Galacti-Chron's Abusive Prison tileset has been released! This contains a full prison tileset. This includes characters (prisoners, a guard, and a warden), animated computer consoles, music, and tilesets (all layers). It can be used for any purpose but is sized for RPG Maker MV. The video above shows a short preview of the pack in action. You are free to use this in your commercial and non-commercial projects. It's a funny little game about a protagonist that was thrown of a place called Demon Lord's company by his boss. Landing into a nearby trash can, he meets a woman there named Mao who convinces him to go back and convince his boss to give him his job back. After the adventure begins imagination is the limit. Our party must pass through the many floors of the company. Defeat enemies, solve puzzles, find keys and companions and overall make it to the top floor. That's the synopsis. Hi there 😊 ! So, I'm here to obviously recruit people for a game I'm working on alone from almost a year, I've restarted this project from zero a countless amount of times. I'm trying to work on this project seriously but I just don't have enough skills to do everything alone so I'd like to work in a team, not necessarily a big one but having a little help would be appreciated. NOTICE: As I started everything again various times, the game is actually undone. I mean I made something but not a big part. I made some maps, some starting events only to see how the game goes without much details and stuff. I made some tilesets too, only partially but they're okay. The music and sound effect is totally 0% as that's not my thing at all, and so on.. Also, as I'm currently without a computer (it died) I'm working more on a book writing down things and such, when I can I use someone's computer to actually work on rpgmv. WARNING: I'm not sure about how to rate this game but I'm rating it R18 as it'll probably contain lot of swearing, bad terms, nudity and explicit graphic violence. So here's everything there's need to know: Title: Dead Blue; title may change anytime as this one is a little random. Engine: RPG Maker MV. Language: Main lang is english, but as my main lang is italian, I will do other lang available too. Trailer: "You know what Lil, that evening, the evening you said you felt some kind of strange aura around me. It's awkward but that night after the show and the after-party I went home and when I got to bed I had some strange lucid dreams. I was in a forest, the first time, it was okay. Nothing really strange, just a biiiig wood full of trees, though it seemed a little off... Like, the color of the leaves and the grass was dark, really dark. And the sky was too, kinda red. I don't know, it gave me some strange feelings, it seemed like there was someone too... I kept watching around and behind me because I felt like a presence constantly on my back. But there was no one. After that I woke up suddenly like I was scared but it didn't actually happen anything to scare me. I got back to bed after a good tea, I swear I was f**king scared like I just had a nightmare of a giant spider following me! So I had to calm down or I wouldn't have gone back to sleep. As I fall asleep I have the same dream. This time I was feeling scared in the dream too, and I felt a lot more the presence behind me, like, I am just sure enough that there was someone or something there but I couldn't see it. The sky was like.. disappeared? It was just pitch black. Absolutely nothing. The wood was scarier though I don't really know why... It was exactly like before, but my feelings and sensations being there were totally different. I could feel something strange, scary and tense. I was nervous and din't know what to do or where to go... And... Here comes the scariest part. For some minutes I thought I woke up, I don't even know if I actually woke up or not but it seemed a lot more like real life than a dream this, however, I woke up in a room of two kid, a room I never saw, what scares me the most is that it was exactly like reality. I got out of bed ad it felt f**kin' real! The room was a mess, it looked like it wasn't being used from years. There were two doors but they were both locked so I couldn't do anything however. At some point, watching some stuff around I felt again a presence, stronger than before... and it was like I knew it wasn't a good thing, I had this feeling that if that thing I felt was a person or like a ghost, a dead person or something like that, it was a bad one. While I had this thought I found this key hidden on a shelf. As I touch it I suddenly feel two hands on my shoulders and they drag me back on the bed in a blink and then I woke up in my bed and it was morning." Characters: Only the first character is playable as for now. In the future will be add other playable characters. Some of those character don't even have a meaning in the game.. so.. Main Characters: • Lou - he/him - 21 y/o - adopted - leader and main singer of an industrial metal band - suffers of amnesia; • Lilith "Kuro" - she/her - 21 y/o - adopted - Lou's best friend - female voice and bass player of the band - "Kuro" is her stage name - apathetic; • W - ??? Other characters (not really important to the game): • Ashley - Lou's sister (not by blood); • Ethan - Lilith's brother and Lou's other best friend; Other characters (that are actually not needed at all): • Sarah - Ashley (by blood) and Lou (not by blood)'s sister; • Ray - Lou's ex-classmate. Mechanics: Basically the games goes through missions (to give some ideas, exactly like every Devil May Cry or Alice Madness Returns) in which Lou, which had a severe head injury (trauma) that led him first to coma and then to the total amnesia of everything that happenned before waking up from coma, is trying to recover his memories (he doesn't actually know this detail). Each mission recovers one memory (idk how many there will be thought) till the end of the game. The mission basically goes : lou having nightmares → having to find some objects or solving enigmas and so on → finding or obtaining a memory. Through every mission there will be some collectable objects and different things to make missions more fun and interesting. What I need: Exactly I need someone that has fantasy and is good at making enigmas and things to solve to go through the game. The missions I talked about first are to do, and I need someone that can help me with that, I have some ideas but nothing as big as creating the actual mission and I can't actually get to create something decent to make the player actually interested in what they're playing. Obviously I'll accept every kind of help but this one is what I need the most right now. As I am really broke and I barely got to buy rpg maker mv I can't pay anyone so I'm sorry this is totally for free, after all I'm just some kid making a game for fun, nothing professional! About me: My name's Xavier and usually u find me on games or on the internet as xavlu or xavluciel, I'm a 18y/o italian boy who always had some kind of interest in games but being with the family I have I've never been that boy that "always spends hours on console" in fact I started playing on computer as the only console I had was a Wii with basic games and a Nintendo DSi with only one shitty game. My parents just didn't want to spend money on games and I was pretty alone too, so I didn't even know what games were popular and stuff, my first actual games where I actually spent hours and days were online mmorpg such as Elsword, Wizard 101, Grand Fantasia and so on. I'm actually an "artist", I draw since I was born. I always did it, I have my own cartoonish style and I'm not really that good for being 18 years of drawing almost everyday. I did two years in art highschool but for some reasons they got wrong and I was in a bad period for my mental health, they basically kicked me out of school as I repeated two times the same grade and that's the maximum for that school. Now I'm going to a graphic night school and since being there I realized how much videogames fascinate me, I already knew rpg maker but I never actually dreamt of developing an actual game. As I am a really technological person and I love everything related to computers, both hardware and software, programming and so on, the idea of developing videogames (and I'm not only talking about tiny pixel games made with rpg maker but also actual 3D games) really interests me and what I dream of right now is to finish this school and get to a nice game dev school. As for now, I just want to finish this game because I spent a lot of my time on this even if it's still at the start but I'd like to see where my abilities can arrive. If I can finish this I'd like to start practicing with unity or similar but as I'm only self-taught and not really a genius in everything this still seems a lot hard to me. Hi everyone. It has been a few months since I downloaded RPG Maker VX Ace. I was thinking of getting some support for my first and maybe other projects. All I need are people with even a little creativity. Doesn't matter what you are, even a little support will be appreciated. Since, this is my first project and have no real experience, I can't be paying or getting payed by others. I am sorry but I don't have much to say right now.

Hi everyone, for the past few weeks I have been working on my RPG game called "Blindness". (Think you can come up with a better one? ) I've realized the RPG game making business is harder than I thought and am therefore looking for some suckers partner/s to help make my game. I'm talking scripts, events, questing, plot development, building maps... ETC. Anything you think you can help me with. I will of course list you in the credits as a fellow creator (no matter how little you did) and you will have my eternal gratitude/friendship. Oh and it's on vx-ace. (I'll send you the game file if you aren't sure and just want to play it a bit) Anyway, let me tell you what the game is about: Plot Summary: The game is set in the modern age. You play as a middle aged character named Bryant. While you are your wife are on a tour in an underground saltmine, a big meteor strikes the earth emitting a bright flash which renders whoever is not deep underground blind. You and your wife now bear a moral responsibility to help save as many blind people as you can. You start by taking in your blind friends and neighbors, and then people off the street. You need to constantly provide them with food and sleeping bags, which you need to scavenge throughout the map. The plot thickens when you discover another group of survivors while scavenging for food. You all move in into an underground cold war era bunker for more space. Eventually you encounter villains who exploit the blind and frequently rape them. You end up defeating them and taking in even more blind people. One of the blind people you take in claims to know how to make a cure. You then have to travel around the map looking for various people and items to gain the ingredients for the cure.... Mechanics: Food meter- The food meter represents the food the blind people you took in eat. You constantly have to scavenge for food to keep the meter full. Once it runs out the blind people begin to die and it's game over. Blind people- You can take blind people off from the streets. They obviously can't see so they have to form a chain behind you or someone else who can see in order to move. Beds/Sleeping bags- The amount of beds/sleeping bags represents the amount of Blind people you can take in. You can find sleeping bags/beds in houses and clothing shops. Happiness meter- You have to keep the blind people satisfied by doing personal favors for them (such as bringing children toys) in order to maintain the happiness meter. If they become too unhappy they will start committing suicide or refuse to follow you. If it gets bad enough it's game over. Some pictures: An example of some specific tasks I need done: 1. Improving the dialogue 2. A script that allows me to attract followers without them joining the party. 3. Establishing a bed hud. EX; 12/25 sleeping bags available. 4. Day/night Cycle 5. Having names over the dialogue. 6. Artwork for the dialogue faces. 7. Implanting footstep sounds 8. A shopping cart tile 9. Making new rooms 10. Changing Weather 11. Fixing some pesky bugs

Hi, I've been developing my RPG Maker VX Ace game for about a year now, and it is live on Steam: PUBLISHED STEAM GAME From the feedback I get, it goes along the lines of a 'a love letter written in crayon'. While I have received a lot of feedback and support from other communities, am finding it difficult to make this game attractive to the RPGM fans.So here I am: looking for advice and potentially volunteers looking to get a credit on a released Steam game.Even if you cannot directly help, would love to hear what you think of the current art-style and happy to discuss why certain artistic choices were made.Where should I go from here? (Reason: It's the Battle system,(aka. action commands). which is timed hits i know galv timed hit and TSBS script it's good, but Galv's scripts does it not have the early or late timing its too perfect input. and for TSBS it takes longer to make other sprite and it dosent show how to input timed hits, maybe i wasn't looking or i did. and the hiring for Coder. i rather the feel like coder more than hiring it too much to waste. but I still give High credit to the coder anyway). {I'm copying and pasting this from another thread on a separate website, so here is a quick note; the story I'm mentioning here is actually a lot more in depth than I'm letting on. This is only what the general plot is, and thus, is only what the general public will be seeing for some time if I do get this project up and running. That's all I have to say. Ta!} So, salutations to all of you! I will simply be known as, "The Pure Spectre", for those of you wondering, and I have a simple question for all of you: Do you want to help create a game with me? Yes, I want to create a game, and I will need lots of help! The game will be called "Trojan Veil", currently still just a simple idea, but I want this simple idea to become a reality, an interactive RPG game. It will be made on RPG Maker MV. The plot right now simply goes as follows: You are a blacksmith (who for right now is currently unnamed, he will get a name eventually) who lives in the modern era of the 21st century, but unlike the 21st century today, power is actually a difficult resource to find, thus is only created for the rich and powerful. The best way to describe the setting, is if the medieval era had modern tech, but only few could have energy to said tech, and if magic and monsters were real. You, the blacksmith, had been convicted for the murder of your own wife and child 10 years ago. You, and only you, know that you weren't the one to kill them, yet everyone only see's all of the evidence pointing to you being a killer. After being released, you go back to your days of blacksmithing, until you find that there is a bounty pointing towards a guy (who the details of which are currently not yet created either) who is said to be a threat to the whole monarchy that you reside in. You decide that if you kill the man, or at least, make sure he can't hurt the monarchy, you would be forgiven and pardoned by the monarchy, and be someone who would no longer be looked at with a face of fear or disgust, but be looked at with faces of happiness, and respect. So you get permission from the monarchy's sibling family, who the names of which are Megananth (Meg), Leniac (Niac), Decretale (Decre), and Alomanian (Aloma), who say that the man must be either killed, captured, or convinced to make a ceasefire, depending on who you ask, and you set off to different lands, meeting characters of many colors, shapes and sizes, getting stronger as you go, and discovering the truths behind the mysteries and questions that plague your mind. So yeah, if that plot sound ridiculous in any way, it may get more ridiculous along development. {EDIT: Currently taken positions: Musician} Anyway, the current people I need for this game are: Someone who can code and/or script (For changing the UI setup with a new look with different fonts, and possibly some other things down the line) An Artist(s) (For stuff like battle sprites, overworld sprites, backgrounds, and talksprites [Possibly tilesets as well]) And possibly a writer (For writing out the main text events, and planning out main events in the game) If you are wondering where I fit in this, I will be the main person actually making the game itself, in that I will be making the maps, weapons, stats, the events, battles, the playable thing. I will also be taking part in making the soundtrack, though what I will be using will be limited in what it can do in terms of the high-end music composing software today, so that's why I need another person for making the soundtrack. Because this is in the early stages of development, I may need more people to help in the near future. Or maybe not, we'll have to see. Also, here is a note; If you're an artist, don't worry, there probably isn't going to be a set art style for the whole game, since I plan on making diverse areas for the game itself. That's part of the reason why I put "Artist(s)" and not just "Artist". Also another note: You must have a Discord account. It will be a lot easier to create the game this way. This is something that will be for probably no money, unless if I can work something out later if this game will go up on steam for any money, maybe something like sharing profits. I'm honestly fine with not having 100% of the profit if that is something we do, I'm not real greedy, I just want to create an enjoyable game that people can at least say, "Hey, that game I just played, it may have had its flaws, but it wasn't too bad overall." Hello there! My name's Dominic and I'm currently developing an RPG called ​The Legend of Jerry Quiver: Rise of The Dominion​ using RPG Maker VX Ace. I've been working on it for about 1 and a half years now with my game artist Joori. The game itself currently uses a JRPG battle system while it also has an overworld with visual novel like cut scenes. These show two characters on different sides of the screen talking to one another. To give a short summary, the game is about Nathan Quiver, the young son of a legendary hero called Jerry Quiver, who travels around the continent of Griffindale with his companions to follow his father's legacy and to go up against his father's once defeated arch-nemesis. The game has a central theme of legacy, which is explored in a variety of different ways during the course of the story in Chapters​. For example, one chapter called the Pandora Chapter focuses on a character called Charise who wishes to resurrect his deceased mother to keep his legacy alive, while the Revelation Chapter focuses on a girl called Asteria who rejects her legacy before her and attempts to make her own. Here's some screenshots of the game, and the visual novel mechanic in work. The battle system in the game is lacking: it is lacking because it's overused, and I want a battle system that reflects and shows the power of friendship and teamwork in a different and more insistent manner. The idea I have is to use a battle system focused on position, and depending on where the party members are, can either attack or defend to a small measure to a large scale attack on opponents. This will most definitely show the theme of friendship: a major theme in the game's story. Here is the battle system concept: If you are interested in the job, I will be willing to tell you the full plot, themes and characters of the game, which may give you a bigger picture of what the battle system reflects. Also, the title of this thread does say free work, but when the game is commercially released, you will of course be able to take a sample of the cut. ​Please take into consideration that I cannot promise you anything, hence the title! So in summary, I am looking for a dedicated​ ruby script programmer who can construct this battle system in RPG Maker VX Ace. I am going to be in need of play testers for my game, Demon Seals as it is almost complete. Please PM me if you are willing to do this. I will need some by the end of the month. Please keep in mind when playtesting that the maps are not final as I'm working with a parallax mapper and neither is the music, but everything else is and I need to make sure that their are no bugs and that the dailogue makes sense.

Hey everyone. I have some free resources that I put together... Please read the TOS for each section, as they may differ for different resources. Firs up, we have some basic recolors. These are free to use, credit goes to Kadokawa. Crediting me is optional for these recolors. Next up we have some slimes I made for an abandoned project. But since they are just gathering dust, I'll share them! They are free for any use, as long as credit is given to StrangeDragon. Here ya go: Next I have made some animated Elemental Battlers. These are made from the default animations from RPG Maker MV.
