1. Kasatmata - Chapter 1

KASATMATA (THE SEEN) - CHAPTER 1 Full + Extended version Developer : Radian F (cradth helverd) Latest version : Chapter 1 Extended v2.20 "Cultures all around the world believe in spirits that survive death to live in another realm." +STORY & CHARACTER+ Kasatmata - Chapter 1 begins during the recording of the TV show called "Beda Dunia", a "supernatural-challenge" reality show where the contestant will stay in a "haunted place" for an hour and a half without the lightings except a candle. You'll lead a brave guy, Satria, who doesn't believe in ghosts. He's a non-believer of all things supernatural, seek anyone who can prove to him that ghost is real. This time, he's trying to uncover the tricks behind the show, but in the end of the challenge, something is coming up. The TV crew are gone without a single trace. Is this part of the show? Or could you reveal the truth behind this strange event? You may interpret the plot and decide the final act as you wish. +FEATURES+ You'll find 5 different endings, each holds different conclusion from one another, the good ones bring you a revelation and the bad ones will bring up more questions. The game's average playtime ranges from 45 minutes ~ 2 hours to reach the good endings. Brave Meter is the only attribute you have to watch over during the exploration. It will vary and determine the amount of fear effects you may withstand. Lower Brave Meter also means you'll see more supernatural phenomena before your eyes. You can use computer mouse to play this game (one-handed gameplay wise). Choice is yours. +SCREENSHOTS+ +VIDEO+ +CREDITS+ +DOWNLOADS+ Yosh! Have fun! \ (^o^) /

4. Geiken

The first in any incorporeal step is to rise and become cognizant of your own desires. All walks of life must adhere to this simple concept. Resistance to such is to follow what is laid out before you, progressing infinitely through kalpas created over nonsensical dreamstates. How? Because all paths are laid out regardless of prior choice. The most difficult area in this regard is to accept this as an absolute, and move forward with what is necessary. Defiance is not optional. You only have a single directive - comply. Description Geiken is a mystery/philosophical story set in a fantasy/sci-fi world, inspired by games from the Legend of Zelda, Elder Scrolls, and Fallout series. The focus is on the writing and storytelling, covering themes of identity, apotheosis, and the pursuit of happiness. Decisions can be made that alter the course of the narrative and the landscape of the finale. There are six different endings that occur based on prior choices. Abstract: A narrative-focused game with an emphasis on player-protagonist engagement and unintended consequences based on player choice. Genre: Mystery, fantasy, and sci-fi Game Progression: Complete Demo Length: 20-30 minutes (Download is at the bottom of the post.) Trailer Story Characters Current Features - A 20-30 hour main storyline spread across 10 quests. - A quest journal system. - An in-game compass that points to your current objective. Can be turned on and off. - Combat is ABS, meaning you fight on the map. Companions are also able to fight alongside you. - 30+ optional dungeons. - 20+ side quests. - 100+ unique weapons, armor, and items, all with different abilities and stats. - Many readable, in-game books that expand on the lore. - Open world gameplay. Screenshots Videos Version History Credits Downloads (RTP stands for "Run-Time Package", which is required for RPG Maker games to work. If you've already played an RPG Maker VX Ace game on your computer, chances are you already have the RTP. Download the Non-RTP version if that is the case; if this is your first time, download the With RTP version.) Non-RTP With RTP (The demo is merely the beginning area with little restriction. There is no story, you start with a basic weapon and healing spell, you can explore the island freely, and you can talk to any of the NPCs. This is just to allow anyone who is curious to see what the game offers.) Demo Non-RTP Demo With RTP
5. Overview: Engine: RPG Maker MV Game Release(s): Commercial, English. Genre(s): Mystery, Comedy, Adventure Synopsis: Chance knew from the day he was born that he was bound for greatness. Unfortunately, Chance was horribly misguided in this assumption. In the far-away city of Los Cactus, there have been murders most foul. Monster-kind is being shunned from the streets, the blame for these murders falling on their shoulders. An election on the horizon threatens to jeopardize their position in the world even further! Meet a wide cast of colorful characters, from zombie waitresses to your very own Slime Friend™, and try to break a very inconvenient sleep cycle! Graphics Style (subject to change): Position(s) Filled: Lead Artist Concept Artist Writer(s) Composer(s) Sound Designer Eventer/Programmer Position(s) Open: Menu Designer: I'm mainly looking for people who can help with menu and title screen designs. If you're not comfortable working in a pixel style, even putting together some mock-ups/concepts to work from would help a great deal. Pixel Artist(s): This project is super heavy on pixel art, so I'm looking for people who can assist with making some of the assets (portraits, sprites, maps, etc). I'll be more than happy to give you a crash course in the drawing/shading style as needed ^^ Other: Compensation: Naturally, you will be fully-credited for any and all of your contributions. I can't do much when it comes to monetary payment until after the game's release, but I'm willing to provide graphics/support for a future project of yours in exchange. Communication: As of right now we're using a Discord server to communicate, though messages via email the forum also work fine. ^^ Interested? Feel free to send me a message on the forum, or via one of the contact methods on my profile
6. Hello everybody! I'm Novem, also known here as Obrusnine or The Nine. I have been developing Erebus: The Crime Project for the past six months, a Danganronpa-inspired mystery visual novel set in the far future (though, to be honest, it doesn't feel like it most of the time). After hundreds of hours (about 300 I think by now, I've lost count) of work writing, developing, and testing... I'm finally ready to show off the completed prologue here in my old favorite community. Because this time, instead of disappearing randomly, I'm going to finish something! That's why I made sure to finish this entire 2-3 hour slice of the game before I posted here, though luckily I've been able to solicit help from the Danganronpa subreddit for a few things (though, this time around, I've tried mostly to rely on myself). But that's enough about me and the journey to get this far, let's get into the game! NOTE: At current, the game is ~11.1 percent complete. NOTE 2: The game will be released in an episodic fashion, one chapter at a time until the game is complete. You will be able to carry your saves between chapters. NOTE 3: If you're interested, I'm writing a tie-in novel for this game and can share it chapter by chapter as I release it through PMs (I can't post it publicly as I plan to sell it once it's done, but I hand out digital copies of my books to anyone who asks). ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ABOUT MATURE CONTENT All screens taken from Male POV because I'm lazy.
7. The Town That Feared Nightfall NOTICE! This will be updated with each new update to the game itself (current update is in the exe's name). Abstract: A small town is suddenly gripped with fear as a killer randomly picks them off at night, and only you can save them if you're quick enough to find them. Genre: Horror, murder mystery, and MLP FIM (Friendship Is Magic) Average Demo Time: 30 minutes at most Game Progression: At the moment the game only goes up to the end of night 2, which can end in a couple of ways. There are unfinished bits, like characters having no lines at certain parts. I'm trying to mainly focus on the story and important moments, but I will go back and add character lines after I get enough of the story done. The game will take a long time to finish and fully write, since there are more than 1 outcome to certain cutscenes, hence why you'll see characters just standing idly and mute. My best friend, Silvergunner, tested the game and told me to resize a house or two to better match the building's outside shape. So I'll be doing that sometime in the future, also---and spoiler for night 2 so read at your own risk. Also, if you play the tutorial lvls there is a glitch that I just cannot fix. I'll be posting a topic about it but basically it's a pathfinding/stealth issue. Other than that my friend reported no other glitches, but if you manage to run into one be sure to let me know. Also! Almost forgot but if you play the game then do so as the female character. Why? Because I wrote 85% of the game's cutscenes so far for her, I'll have to go back and rewrite nearly every single cutscene with the male character, which I'm not gonna do until I get most of the game completed. Recruitment: I can't really pay to recruit people, but whoever plays the alphas and help report bugs and such will all get credited when game is completed. Story / Setting / Purpose: The game will be mostly set in a single town (it's mostly empty with a in-game reason given). You can pick between a male or female character (again pick the latter for now, unless you want to see her cutscenes as the male character) who arrive in town on your way either to a collage or to become a teacher. However, when you stay overnight you are awoken by a scream. A pony is found dead, and it is only the beginning as you soon become the victim of a sickening game. If you're quick you can save the lives of a few ponies, but take to long and their death is on your hands (or just let them die for a very bad ending, you monster XD). So if you play your cards right you can save more than 1 life (WHEN I fully write said outcomes), a key feature is your choices and the possible paths, endings, and character interactions. The purpose of this game is take a old yet still commonly used story and rework it with a new twist. Taking something old and breathing life into it with a totally new spin, and if you're a FIM fan you'll know what I mean when you play the alpha which only begins the mystery. Another key feature I want to do is leave enough open for people to theorize and connect all the dots like they would for the FNAF series. So you'll be getting clues and pieces to a puzzle that, when you get every possible ending and scenes, are still left with enough to want to theorize and figure out the key question that the game never gives you. So, in shorter words, a cult classic is what I'm hoping to create. Character Bios: Credits: Well at the time of this current alpha the credits would be: Rainbow Jello and Recife for the blood titles, Jet for the chase script, Eric Matyas for the game's main theme ( www.soundimage.org ), Rikifive for her help with the chase script I had to give up on, D.S.Sirius for telling me branches were a similar way to collect and reuse letters, William TheUnproPro and Mystic Sword Gaming for their video tuts over at youtube, Wewius for allowing me to use his scroll vectors (with minor edits) from DA. Avery for the telephone sprites, Enterbrain and Flaming Teddy Productions for the hospital room, ~JV~ as well as Twitch for a few custom items, and Silvergunner for helping me by test playing. Also I would like to credit Conan McPhee (http://pinkamenathegame.tumblr.com/) as without his permission to adopt the randomized characters in his game, then all of the OCs (least Speedy, Silver Shadow, Axl, and Yumi Everton) wouldn't had existed. Screenshots: NEW image of the killer, as well as what he/she would look like in the Equestria Girls world. You can already see the killer in the game's main title, so not really a spoiler. -In-game screenshots- Not really screenshots but here are a couple avatars I drew for the game. Features: Turns out, and thanks for Silvergunner trying this at pure random, you can use a controller to play the game! Tho he did so by using Xpadder, which is a free program that lets you use PC/Laptop/emulators with a controller. Give it a try if you prefer a controller over a keyboard! Also the key feature to the game, after I fully write it all, are different possible paths and cutscenes. Ugh it'll take a long time to write all of this. XD Download: (will regularly update) http://www.mediafire.com/file/bowvi09bs4dm6wt/The+Town+That+Feared+Nightfall+6-13-2017.7z I used the options so you can play it even without RPG Maker. Known Issues: For info on all issues and updates I added a Readme inside the zip.
8. Pathway: Desire+

Pathway: Desire+: Abstract: A wanderer has to find her way out of a cave. Genre: Fantasy, Dungeon crawler Average Play Time: 1:30 / 2 hours Game Progression: Finished! Story / Setting / Purpose: During Indie in a week V, I created what I thought would be a fun and simple dungeon crawler. Unfortunately, not enough playtesting led it to be too difficult and not very enjoyable at all. So I had to rebalance it. This rebalance has come out somewhat on the easy side, but I can live with that, maybe with some feedback, I can reach the exact balance. Alone and afraid Erika finds herself trapped in a mysterious cavern where inscrutable forces pull at her and danger lurks at every corner. Can you help her survive the hordes of monsters standing between her and the truth? Character Bios: Erika: Little is known of this wanderer, she's very confident on her own skills and more than a little naive, but she is determined to find the truth even if it costs her her life. Will her desire be enough carry her through this dark pathway? A pure melee character, Erika learns only one magical skill and a few support ones she's your tank and she can take the punishment as well as she can deal it. Valda: A traveling priestess Who has also found herself trapped in the cavern. Sarcastic and somewhat violent, she's still an steadfast ally. With few and far between offensive skills, despite her personality, Valda is mostly a support character. It falls on her shoulders to keep the team alive and healthy and she's well equipped for it. Faith: A mage and scholar from the Lyseria university, Faith unlike our two previous characters has been exploring the caves out of her own free will. Untrusting and with a sharp tongue Faith has some trouble fitting in your party; but her need for survival is stronger than her mistrust... for now. Taking advantage of elemental weaknesses (most enemies have them *wink, wink*) Faith is the most offensive minded character of the party, sadly she's sorely lacking in the defense department making her fall to enemy attacks and strong breezes alike. Be sure to keep her alive! 12. "Back" Arrow

Hello! I've got a request which should be quite easy. I'm making a Mystery/Detective/Attorney game and would need a little "go back" arrow for the investigation scenes. It'd be even cooler if you could animate that arrow. Here's an example of how it could look like, but it's up to you. Blue would be a nice color and I'd prefer a comic-like look. Thank you in advance, ~Mastermind

14. Abstract: An adventure about a woman who owns a tea shop in the middle of all realities. Genre:RPG, side-scroller, puzzler, side scroller, Sci-Fi, Horror, H.P. Lovecraft Game Progression: 5% Story / Setting / Purpose: Mrs. E Chapter One "On Reflection" is a serial RPG about a woman who owns a tea shop in the middle of every reality, finding herself on various adventures throughout the Multiverse. Ironically all she wants is to get tea for her shop but ends up saving the day from all manner of evil. Mrs. E will be a side scrolling mystery science fiction RPG with a unique artistic scrap book montage to the GUI and some other goodies. Set on alternative realities, planets and times Mrs. E covers many adventures on countless worlds. Playing as either the titular character or one of her companions, you solve mysteries, fight mastermind villains and make choices at the end of each game that will have a profound impact on the ending of each game, and the following game should you wish to continue your experiences from the last. The biggest myetery you have to face in the 13 episodes of the series is who Elizabeth was in her previous life, and why it was so important she forget about it. Character Bios: Elizabeth (Mrs. E): The owner of the strange little tea shop who's doors open to literally anywhere. She is very English and quirky, dark and mysterious and insists she is married. To whom is probably the biggest mystery in her life. She has lead many different lives before, with many different faces and many names, all beginning with the letter "E" and often refers to a time where for her "Everything changed". Whilst caring and emotional on the outside, she has lived so many lives she often finds herself aloof and out of ouch, constantly needing that human interaction to keep her focused. Her greatest frustration, however, is not remembering her previous life and spends most of the series trying to solve that mystery. Credits: Music: TBH Artwork: Josh Clark Scripts: Atelier Rgss Screenshots: . Features: A side scroller adventure spanning countless realities in which you must solve the mystery of your past and in the process make sure your multidimensional tea room stays in business. Little combat, but any there will be will be adapted from a unique system I am currently researching.
15. Spirit Host Initially an entry (and winner! ) for Game In a Week 13 over at RMRK ( http://rmrk.net/index.php?topic=49365.0 ) titled Spirit Summoner Girl, Spirit Host is an Adventure RPG about ghosts and their dark worlds. After numerous changes, I'm finally confident with the direction of the game. This is an RPG with an emphasis on involving combat and player choice. Backed by a character centric story, I hope to make a game enjoyable to all kinds of players. Story You play as a high school student named Natsumi. After your parents went away on a business trip, you move in with your older brother, Toshiro to continue your schooling. Many strange occurrences have been happening in town; from students going missing, to ritualistic suicides, and crazed murderers. No one really understands the true reason for these horrible events. The rumor going around town is that of an evil supernatural force passing through Japan and leaving a wave of death in its path. You and your allies will either align with the Spirits or take control of them, and use your new-found powers to change your world. Characters (More Coming Soon) Screenshots Features -More than 60 Host Spirits (3 variants each makes it more than 180 Hosts) -In depth battle system -Stat Allocation -Unique Equipment system lets you play how you want -Multiple Endings -Custom Art -Hosting System- Combat The most important rule of combat in Spirit Host is that you will have just 3 Points of Mana. Every skill costs only 1 MP, however there is a type of Equipment called Artifacts; each Artifact teaches a Unique Skill that costs 2 MP. Whenever an enemy is slain (or through alternative methods), the entire party will restore 1 MP. After every battle, the party regains their MP. You will not be at the mercy of your MP, from special Accessories to Powerful Host combinations, you will learn to use the system to work for you. Conversation At the start of every enemy encounter, you will have the opportunity to interact with the Spirits. Here you can talk to the Spirits. Not all Spirits act the same, giving gifts or telling them what they want to hear will make Spirits respond to you in a beneficial manner. Spirits can run from you, get more aggressive, rally their allies, or even sacrifice their Souls into your hands without a fight, simply to serve you. Hosts/Crafting Every enemy Spirit you encounter can have their "Soul" taken. If you manage to take a Spirit's Soul, you can equip it on any party member. It will grant 3 new skills to the Holder. You can only Host one Spirit at a time, which means you will only have 3 spells at one time (Initially). To truly dominate in battles, you will need to find good Host Combinations among your team. Deeper into Spirit Host, you can learn to craft Spirit Cards. Spirit Cards will permanently teach a skill to a character. To limit player grinding, whenever a Spirit does not drop its Soul after the battle, you will be instead granted special Materials used to create Spirit Cards. Defeating an enemy is always getting you closer to advancing your character, not just in terms of Level. Credits

There was not really much we could do about it, as we cannot communicate with it from our side... and travel seems impossible from both sides. But it's not. SciFi RPG I was expecting the project to progress slowly. Sadly, it's progressing too slow. Nothing i can do about it though. 20% is what i got so far... June 2021 By the time Jiro realizes that a big Pharma company is for some reason after him, he disappears. While Jiro's friends are looking for answers, they realize that their life's will never be the same again... (This is an over-simplified version of the story. Full story elements are provided within the game. I decided that rather giving the player walls & walls of text to read even before he starts playing, providing the player with story elements in-game, is much more player-friendly.) I make use of scripts made by the following people: (a more extensive list will be provided once the project nears competition) TheoAllen SoulPour777 Tsukihime Galv YanFly The following screenshots are outdated. Instead of update them i think i rather upload a short game-play video in a few days. - A story driven game - - Dark Comedy elements - - Use of Adventure-genre elements - - Character relationships & Decisions to make - - Items & Enemies Encyclopedia - - Fully interactive in-game A.I. with supported speech - - Turn-based battles - - No revivals. 17. What Silver Shows "It's all a matter of perception. But that does not change the fact that we are all seeing the same thing" Jack is an adult already. In his adulthood he is obliged to accept some harsh truths about the world and his place in it. However, while in his mind he is strict pragmatist, his heart desires more thrills than his bleak world can offer. He feels that he is unique, even if he knows that nothing in his ordinary life proves it. He is in a constant inner struggle with his need to excel, his lack of determination to do so, and his self-loathing for seeing his young life being wasted away on frivolities. One day, in his desperate attempt to become something more than himself he voluntarily places himself in an unorthodox, perilous situation. While he escapes seemingly unscathed, when he beckons at his reflection in the mirror to become the person he used to be, he discovers that he can enter a mirrored version of his own world, with almost no barriers and no residents. While he enjoys his new secret in any way possible, he soon discovers that the parallel world starts to change a little by little. When Jack is eventually trapped in a completely alien location he just drifts without any sense of direction and purpose. He says to himself "I need to find an exit" and "I need to survive". But is that what he really wants? He will meet cryptic figures and will spend some time with some of them. A number of them will make him question some of his beliefs. Trying to protect his ego he has made what is supposes that is a cold, pragmatical, pessimistic profile for himself. But he has forgotten some important aspects of him that start to resurface. We can all see what a mirror can show us. But behind the glass, the layer of silver may hide some secrets. Is anyone really capable of comprehending what the silver shows? Features 322 maps (to date) with half of them being parallax. 4 to 5 hours of gameplay (to date). Puzzle-based gameplay. Over 7 (to date) possible endings depending on variable actions, affection or hostility towards other characters. Many hidden extras that allow even more endings, secrets and easter eggs (yet to be implemented). Customized Event Menu. Current Point About 65% of the game done. Cons First project (It is really apparent especially in the first maps of the game). Not completely RTP free. Many of the usual tilesets and sprites you have seen over and over will be present. Long introduction. Slow story progression in the first 1.5 hours of the game. English is not the first language. The text may have some grammatical errors or some phrases that are technically correct but sound awkward to native English speakers. No battle system (while the is a QTE system for some action scenes, the classic battle system is not featured) May or may not require some sound volume tweaking. Request A person or two from the community to do thorough alpha testing that will be monitored by me, since I think there are some delicate issues with the game and is still not ready for mass testing. I suggest that you are genuinely interested in the project because it's size and potential bugs or inelegant gameplay may be tedious. Consultation for enhancing the project. Personal opinions. Feel free to ask for additional info. EDIT: I provide a demo, so you can see if you are interested. WARNING! Gore, harsh themes, sexual themes, with references to child/spousal abuse and adultery. 19. Updates: See the bottom for information on the current Demo V1.6.3 I am currently taking a break from this project. I have spent many sleepless nights and pretty much all of my Christmas break before college starts back up working on this. It is getting to a point where I am starting to be pleased with it but I will not be doing any hard-core work for a while unless I receive comments about some high-priority changes. When I do come back I want to do another re-haul of the text, check all the grammar, perhaps add more conversation and just make it easier to read. After that my focus will be to create a pleasant environment. I want people to play the game and think, oh wow... this is pretty. Fragile Meet the Silly Man Behind the Curtain Hey guys! I'm Josh and I only recently purchased RPG Maker VX Ace about four days prior to posting this message. I'm a music director who was looking for some work as a composer in the indie game market and I decided to see what it took to make a game, so I started this little project. It's a lot of fun and I put a ton of hours into it.... definitely not as many as others have but my game isn't really that long. I would consider this an RPG/ Visual Novel. I was originally working on a horror game but became engrossed with story writing so it became a little more, mystery novelish..... I noticed as I got better with the engine that I made things more enticing, so i'm constantly going back to re-map, add dialogue and such to try and keep the players interested until they reach those points when the story really kicks in. And of course, I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart if you decide to dedicate an hour of your life to checking this game out.... It may be slow-starting, but your comments will help me make sure that it is an enjoyable and entertaining experience for many more. Thank you. And to those who don't want to spend an hour, have a drink on me... unless you're too young.... then you can have a soda... if you don't like soda... well... I'll get you some pickled okra or something..... Setting This is a primarily story driven mystery/puzzle game made with RPG Maker VX Ace. The gameplay is estimated at 45-90 minutes with all three available paths. It offers mystery, comedy and romance all in one. What this game may lack in current gameplay I hope will surprise with it's interesting, gripping and dynamic storyline, and it's original soundtrack. The mind certainly is a fragile thing... Of all the muscles in our body, it is quite possibly one of the hardest to maintain... Or recover.. We humans rely on "things" to keep us sane. Because life is something we cannot do alone. We require constant companionship. We require constant love. We require constant pleasure. Yes indeed... the mind is a terrible things to waste. It certainly is a..... Fragile .....thing Characters Your name is John Jacobs. A highly charismatic man whose father is the CEO of a big company. You wanted to follow in his footsteps so you convinced him to send you to New York to attend college. You recently graduated college with an unwanted degree. You almost flunked out and was only able to graduate by switching majors. You moved across the states to avoid showing your father of your failures and you currently work as a door to door salesman for a small company. One day you are making your routine rounds and you find yourself in an unexpected development. Credits Made with RPG Maker VX Ace. I composed and own all the music in this game. Event Follower Script by Tsukihime Regional Effects Script by Galv Particle Effects Script by Arevulopapo Mack's Tilesets Screenshots V1.6.3 Is available! Version notes: from 1.6, fixed gamebreaking bugs and smoothed out event sequences, custom title screen, redone color scheme etc. 1.6.1 cleaned up some confusing moments and added more direction to player, also removed player irritations like movement sounds. 1.6.2 added some more interactive content to keep players interested, made some realism adjustments IE: regional BGS variance on clocks etc. 1.6.3 Added new tilesets and still adding more "explorable" content. Looking to the future. Aside from wanting custom textures and character sprites; (I can dream right?) I would love to re-design makes to be more pleasing and captivating to the player, check and double check dialogue for clarity and grammar, add more and more interactive side-content, possibly expand the "world" a bit to add some variety (unsure, this is a short game and may not need it) Yall's comments really do help me make this game a more enjoyable experience for everyone!
20. Heya everybody! ^~^ I've been real busy in making my game and experimenting with FL studio but sadly I don't have the proper know how to make music, sure I can play guitar and double bass, I just don't know how to use the software and all that technical stuff sadly but I am working on it! xD hehe anyway, now to the request. So for my Indie Horror game: Twin Souls I am really in need of a title screen BGM because the one I have right now is a rip from Pan's Labyrinth and I kinda don't wanna use that hehe. However, that's the sort of element and feel I want it to have. Something nice and eerie, very mysterious and creepy and just draws the player in, sort of setting the stage for the player's mind. I'm not sure how I should describe it though xD I'm struggling. I just want it to be very eerie and mysterious piano. I want the keys to sound off without it sounding "out of key" or not in sync with the flow of the song. >.< I'm sorry if I am not making sense. If you need further details, PM me or just let me know in the replies, thank you. This will be for a non commercial project. *phew* Hopefully I said everything right xD. Oh! And I'd like for it to sound very solemn and sad and slow and dramatic. Thank you everyone

Newer versions will be made available periodically and will include story continuations, bugfixes, performance improvements, and more polish. Take note that save files from legacy versions should be compatible with newer demo versions, so you should be able to continue where you left off when the next version comes out. Current Version (v0.2.0a) (.7z | .exe) The .7z version is recommended. Changes since v0.1.3a: - Story continuation; Angel's route initiation added. - Added music to main menu. - Removed Zelda dialogue sounds. - Various areas touched up some. - Changed windowskin. - Modified save/load menu to use mugshots instead of map sprites. - Ending a demo gives feedback before booting to main menu. - Minor dialogue tweaks. - Various bugfixes and performance improvements. Legacy Versions v0.1.3a (.7z | .exe) This version covers about the first third of Lili’s route and about 20% of the main game. Story Features: Select between two different protagonists, with different personalities and demeanors. How you respond to people can affect how they treat you down the road. Choose one of three girls’ psyches to heal, follow their story, and build affinity with them. Who knows? If you play your cards right, a romance might even sprout! Character Bios The Protagonist: In this game, the player has the ability to choose one of two possible protagonists. Each one has a slightly-different personality and dialogue, allowing for more replay value. The Ladies: During the protagonist’s time at the telempathy clinic, he comes across three girls who have been traumatized to the point of ceasing mental function, a peculiar ailment that he himself is specially equipped to remedy and, possibly, eradicate. Miscellaneous Characters Chris (“Chiefâ€) Assistant director at the telempathy clinic and the driving force behind telempath recruiting. However extremely laid-back and otherwise amicable she is in casual conversation, she makes up for it professionally with a tough, strict, take-no-crap-from-anyone attitude, especially if there’s work to be done. She also serves as the protagonist’s mentor, watching his back while he handles his catharsis training under her guidance. 24. Ok so my idea starts out like this, our main character "Syrus Thornton" is getting wasted as usual, at his favorite tavern he proceeds to have a converstation with the bartender over the current direction where his life is headed. His wife and kids were all killed while he was off playing "hero" in a war his country didn't even win. He is the town's local detective also. A girl walks into the bar and the bartender asks that "Lady Aerith" escorts syrus home we have a cutscene of them talking in the rain(romanticly) and you waking up the next morning with a fierce hangover "Aerith arrives and tells you that your best friend Duncan has not shown up for work (duncan is a nerdy, studious type) very out of his character. She asks you to ask if any one has seen him in town. You will gather clues at the inn and tavern telling you to go to the Town square for clues A man Owain is giving a religious sermon about how he and his acolytes will change the world by ridding it of darkness. You find it very strange the outfits they are wearing are very odd. The crowd buys into the sermon. You can choose to speak out to Owain although it will have no effect on the story. You decide to return home and check on Aerith who has also suddenly, disappeared. You find a note in your home, you read the note that warns you of impending danger and you should stay out of it. But if you choosr to progress the riddle tells you to go " A place where God's convictions triumph over man" Here is where the game becomes brutal. You ate given clues each clue is a variable and if you fail 3 of the 5 variables. A switch goes off and a survivor will be killed, you have to be able to figure out each clue on your own. I f you given in you will cash in a clue token which will reveal the clue for you, if you use all 3 you.lose a survivor. This also impacts what ending you will have save 6 or more of the 12 surviors you get the normal ending. Save all 12 you get the perfect ending. Any survivor count below 6 at the end results in the bad ending. Now, back to the story the letter means go to the church. Which is now deserted you must find the indent on the wall grab the paint bucket to reveal the message "Play the keys" if you interact with the piano you will be transported to the "cultist dungeon" battle the cultist purist enemies solve a few more puzzles. Eventually you will find Owain who tells you that the evil must be uprooted any of your dialouge choices will result in a boss battle with Demonic priest Owain after you defeat him, you will be teleported back home where Aerith has showed up again she is very dodgy about her wherabouts. Duncan tells you he remembers nothing about the incident until you arrived. My demo will end here but a few more dungeons in I will figure out away to implement "dynamic clues" which will basicaly allow you to either rewind or speed up time in order to reveal a clue. That's all I have so far criticism is always appreciated. This also a nameless project so any ideas are also welcome.
25. Forsaken progress #1

I have finally have a menu that I like, only want two changes, but am not sure it is possible. 1. To change the opening menu to remove the big window with the character, so I can add a HP HUD 2. On the equip screen to remove the stats bar... I might put in a request if I can't find out the answers myself. I am debating about the sanity part of the game and how it would work in my game. I would rather there not be battles, but I need something to be able to kill you. I have looked and I am certain I could do this with events, but it does need to be consistent. I use Victor light script and I would like that you equip a latern, and when it is equipped, it uses oil. If there is no oil, there is no light. But on the positive note, I did find faces that I like and creating charactersets now. Music is not purchased, but I do have something that I feel can work. I figure that each playable character has a skill that you use to get through each puzzle or challenge you face. I love to think and I would love to add not only thinking, but plenty of mystery to the game. One thing I am certain of is that I will have to create a piece of paper, bloody, crinkled for the pages of the diary TOU are going to find around the house. Books will, also, be your friend. My strength is story, which used to be my only strength, but not so much any more. I am not ready to recruit, but I hope to, in the next couple if months. But positive progress is really good. An added non playable character is the MC grandfather, who was quite vocal that you drop the entire thing and let the past remain buried. I do plan that there are two unplayable characters, a professor and later, your grandfather. There is, also, a shadowy figure roaming the hallways, whose identity is unknown. There are, also, spirits who are trapped in the house with no memories of how they came to be in that state. However, only the MC can see and interact with them, but if the spirit is standing before a door, your other characters will not be able to pass. Well? Opinions so far? This is mostly game mechanics, which was one of my new years resolution to expand this year.
