I've had this idea for a long time so I decided to put it into action. I got stumbled to a writer's block with World of Chaos so I'm working on this as a side project until I get another idea for World of Chaos, Here's a card I've already created. The battle system is a mix of a few cards games I play(ed). Here's what I have so far. There are elements: Dark, Light, Fire, Wind, Earth, and Ice. It's like Bakugan and YuGiOh where the element you chose to play with is really a matter of preference. "Soul" is another word for your health. You have different tyoes of cards: Evos (AKA Evolution): You can transform these cards to a greater version of them if you have enough points of whatever element you need. Fusions: Fusion Monster can only be used when you meet it's summoning Conditions (like YuGiOh). Unlike YuGiOh, there is no etra deck so you must draw this. (Ex: You must put 1 "Crimson" and 1 FIRE card from your deck into your hand and discard them. If you do, summon this card). Gods: These are rare cards that requires you to discard cards equal to half of their cost. if decimal, it is rounded down. (I probably should've put that on Crimson). Spells: Certain spells do come with cost like normal monsters (ex: use 2 FIRE points and activate this card) and some have no cost at all. For every 2 spells you activate, you gain 1 point. You can distribute that point to any element. Counters: This is similar to equip cards in YuGiOh but with the effects of Trap Cards. (EX: When you opponent initiates an attack, gain 20% of your CURRENT soul. Elemental Points There is cards that show a number rather than elements. Ex: If a card shows "3" as a cost then that means you mu sacrifice 3 points no matter the element(s). This is just a sketch I made last night but I'm open for ideas. I'm still stuck on how is the actual battling going to go. I'm thinking of making them into states but I don't know what to do from their. Is the monster sumoned for x turns? Give the monsters health and then add health to yours and, if the added health depletes, then the state goes away? Basically, the state/monster has to go away some way. What do you think?

Hello there! I'm currently creating a horror game (non profit of course) and I need assistance in creating the primary villain that chases you, all that's needed is the sprite and face. If anyone is willing to help, heres a reference picture you could base the design of it off of. Thank you so much!

But i want something complex something worth spending 16 to 24 hours of your life or more to play i need twists i need everything good. But i don't know whats intriguing you guys do. So tell me what you find intriguing so i can make it a reality.

I'm making a game called Age of Corruption. I've gotten feedback about the structure of it but I want feedback on the quests. All 3 big bosses are me... Konata the Dragon King Vectra the King of Darkness KFC the King of Rage Why is the final boss named KFC? Well, my nickname is KFC. Now, to fight Konata you must fight in the medieval tournament. You must battle any foes(Haven't decided how many) before you can defeat him. Then there is Vectra, you must fight him in the Red(i)Tournament(futuristic). After you defeat them both you fight KFC which you will fight somewhere(haven't decided yet). A lot of the bosses you fight are my real-life friends. Now I will tell you my awesome followers. My Army Jordyn F- Military Commander/2nd in command Paytin H - Hitman/servant of Jordyn F Erica C - Hitwoman/servant of Jordyn F Alyssa R - Technician/Commander of the Enforcers Vanessa A - Enforcer/2nd in command of the Enforcers Reagan G - Strategist Jackson - Reagan's Defender Owen - Robotic Master/Commander of the all Red(i)Robots Matthew - Servant to Owen Caramel - Erica's Teacher Then you'll have to fight the opposing team. Opposing team Danielle G - Vigilante Alexanderson - Vigilante/Danielle's husband The Education Squad(7 people) Zoe R - Blade Witch Erin B - Witch of Decay Jacob M - Hitman killer/Leader of the Hitman killers Alaina H - Hitman Killer Josh G - Hitman Killer There is of course a story behind each and every character that I've just listed. I will make that a separate post once I've figured out a story for every single one, But for now, what do u think?

Greetings, fair community~ Today I make this humble thread at ask of your assistance. I don't want to get too far ahead of myself while making my game, Tainted. So far, I have done decently well to make sure I don't get too ahead of myself, except in one aspect. The Story. I want to discuss the story of Tainted with someone and bounce some ideas off them, to help improve the existing content, remove the useless content, and create quality content in blank spots that require filling. Now, I don't want to discuss this openly in a forum, where potential players could walk into a wall of spoilers. So if you are interested in doing with with me, please send me a PM, and I will greatly appreciate it and also return the favor, if you'd like.

So I'm working on a game. I would like some opinions.
Overlord posted a topic in Theory and Development
So I have a baseline for a game I've been kind of working on here lately. And I have the very very cliche story written out. And since I suck at a good story and suck at pretty much all creativity I was looking for some creative people here on the forums to help me out a bit with my game's story. All I need are some suggestions to make the story seem better for the players. This can change stuff can change at a moments notice, so just be wary of that. The Story Our story basically begins with a huge tournament that is held every 10 years. The tournament consists of 50 different floors the teams have to go through. Teams consist of 4 people each. In order to complete a level the team has to defeat the monsters that are sent to them in order to proceed to the next level. The tournament has a limit of 100 teams that can enter each tournament. (So spots are limited.) The teams are determined by having them compete against various monsters as an audition while being observed by 3 of the proctors that are there. If 2 out of 3 proctors pass them, they are entered into the tournament. Once 100 teams have been passed. Those teams are tested once more in a dungeon where only 10 teams are estimated to pass out of those 100. (So its a 10% survival rate on average.) Once the teams enter that dungeon they cannot leave. The only way they can leave is by completing it. They either pass, or they die during the dungeon. Once that has happened, the remaining teams are sent to stage 3 of testing where they are tested in various ways until there are only 5 teams remaining. Once the 5 teams have been chosen, they are sent through the 50 floors of the real challenge. At every 10th floor, a guardian exists. In order to proceed to the next tier that team must defeat the guardian. Once they have, they gain access to the next tier of challenges. After all 50 have been completed by a single team. They gain access to the secret 3 floors of the tournament. These 3 floors consist of the strongest monsters ever to have been seen so far. They have been specially bred for fighting and killing through years of research. on floor 53, the true challenge begins, the team must defeat a monster so strong, that even the gods have chosen to keep an eye on it because of its power. Even though it is guarded by some of the strongest humans that exist, there's always the chance it could break loose. The prize for defeating it in combat, is a magic lamp that will grant one wish to the winning team. After the magic lamp has been used, it returns to its true form the evil demon bred for combat, that awaits the team at the end of the tournament. Known as Tiamat, the Demon Lord (Still not sure of that name.). This Demon Lord was bound to the lamp by a powerful genie years ago while it was still young. It seems to be immortal however, due to the fact that once killed it turns into a wish granting lamp. UPDATE I: The characters are one of those teams and they must compete in the 53 floor dungeon. (The game starts after they have already passed the exam and the 100 teams have been weeded down to 5.) UPDATE II: Changed Destroyers name to Tiamat. UPDATE III: Each of the 10 floors of the dungeon, are held in different locations with different themes. Upon beating the guardian of the tower, he will give you the location to the next tower where the next 10 floors are held. My game also takes place on floating islands where the only way to travel between them is via the powered magic circles that teleports the user to the island across from the teleporter. The 3 secret floors are held in an underground area separate from the other 5 towers. Each tower also has unique puzzles, enemies, etc... Exclusive to that tower. UPDATE IV: Added some lore background to Tiamat. That's all I have for now. I would love some any suggestions/feedback for this. Thank you for your time!- 15 replies
