daily life is about to become a lot more interesting, ...And a lot more dangerous. In this game you play as Rin Kagamine, Crypton High School's first-year class president. On the day her life is about to change forever. The adventure she will be dragged into will require her wit, strength, charm, and a good number of friends if she hopes to make it out alive. Whether it's through friendship, Music, or brute force, Your actions may affect more lives than you initially thought. This game features: Original art by Melonie Moon An original story which responds to your choices and playstyle. Many familiar characters from the "Vocaloid" voice synthesizer franchise such as Hatsune Miku, Kagamine Rin/Len, Megurine Luka, and Megpoid Gumi. A world crafted with love. A brand new "Smartphone" system that collects information about the world you're inhabiting, and lets you call your friends if you happen to be lost. A subtle twist on the Classic RPG-styled combat. A simple friendship system, and innocent, pure youth romance (Note: at this time all romance options are girls) Many jokes and references to Vocaloid songs and lore within them, none of which you need to know to enjoy the game! Teaser and Screenshots! The game comes with a difficulty selection! Luka's homeroom class Outside the school Time to teach this guy size doesn't matter! 3. This is a fan-made project, that is not associated with Hasbro, Inc. in any way. The creator of this project will never make any money in any way from it. My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic is the property of Hasbro, Inc.. This is a fanmade Local Multiplayer Ponified Kid-Friendly Turn Based RPG based on My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic TV series. A unicorn pony, Twilight Sparkle receives a very important mission from Princess Celestia, the ruler of the magical land of Equestria. She and her assistant, a baby dragon named Spike are sent to Ponyville, where her task will be to meet other ponies and study about the Magic of Friendship. With their new friends, they'll go on adventures and solve various problems. ♥ PONIES! Discover the Magic of Friendship! ♥ Story and events heavily based on the TV series What happened in the show, will happen in the game along with RPG elements and additional plot. Didn't watch the show? Don't worry, you'll absolutely not get lost because of that! However, as the show can spoil the game, the game can spoil the show. ♥ Local Multiplayer (up to 2 players) Discovering the Magic of Friendship with a real friend or siblings will be better, than doing that alone! Explore Equestria, solve puzzles and fight together! ♥ Energetic Battle System As everything will be based on hit-boxes, each skill will have different usage. A single projectile will be better against singular large enemies, while Area of Effect will perform better against multiple smaller enemies. Besides that, the projectiles may have different behavior dependable on skill. Some skills may also have interaction involved, like timed action, chain of buttons or simple button mashing when casting powerful abilities such as Twilight's Magic Nova. ♥ Each pony has a set of unique skills As each pony is different as the night is from the day, their abilities and specialties are different as well! ♥ Skill Tree Each pony will have a different path. Gain experience to improve or learn new abilities. ♥ Skill Assign System Each pony can assign 8 abilities, either active or passive. A good combination of active and passive skills may give decent (even unexpected) results. ♥ Resource gathering and crafting Collect materials to craft equipment; Combine equip-able gems to get better-quality ones; Collect herbs and plants to allow Zecora brew potions. ♥ Many cutscenes and events ...Even too many. Take a break and relax for awhile. ♥ Songs! Your favorite songs from the show will appear here as well! ♥ Minigames and Puzzles Various minigames and solving puzzles to keep the boredom away! ♥ More PONIES! ... When you'll think, that you saw everypony already. Twilight Sparkle A book-loving unicorn pony with extraordinary magical abilities. Represents the element of Magic. > high magical power and resistance > high MP Rainbow Dash An action-loving colorful pegasus pony. Represents the element of Loyalty. > high speed > weather control (elemental abilities) Pinkie Pie An extremely energetic and sociable earth pony. Represents the element of Laughter. > high speed > explosive abilities! > party-buffing singing abilities Applejack A brave, reliable, strong and mature earth pony. Represents the element of Honesty. > high physical power and defense > high HP > party-buffing abilities > lack of magical abilities > low magic resistance Rarity A unicorn pony with good manners and love for beauty. Represents the element of Generosity. > magical abilities dealing physical or magical damage > party-protecting abilities Fluttershy A kind and shy, with love for animals pegasus pony. Represents the element of Kindness. > low HP > doesn't attack on her own - animal-calling abilities > healing abilities > party-buffing abilities Each pony will have a Primary Set of Skills and Passives, some of them will also have a Secondary Set. List of Skill Categories: Legend: [ICON] Name of Category | Set | What resources the category focuses on Passives | Special | --- Each pony will be able to bring 8 skills in total to battle, so either an active or a passive skill can be equipped in these slots. Equipping Passives will simply raise pony's parameters or add special features like additional projectiles when attacking etc. at cost of a skill slot. A well thought combination of these skills can give decent results. Everypony will have Passives. Now let's talk about unique skill sets for each pony. Magic | Primary | MP/EP Twilight will have various spells, starting from simple telekinesis that will deal light damage by throwing various objects -> through magic projectiles that will deal magical damage -> to powerful Area of Effect Spells, that at high MP and EP cost, will bring some destruction to the battle field. Skills | Primary | EP Rainbow Dash will be able to use her wings to perform various tricks to deal more physical damage. Weather | Secondary | MP/EP Rainbow Dash will also be able to control weather to deal elemental damage as well as Area of Effect. Partying | Primary | MP/EP Pinkie Pie will always find an occasion to throw a party and battling with enemies is not an excuse for her! She and her Party Cannon will show enemies how to party by dealing physical or magical damage. Blow up everything and party on! Songs | Secondary | MP/EP Besides partying, Pinkie Pie also loves to sing! As she sings songs during their adventure, she will learn to sing them in battle as well to raise parameters of ponies and more! Skills | Primary | EP Applejack is a strong farmer and she will show who has the power by dealing high physical damage or using her lasso to stun enemies. YEEHAWs | Secondary | MP/EP Applejack is an active pony and she will be showing her energy by motivating her friends and raising their strengths. Magic | Primary | MP/EP Rarity loves shiny gems. Besides using them for her creations, she also uses them as a weapon by dealing physical or elemental damage. Get ready for rains of shiny projectiles. FABULOUS! She can also use the bigger gems to defend her friends. Animals | Primary | MP/EP Let's be honest, Fluttershy wouldn't even harm a fly and even if a situation requires that, she will have troubles with defending herself. However, her beloved animals will cover her! She will be able to call various animals to deal physical or magical damage. Calling a bear will cause some troubles to enemies! Support | Secondary | MP Nopony is as kind and caring as Fluttershy. She will do her best to help her friends in need by recovering their strength and protecting them. Not available. Can you help them stop it? -Gameplay- You play as SpongeBob and his friends traveling through a large world with many things to explore. Exploring has an Earthbound feel to it. You fight in random encounters similar to Earthbound Zero and battle in a turn based battle system controlling seven characters at once! Sadly, rolling HP is not in this game, the HP and PP system is similar to Earthbound Zero. This is a simple game made in RPG Maker VX Ace in a span of 6 months so many defaults still exist. There are many similarities to Earthbound and Earthbound Zero (because the game is based on that!) such as skill names and enemies. However, this is not a pushover game. It will be unforgiving if you're not prepared! The story is about 40 hours long. There are many secret dungeons and bosses that really test your skills! -Main Seven Character Rundown- (There are many other characters but these are the main seven you’ll be using.) SpongeBob: White Mage - High HP, Speed - Average PP, Offense, Defense, IQ, PSI Defense, and Luck Patrick: Knight - Low HP, PP, IQ, PSI Defense, Speed - High Offense, Defense - Average Luck Gary: Black Mage #1 - Low HP, Offense, Speed - High PP, IQ, Defense, PSI Defense - Average Luck SquidWard: Red Mage - High HP, Speed - Average PP, Offense, Defense, PSI Defense, IQ - Low Luck Mr. Krabs: Fighter - High HP, Offense, Defense, Luck - Low Speed, PSI Defense, IQ - No PP Sandy: Black Mage #2 + Monk - Low HP, Defense - High PP, Offense, Speed, IQ, PSI Defense - Average Luck Plankton: Black Mage# 3 + Thief - Low HP, Offense, Defense, PSI Defense, Luck - High PP, Speed, IQ -Videos (Can these substitute for Screenshots? My phone can’t do that..)- -Credits- Several tilesets used from Aindra’s Corner Several scripts used from Yanfly Several scripts used from Victor Engine Music from Nickelodeon (Most Converted to 8-bit.) Several songs from Square Enix games Several songs from Nintendo games Several songs from DarkNES Several songs from Rainbowcrash88 Several songs from Kil6969 Several sounds from Earthbound SpongeBob sprites from NoJoy -Download Link- https://gamejolt.com/games/spongebound-the-attack-of-giygas/386085 -Known Issues- - Sandy and Bowser’s sprites are slightly messed up, Sandy’s tail sometimes pops up in front of her while walking, and Bowser’s too big for the Party Menu, so he covers other character’s sprites sometimes. - Sometimes, Pray and Dance do nothing. I’m pretty sure it’s a small error with a script I’m using. It’s from Yanfly but I don’t know how to fix it. - I used RTP sprites for the fish in Bikini Bottom. There used to be fish sprites but they got taken down, so I couldn’t use them. Disclaimer- SpongeBob SquarePants, related characters and places are owned by Nickelodeon. No copyright infringement is intended. This is a free fan-game and should not be sold. There are many other cartoon and video game characters that are in the game but if I put this disclaimer for all of them it would take forever! Just know that this is only a fan-game and copyright infringement for all game series in the game IS NOT intended. -Extra Notes- - This Game is basic and uses a lot of RTP things. Don’t judge the game because of that! I’m not a good sprite artist, so I couldn’t really do anything about that.... (My best sprite of Pearl looked like a gray and pink blob...) - This Game is hard and has a lot of difficulty spikes and puzzles! Just know that before you play!

My Little Pony - Game Concept Art

    From the album: PONIES

A long time ago, lonequeso was joking, that I should make a game called 'Double Pony', which more or less would be a ponified version of 'Double Dragon' (gameplay-wise). The general idea behind that was to make a beat 'em up type game, that would involve ponies. Though it was kinda a joke, I liked the idea and was wondering on that one, because that would be totally doable. I don't think I'll get to developing this game anytime soon, because I have tons of other work to do, but I got slightly bored, so I drew a concept art of the game idea, because I love designing HUD's, even though I'm pretty bad at this. So... perhaps it will become a real thing if the future, but I can't promise anything. Original characters seen in this image (Saffron Shadow, Crescent Star and Seraphic Amity) were drawn on requests by me and they belong to their respective owners (Dark Horse, Mr Dash and Jeric).

  6. Before you read: if this post doesn't meet the theory and development criteria, kindly move this topic to where it's suited. Thank you and sorry for the trouble. Now READ! There are so many fangames out there of Markiplier, he could be buried in them, but most of these fangames don't dedicate certain scripts or build different mechanics to make a more unique experience. They don't change it up as much as we'd like them to. I've been tinkering with scripts in my absence and made a bastardized front-view battle system that would remind you of Earthbound. (I made states that progressively make you lose HP over time). I have basic battle mechanics ready, but I wanted to make an all-nonsense fun RPG for Youtubers to play, but I'm having trouble building a premise and gathering resources. Could you guys help me come up with a story? Instead of directly referencing people like Mark and Minx as Youtubers, I want to build a totally unrelated-to-Youtube story and include all their friends. Think a bit like Victubia: The characters are all familiar faces, but they're playing roles to a certain plot all its own. So basically, anything fantasy-based. I made Mark a sort of Engineer class. I'll do my best gathering materials, but I feel we should work together to make a very compelling game. Even help with building a plot is fine. I've been aiming to finish a game but I get caught up with one thing or another. Summing it up (TLDR) : > I need help coming up with a story with a fantasy setting. I've been thinking of putting in Markiplier as the main and just keep him fixed while he can select allies. > Suggested resources to use, along with segments. > Characters to include. Included characters (drawn): Cry (Orator) Planned characters: Jack/Sean (Hitman), Wade, Bob, Minx (Witch), Pewds/Felix, Yami So feel free to give me your thoughts and ideas! I NEED HELP! Progress so far:
  7. Greetings! So I'm looking for some help on a project I'm working on for my very first fan-game based off another game called "Riviera: The Promised Land" on the PSP, though originally it was for the Gameboy advance. The story follows a Grim Angel named Ein and his friends who are trying to save Riviera from a group of powerful Demons known as "The Accursed" and also prevent his former allies Ledah (also a Grim Angel) and Hector from destroying Riviera altogether to protect their realm/world of Asgard from another War between them and the Demons known as Ragnarok since the Gods of Asgard left/disappeared about 1000yrs ago. (For more information about the game and story use this link: http://www.atlus.com/rivierapsp/ ) Anyway, my story is going to follow another Grim Angel named Ash who descends upon Riviera 700yrs after the previous story from the original game because Asgard has heard rumors that the Gods might be returning to Riviera and sent her there to find out if this is true or not. Now for this game to work I'd like some help with a few things to make this fangame as close to the original as far as the game system is concerned: 1: Limited party size of 3 members 2: Relationship points with other main characters to effect the ending 3: Item durability 4: Voices for other characters (at the very least battle voices if no one can help record full dialogue) 5: Battle rank from S to A-D for better items 6: Inventory limit 7: Elemental strengths/weaknesses for certain characters 8: Extra content option on title screen I think that's all I need help with, so any and all suggestions to make this game the best it can be would be appreciated! Here's a few screenshots of my project to give you an idea: (The last one is from the actual game this will be based off of.)

    Castlevania Fangame

Before I begin, if this is in the wrong place, I'm SO sorry! So, I was looking through the basic RTP stuff and got this idea for a Castlevania fangame a la Lament of Innocence. I honestly think I could do it, but I need a little help with, like, two things... 1. The map system 2. Sub-weapons (the cross/holy water/dagger/etc.) Any ideas/help?
  9. Jokingly Serious Mainly due to explicit language and some sexual/suggestive themes. Abstract: Pokemon in "comedic" yet serious situations. Genre: RPG Game Progression: Limited early alpha, expect at least a year for beta with our current crew. Recruitment: Artists for sprites, Minor scripters are not needed but are open for interest. Current Crew: [Main developer] Eziam. [Possible scripter] Kevans. [Definite playtester] Ion. A game with a world of Pokemon. But the Pokemon are the people. Mix that in with some cheezy stories and cute characters, and you get some interesting reults. Characters Setting/Plot Screenshots Credits Features [Or in other words, what to expect other than the story line] Music
  10. Let's say the Japanese name of a character is different in America than it is in Japan.. Same with buildings and such as well... Should I stick to the English dubbed version if it has one, or use the subbed spellings sub groups use? I ask this because the game I would wanna make has a sub and dub, but I'd likely stick to dub. It also goes without saying SOME anime never have or will get an English dub.
  11. I was always a fan of the epic/sci-fi crossover, and few games did this better than the Phantasy Star series. The original series featured, in the course of four games, a very deep and solid universe. I figure the Phantasy Star Team (most of the people who worked on the first one also did the second and the fourth) moved away from the J-RPG format because it would be labeled "just another" Dragon Quest or Final Fantasy. But maybe different mechanics could be added and the original J-RPG feel could be brought back, since the Algol Solar System (the setting of Phantasy Star) has a lot of room for plots at any given time (before PS I, interlude between 2 games, or after PS IV). Of course, I'm still working on my "dream project" (Tales of Adamah), but I figure that while I develop more skills and gather more resources, I could take on a side project for practice and fun. But, I digress. The point is, would people still play such a game? What mechanics could be added to make it more appealing for the newer audiences without losing the old feel of the traditional 8 and 16-bit rpgs?
