Hello! I'm attempting to use Yanfly's Victory Aftermath script, but for some reason on the screen where it shows what stats are increased, the text showing the increased stats is not present. I've looked through the script as well as other ones I have installed to see what the issue is, but I couldn't figure out anything. Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks! I have attached the list of scripts I currently have as well.

Greetings dear utopic people . I was wondering something , what do you think about time-limited games ? Just like the title says indeed . Like , you have a story line , and during brief moments you have a certain amount of time to find specific objects and once the time is up , you are led to different endings depending on the items you had enough time to find . ( Like a bad ending , a true ending and a good ending .) Let's say you have to find a rose , a fruit and a cat . If you had enough time to find a rose and a cat , you have a good ending . If you had enough time to find a rose and a fruit , you have ending number one . If you had enough time to find only the cat , you have a bad ending . And etc ... So . What are your thoughts ?

This topic will be available to anyone wishing to get help with a formula (I know I'll probably be asking for help on a couple of them myself), so feel free to post questions here, rather than open a new topic for formula help. (On that note, can I request that this topic be stickied/bookmarked or something, so that people don't have to search through the backlog of topics later on?) --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Anyway, onto my question: ((a.atk + a.agi) * (a.luk / 100)) - b.def Does this look right? Or do I need to format it a different way? I want the attacker's ATK and AGI to factor into the equation, and multiply the result by the attacker's LUCK stat divided by 100. All this is against the target's DEF stat. General advice and opinions are welcome and encouraged.

Your system clock appears to have been changed?
thatguywhoneedshelp! posted a topic in Editor Support and Discussion
i was using rpg maker vx ace yesterday, and it was working fine, but when i launched it today,it says ive changed the clock settings to defeat security purposes, and i havent touched the clock settings at all yesterday, what is going on?,it worked fine on my old computer.... -
Hello, I'm in a bit of a pickle I suppose. I had toyed around on RPG Maker Vx Ace on trial subscription nearly two years ago now, and have forgotten everything I had gathered in that thirty day period. I lost my data after reboot for some reason, and I cannot remember anything about the basic programming, and have no clue how to create my Title screen. I've no cue if I've put this in the right place (I'd just found the community today and made my account, this is my first post) Could someone please shine some light on my situation and give me some pointers? Maybe even some material (easy access online prefered) to study over for help? Thank you. -ObsidianMoon

Hey, I am unsure if this is do-able without a plugin, so I'll post this here since I think it's the correct place. Basically, what I am looking for is a possible way to change the default battle options such as "Magic", "Guard" and such to an actualy command. So instead of going into Magic and selecting Fireball, I would like to access it straight from the menu, like so; Attack Fireball Heal Backpack Is this possible to do, and if so, I need it to also be able to allow extra skills to be added later, so I can add more skills and maybe even remove some. Sidenote: This isn't for the Indie in a Week, just thought I'd say. This is for a little side project I'm doing

Introduction: Music Producer trying to make a first game
dj_ithiel posted a topic in Introductions & Farewells
Hello everyone, I hope to make a game that is worthy to play by your standards. More so, I hope that I do not give up on the project before I finish. Currently, I am attending Full Sail University to attain a BS in Music Production. In the future, I want to make music, sound effects, seamless loops, ANYTHING to do with audio for videogames. I am honored to join this community and hopefully it doesn't fall prey to TOO many trolls and glad to meet you all. V/R DJ_Ithiel -
Hello everyone. I was wondering what are your opinions on playing a game made with full RTP assests (tilesets, music, characters)? Custom scripts or Plug Ins can be involved but all the art, sprites, tiles, and music are RTP. Will you play that game or not? And why? Thank you all in advance~

Is It Possible To Add Custom Stuff In Character Gen?
Takeo212 posted a topic in Editor Support and Discussion
I could be wrong, but I'm sure I read that it would be "easy to add custom stuff yourself". Is that confirmed? I've tried transfering some stuff between the folders for male and female to try vary it up, but it isn't processing into the actual generator. Has anyone found a way to do this or such? I'm also sad there isn't a Steam Workshop for MV (yet?), but I know the software was only just released so I'm not to bothered right now. I'm asking because it's tedious to have to constantly edit every sprite the same detail and such, and would like to make it a gen part instead. Is this possible, and if so, has anyone found out how yet? -
Sorry I didn't tell you guys before but I went to Florida for a vacation so I really didn't get a chance to update my blog frequently. But I had some time to work on the History of FosGi and it is now up to date with the current game I am making. I will upload the document as soon as I get a chance to figure out how to do so from google docs. P.s. The history I Wrote can be the grounds for more games in the future. There is a crazy war called the Death War. At this time, Queen Dekelena was in power when the undead crossed the ice bridge in the Frost Age from Diamon to Forister. She trained an army of elite soldiers to fight off the undead. The Queen also gained access to magic from speaking with the jarl in Arisia which is the town where they discovered magicks.

1. Have you guys purchased and/or played Super Mario Maker? 2. Opinions on the game? (Is it fun, challenging, cancerous) 3. Would you like to see more maker type games in the future? If so, what kind? Personally, I haven't purchased a Wii U therefore don't have Super Mario Maker either. However, over the past week I've watched countless hours of Trihex and PangaeaPanga play and create Super Mario Maker levels. It looks really fun and can't wait to save up money and buy a Wii U and SMM. My opinion of the game comes solely from watching Twitch streams. The game looks very interesting and quite a lot of fun. Users create Mario levels and some have very deep level design. Levels with a narrative or multiple goals are really cool. The levels that are pretty bad are the ones with just a shitfuckton of enemies and trolly mechanics. Also auto-scrolling levels and levels where you have to beat the clock seem annoying. I would love to see more maker type games in the future. With Mario Maker out I hope Nintendo or other game companies release these types of games. Perhaps with Zelda, Pokemon, etc.

I can easily remember when I first started using the RM's. I made only one complete game on RM2k3 called The 7 Dragons. It was a little bland, had a boring story, too fast paced, but it was my first game, y'know? But even so, I was proud to have finally completed a game that actually went from start to finish. That was about 4 years ago. That game was a great starting point for me, but it was also almost my end because of a little section of the interwebz that I never want to go near again... The first community I joined was RPGMaker.net. And what a load of S**T that place was. Their admins were okay for the most part, but the real annoying ones were the other users. Everyone there always seemed to act above everyone else just because their games were made better. Every one of the help topics in their forum was answered with "Google it." or some other snide remark, most game submissions were denied for not being too heavily mapped, and other stuff like that. Take my above stated game for example. Was denied SEVERAL times because the screens I posted had parallel mapping structure. You tell me an RPG that didn't have a parallel room in it somewhere, whether it was a dungeon or an important room. And once I changed it to make the admins happy, they finally submitted it. Oh but it didn't end there. Once it was in, I made sure to say that it was my first game and that I only posted it there so I could get some advice on how to better improve my RM'ing skills. And the complete opposite was what happened. One of the several assholes of the site decided to review it, giving it a 1 star rating and completely attacking the game and me for being stupid/horrible/etc. Seriously. He only reviewed it to attack me, the comments saw to prove that. But it has since been deleted, and I've never. Been back. I had almost lost hope in finding a community where people were actually nice and helpful to others about this stuff. RPG Revolution was okay, but my account kept getting deleted, and I never got anywhere on RMRK. But now, some 3-4 years later, here I am, in a well-cared for, pleasant community where I believe my skills can improve, and hopefully someday I will be able to release a game I can be proud of. ---------------------------------------- Here are the final demos of the last two games I tried to make and couldn't finish due to time restraint and loss of project files. Hope you guys like 'em! Parasite Eve :Reboot-- http://rpgmaker.net/games/3221/ The DragonSpark Chronicles: The Last Spark-- http://rpgmaker.net/games/2460/
