  1. Question: How many Nitro Brains do you need to deliver the world's best present? Hint number one: You are Quidget, wiener dog slash genius inventor slash science ninja. Hint number two: You and your assistant Beatrize just build a Lightning Oven. Hint number three: You have the feeling that setting up this Secret Brain Chamber was an extraordinarily good idea... Quidget is Team Tailnut's entry to the Degica IGMC2017 game jam. It's a spin off of our current game in development, Peninja - The Funky Sexy Love Ninja RPG. Genre: Adventure Playtime: About 20 minutes of scienterrific fun! The game is completely playable in it's current state. Due to the short time frame in which it was completed, you might find so boogielicious bugs though Click on the picture to go directly to the itch.io download page! For science! Have fun playing and don't you punch the Electric Igor! ---- Game goal: You forgot to bring your package to the post office. Animate a hunky hulk to deliver it for you! Characters: Quidget the Wonderwiener ist a genius inventor and an inventive genius. For him, animating the dead is as easy as chewing out the filling of a stuffed pig! Beatrize is Quidgets trusty assistant, quick with her wits and even quicker with her tongue. Don't let her make you mad - you are not, repeat NOT a mad scientist! Credits: Team Tailnut: Dezue - Story and Art OniGiri - Programming Plugins: Sound: Known issues: If you finish the last quest and want to pull the Big Bony Lever, please do so from below, so the ending cutscene can roll smoothly. Where are my Internets?

Where are my Internets? Abstract: funny board game about searching the Internet Genre: board game Game Progression: completed Recruitment: None Average game time: 2+ hour Story / Setting / Purpose: It is a board game set in a strange fictional world that resembles our present-day world, but with elements of humour and surreal events. There is only one way you can do it: become an internet provider, and get online. Characters: Yorick Was born and grew up in the big city. He didn't ever expect that he would end up in such a remote village in the prime of his life. Poor Yorick! Up, Left, Down

Here's a fun game. Using arrows of any type, point up to the person who posted before you, and say something about them, being as nice as possible (okay I don't mind if it's a bit naughty but don't be dumb 'kay?), then point to yourself with a left arrow and say something about you, before using a down arrow to say something about the next person to post. Example: [Fargal] posts: ^ Has a nice car < Has a piece of crap Ford Pinto v Drives a Honda? All set? Okay, I'll start! ^ The ceiling is above me and at any time may come down < Is wearing pink lipstick v Likes makeup

    Dark Dithering

An adventure game based in Hell, you are Murray, an unlucky skeleton that need to find out how to remove his curse. A game design like Zelda, funny dialogs like Monkey island, and an atmosphere like Ghost & Goblins, this is Dark Dithering. An old school game, pixel art and hand drawing animation. Follow me: Facebook | Youtube | Website Developement Progress | Story90% - Programming 85% - Soundtrack 30% - Graphic 40% A demo is coming soon! Then hope you support us in future when we are ready on steam and crowdfunding ! StayUpdate! Intro: My intention is to create a modern parody in a comic set in hell, between the current and the main elements of today's communication, during our adventure, we can access Deadbook, the social network for the dead directly from our menu, make friendships with the most curious characters of hell, participate in miniquest in the form of events, and buy directly online, from the ecommerce in hell, like "Deadzone". Deadbook It will also be very useful in terms of game design, to solve puzzles and discover the many secrets inside the Dark Dithering world. It all starts with a great love story, which unfortunately ends up in a bad way, our hero, willing to do anything to get his beloved, releases a terrible demon that instead of helping him, inflicts a curse to Murray, his girlfriend becomes a stalker, and he is surrounded by misfortune.... The way to remove the curse and heal his beloved, will be very long and tiring, also you never know what is behind the corners of hell... Murray Moray: After taking a curse, his girlfriend has become a stalker, and the unfortunate Murray has been hit by misfortune... Fiama Belmont: Because of the curse of Murray, Fiamma has become intractable, jealous, obsessive, and poor Murray had to flee the house, and seek refuge by his friend Karma. Karma: Karma is a karmeleon, unlike chameleons that change color based on where they land, the karmeleon change color according to the Karma and mood. It will be very useful to have a friend like him, to prevent and understand when there are times of danger. Opening Video Gameplay Video 1 Any feedback and suggestions are apprecciated! 5. Super Hyper Quest 2 The Sequeling Oh yes, it's happening. What's Super Hyper Quest? Well, most people will remember a little game I did where the title screen flashed up "OH MY GOD SHIT'S ON FIRE." Yeah well, that was meant to be the original Super Hyper Quest. What Will This One Be About? I honestly have no idea. I know that's not very reassuring, but keep in mind that with the last one I came up with the idea and the entire game itself in one week. With a game as random as this, it probably is better if I simply wing most of the plot. What Features Will It Have? Since I was in crunch mode for the last one, I had to use default RTP and a few clever design tricks to implement a lot of stuff I wanted. This one will have a lot of features that the last one had, but also stuff that goes outside the default RTP as well, complete with original characters, not so original music, and definitely not original SFX that I rip from other sources, but only for comedic effect. Beyond that, I want the game to switch back and forth between E'rrick and Rick, so you'll get to enjoy the story and interactions from multiple angles. How Long Will It Be? Definitely longer than the last one. After all, I don't have any major restrictions on this one. Why Should I Like It? So you can be one of the cool kids. You want to be cool, right?
  6. Hello fellow RM players and makers! About a year ago, I released my first game title: Destiny of a Wizard. For about the last seven months, I am currently working on the sequel to the game titled: Destiny of a Wizard 2: Beyond the Vale This game picks up from the previous events that ended in the first game. To those who have not played the first game in series, please do not read further as it contains potential spoilers! For more information about my first game, please visit my website to give you an idea about the first game or if you wish to check it out: http://ultimacj.wix.com/ultimacjproductions Game Plot: Game Story: Game play & Planned Features: Preview Screenshots *subject to change*: Preview Teaser Trailer (with voice over from the Narrator): Estimated Completion Date: Right now I'm working on mapping and events which is about 50% completed. The current goal is near Winter 2016 if all goes well. I'm taking my time with this project and there is a lot of new content in the second game that wasn't in the first. To see current progress of the game, please visit my website (see below). It is has a detailed flow chart in the development section. Additional updates will be posted to the Facebook page (such as status updates as well as screenshots as further progress gets made). Interested in Beta Testing?: Yes! I WILL be looking for beta testers! While I have my own beta testers to play the game when it is ready, I will be looking for at least five to ten beta testers for DoaW2 from the RM community! Those who beta test will be included in the game's credits as well as receive a free full copy of the game as well as the game guide that's made for it. If you're interested in beta testing when the time comes, please send me a PM or e-mail me (see below). If all goes well, I should be near ready for beta testers in the fall (or sooner!) Beta testers must be able to play the game from start to finish. Requirements for beta testing will be listed at that time. Demo Version: Currently there is no playable demo for Destiny of a Wizard 2 as I am still in heavy development of the project. When beta testing for the game is ready to begin, I should have a small playable demo for everyone to try out. This brief sample will introduce the player to the game as well as partial game play of the first chapter. 7. Prologue: Thirteen years ago there was a Kage(A Kage is the leader of a land) named Alex (who is Spark's grandfather). Alex went to defend the Land of Grass from three out of eleven beast spirits who were attacking it. Among them was a fire dragon that burned anything to ashes, a water sea serpent that had great healing abilities and lightning bird that was as fast as the speed of light. Alex fought them head on, but in the end Alex used a powerful sealing xtu to seal the spirits in three children who were chosen by him. By using up his entire life chi to save the lands Alex died. Thirteen years later there is an academy for ninjas. Here is where we will meet our main characters. Max, who is the popular kid in school, also is very arrogant. Next we have Maddie a girl who is in love with Max just like all the other girls in school. Then there is a very energetic ninja named Spark who is best friends with J.C. The fourth is a ninja named Kitt he is very slow person also he cannot use any xtu. And last we have the main character J.C who is in love with Maddie (she does not know or acknowledge this) and is best friends with Spark. 8. I contemplated doing this in the forums, but I have no idea where I'd post it. Besides, this makes it easier for me to add to, etc. So I'm sure that by now most people have seen this post. If it's not already obvious (and if it isn't then I'm doing something wrong), this will not be a serious game...not in the least. There are a number of reasons for this. Firstly, there was no prescribed theme given. Having it open like that puts me on the spot because yeah I have a lot of ideas swimming around in my head, but to pluck one out and make it a legit argument for a game is tough, especially if I only have a week. Second, the other game I'm working on is fun, but relatively serious, dark, and even cruel at times, so it's a nice break. So what is my game about? Well, it's a parody game, so it's not easy to quantify, but here goes. You play as E'rrick (totally original character and totally not the default character Eric actually). You start in the middle of the ocean (the default map) and a giant town comes to pick you up after ringing its bicycle bell a couple of times. Then it explodes. The plot is obviously evil monsters caused this, so you're going to kill them all...but you're also easily sidetracked (aren't all heroes). You end up in on the island of Landia, just outside the port town of Townia (lots of originality). So yes, it really is going to be and stay all over the place, as though someone snorted 20 pixi stix and flailed about in RPG Maker. The good news is I have a lot of ridiculousness I want to add, so it should be entertaining all around. So far, I have 2 movies finished, the initial island, and about a quarter of the town map ready. To ask what I have planned won't really get you anywhere because I'm totally winging this. I know that's a terrible way to go about it, but that will actually lead to it being more random and ridiculous, I think. So instead we'll do this as a sort of Q&A... What kind of music do you listen to when you make games? Unless I'm feeling utterly uninspired, I either don't or I listen to music that is/will be used in the game. When I am uninspired, I usually listen to something dark, but then that's mostly because I like to put in a lot of dark, twisted content in my other game. That probably won't apply here. What do you usually derive inspiration from? It depends. Mostly I like to derive inspiration from games I've already played, but also TV and movies. For this game, well...and yeah, this is a little weird...but I've derived inspiration from Game Grumps' playthrough of Sonic Adventure. "What, why?" The way they make fun of Sonic is inspiring because I'll often find myself going "what would Sonic say...but like in the Game Grumps' voice?" Again, strange, I know, , you'll probably see what I mean. Does this game have any point at all? No. Well, yes: to make you laugh. That's about it. Okay, maybe one more. Far too often I'll run across an idea someone posts (anywhere, really) that is absolutely riddled with spelling, grammatical, consistency, and several other errors to the point that I just can't take it seriously. Now, it's one thing if the person is super committed already, like maybe it's already partially done and I can see where they're going with it, but it's another thing if it's like this... "hay guyz im makin gaem bout zelda u get 2 play as a goron wat u think" What do I think? I think no. Just no. I mean, if you have a bunch of cool screenshots and some cool backstory and stuff, welllllll...maybe. But if it's just this, then no. And yes, I've played games like this that the developer fully intends for you to take seriously. I'm not making this as an example of what not to do, but that may be what it ends up being. But why not make a game about X? Why do comedy when you could do genre Y? And I'm sure those would be great ideas, except I'm on a time crunch and only have limited time each day to work on it. Yeah, I'm off the next 3 days, but I try to maximize my time usage on my days off, so I might get a maximum of 2 to 3 hours' worth of work on each of my days off. Comedy can be hard, but if you're just trying to be random and stupid, it's really not. The trickiest part, really, is making it as a game. Oh, it's easy to throw dumb jokes and silly presentation overall out, but having it also work as a game with bona fide features, well, that's a little tougher. So imagine trying to make the game work, work well, and have an interesting and engaging plot, awesome mapping, well developed characters...in one week. I'm not saying it can't be done and I'm sure other contestants are well on their way, but not me. This is the simplest and most fun path for me, so there. Feedback Do you have more questions or you'd rather I talk more about what I've already said? Awesome, go nuts in the comments. I am going to put as much as I can into this, so hopefully it will be at least 30 minutes of a playable game. Not sure how much more it will be than that, but we'll see.
  9. Hello everybody. I have some idea for a card game, it's going to be like this: - Each player has 15 cards - They can't have more than 3 cards in their hand - Each card after set on the desk can move around, they will have their own HP, ATK, DEF, Move range. ... - Player control their cards (monsters) attacking enemy's until one player has no monster left - Players must set no more & at least 1 monster card on the deck & max of 1 support card each turn (optional for support card) - Who doesn't have any monsters & can't set any monster on the deck is lost! ---------------------------- Any suggestion for the game I'm glad to hear your ideas
  10. Spectre

    The Reverse RPG

You all have heard the same old story before: a group of ragtag adventurers seek four mystical artifacts from around the world to defeat an evil boss hiding in his lair. There's just one problem: you realize the boss is utterly useless and have killed him in a single fell swoop of your dull blade. Now it dawns on you: you've essentially robbed four civilizations of their most valuable artifacts and trinkets; objects of worship, in order to kill off some whelp of an evil guy who turns out to be someone who isn't all that bad. Your inner guilt haunting you, you resolve to return the artifacts to where they truly belong, while dodging and interacting with angry natives and creatures you've mercilessly killed and plundered for gold and odd items that you don't actually need; but for some reason shopkeeps enjoy taking off your hands, as well as disgruntled, defeated bosses you've beaten to an inch of their life, now staring at you in confusion as you place the artifact they've guarded, and you've plundered, back on its pedestal. As you return all the artifacts and make your way back to your home town, empty handed but feeling like a better human being, you finally encounter the true final boss of the game: the tutorial NPC that won't shut up about teaching you how to use items and attack. As your characters finally snap and beat him to death, the credits roll. This stupid idea was conceived when a friend of mine asked what would happen if you played an RPG backwards. Yes, it's a satire of the old school, romantic styled RPG. But it might just work. Any comments? I'm expecting about six "this is stupid" replies.
