To keep it short, I'm working on a common event that, on a button press, allows me to talk to my companions. For some reason, the "If Button is Pressed" condition won't do anything. The event is set on paralel process with a switch and all. I've confirmed it isn't the event, since I copied it without the button press condition into a normal event, and it works perfectly. It might be a really basic question, but thanks in advance for the help!

I'm making a game called Age of Corruption. I've gotten feedback about the structure of it but I want feedback on the quests. All 3 big bosses are me... Konata the Dragon King Vectra the King of Darkness KFC the King of Rage Why is the final boss named KFC? Well, my nickname is KFC. Now, to fight Konata you must fight in the medieval tournament. You must battle any foes(Haven't decided how many) before you can defeat him. Then there is Vectra, you must fight him in the Red(i)Tournament(futuristic). After you defeat them both you fight KFC which you will fight somewhere(haven't decided yet). A lot of the bosses you fight are my real-life friends. Now I will tell you my awesome followers. My Army Jordyn F- Military Commander/2nd in command Paytin H - Hitman/servant of Jordyn F Erica C - Hitwoman/servant of Jordyn F Alyssa R - Technician/Commander of the Enforcers Vanessa A - Enforcer/2nd in command of the Enforcers Reagan G - Strategist Jackson - Reagan's Defender Owen - Robotic Master/Commander of the all Red(i)Robots Matthew - Servant to Owen Caramel - Erica's Teacher Then you'll have to fight the opposing team. Opposing team Danielle G - Vigilante Alexanderson - Vigilante/Danielle's husband The Education Squad(7 people) Zoe R - Blade Witch Erin B - Witch of Decay Jacob M - Hitman killer/Leader of the Hitman killers Alaina H - Hitman Killer Josh G - Hitman Killer There is of course a story behind each and every character that I've just listed. I will make that a separate post once I've figured out a story for every single one, But for now, what do u think?

I made a series called World of Chaos. I originally made it on VX but didn't like it so I'm remaking all 7 of them. I did not make ANY of the enemies graphics BUT I do give credit to the creators AND I did make many of the characters, all the movies, etc. by myself.I'm a solo game designer so I'm pretty limited when it comes to enemy graphics, characters if I'm looking for something specific, and scripts but unlimited when it comes to eventing something(I can event anything but scripts just makes it a bit easier for me), I'm really good at balancing(Enemy stats, Actor stats, Leveling, Weapon stats, Armor stats, etc.), good at damage formulas, good at skills, and interior designing(inside dungeons and house). General Story(World of Chaos I - VI): The 5 heroes who were chosen by the 9 Gods are known as "The 5 Heroes of Chaos" who are against "The 5 Enemies of Order" who were chosen by the 10th God... The Chaos God. The Chaos God who's name is King Magnificent wants to rule Earth with his massive and overwhelming army. He has 5 Generals known as "The Enemies of Order" who are to slay "The Heroes of Chaos". King Magnificent wants the powers of all the other 9 elements. He thirst for power greatly. Once the Enemies of Order are slayed the Heroes of Order will be guided by the Gods to meet each other and join forces to defeat King Magnificent. The 9 Gods decided to pick one of each class(Battlemage, Templar, Mage, Assassin, and Warrior). Each has there own favored element. The 10 elements are Fire, Ice, Lightning, Earth, Wind, Water, Holy, Chaos, Mythic, and Blood. Once the Heroes are chosen the Gods make sure there King knows so the King can announce it and then the mortals can celebrate the coming of the Hero of Chaos. World of Chaos: Main Character: Dreg Class: Battlemage Favored Elements: Fire & Lightning Bio: Dreg is chosen to be leader of the Heroes of Chaos. He is a man who works at a farm. Grandma lives with him. He's friends with Patricia, Leonardo, and Lana. Patricia(mage) is his secret lover who he ends up marrying. Leonardo(Assassin) is his childhood friend. Leo is a real flirt. Lana(Warrior & Templar) is very quiet and keeps to herself. Dreg has a leader mentality and will sacrifice his life for those who are innocent from going into an Alien Hive to fighting a beast bigger than a mountain(the final boss). Boss: Appopalisis Class: Demonic Beast of Rage and Destruction Favored Elements: None Bio: Leader of the Enemies of Order. The smartest and the strongest of the other generals. King Magnificent made Appopalisis off of himself. Therefore, Appopalisis acts much like King Magnificent as in Personality and Desires(hint(Foreshadow)). You will face him on the mountain even though he won't because he'll be standing. This is how he looks when you fight him. World of Chaos II: Main Character: Falcon Murrine Class: Templar Favored Elements: Holy & Earth Bio: Commander of the Templars. Has Holy Powers no other Templar has. He is very humble, proper, skilled, respectful, and well-disciplined. Skills were taught by his King who has risen from Templar Commander to King. Falcon follows the Orders of the King. He is a very loyal templar. Falcon is best-friends with Bulk. Another fellow Templar who is the total opposite of Falcon besides being skilled and humble but he's quite funny. Boss: King Shen Class: Unholy Templar Favored Elements: Fire Bio: Used to be a Templar. Got dismissed and exiled once he nearly slayed the King because he wasn't granted Templar Commander due to his chaotic heart. Was hired by King Magncificent and given powers once he was exiled. King Magnificent promised him an army and he can rule 1/10 of his World but Magnificent will still remain primal ruler(Appopalisis owned 2/10).King Shen agreed and is a loyal ally. He became great friends with Appopalisis(hint). He vowed that next time him and the King meet that it will be the King's last breathe as well as the Hero of Chaos. He claims revenge will be his. This is how he looks. World of Chaos III: Main Character: Cassandra Class: Mage Favored Elements: Mythic & Blood Bio: A student in University of Magic where people master Mythic and Blood Magic. She learns of a dark side of the Leader of the University. The Leader is capturing mages. He plans on using chaos magic to summon portals so his Army (1/10) can come to Earth. She plans to stop him. She learned his dark ways when she goes through a test and the woman she is to kill tells her everything that had happened to her and the other mages... they were turned into Chaosians or was fed to them(Demons(King Magnificent's soldiers)). The Leader quickly escaped once he was exposed. She is to find him and kill him. She's very innocent, sweet, and is very optimistic. She is solo. Boss: Magi Zao Zao Class: Mage Favored Elements: Mythic & Blood Bio: Was a mentor to Cassandra. He was trying to convert her into Chaos or at least that was the plan given by King Magnificent until it backfired. Magi Zao Zao was hired because Magi Zao Zao wanted to be the most powerful mage. King Magnificent gave him a deal. Serve him and Zao's magial strength will be nearly unstoppable. Magi Zao Zao agreed but now he has to slay Cassandra since the plan to convert her didn't work out. This is how he looks. World of Chaos IV: Main Character: Menestra Class: Assassin Favored Elements: Wind & Blood Bio: Menestra is an Elf who is a Werewolf-Vampire hybrid. Her mother is a werewolf and her father is a vampire. She lives with her mother in a tribe and despises her father who killed innocents mainly to shroud mortals in fear. Her partner is Castro who is a secret lover(ends up being married). Menestra is kind and fierce in battle. Castro is the same way. They were childhood friends. Their duties is to protect their tribe and they also work as outside help to kill criminals in the neighboring town. Boss: Dracula Class: Vampire Favored Elements: Blood Bio: Dracula is Menestra's father. He was hired because he was immortal. He would be a great gain to King Magnificent's cause. The deal was if Dracula serve King Magnificent the sun will be no longer effect vampires. Dracula still prefer to do things only at night but it's good to know he can do otherwise if he feels. He is ordered to kill his daughter UNLESS he can find a way to persuade her. By him being full vampire his vampire abilities are way more superior than any vampire including Menestra. Dracula is King Magnificent's most loyal ally. This is how he looks when you fight him. World of Chaos V: Main Character: Captain Shard Class: Warrior Favored Elements: Ice Bio: A Captain of an Army. Nearly died but was saved by his King's ally. Although his King was dead his new king recruited him as a Captain of his army since Captain Shard is a very skilled warrior. He wields two chained swords(inspired by God of War) and has a pet named Savage... a tiger. Like his former King he is respectful and loyal to his allies and is a total nightmare to his enemies. Savage is the same way. Boss: Bull Class: Gladiator Favored Element: Chaos Bio: Is a world reknown Gladiator. He is very blood thirsty and is on a constant lookout for worthy opponents. He had a flawless record... until he dies. Once Bull was sent to Chaosia he met King Magnificent. Ruler of the Chaosian World. King Magnificent saw great potential. King Magnificent made a deal as he did the others. If Bull was to fully submit to King Magnificent's rule then Bull will be brought back to life with Chaos powers and then he will be unstoppable. Once Bull came back to the arena the entire town was shocked. They've never seen someone get their heart ripped out but all of a sudden magically get another heart fueled by Chaos Power as King Magnificent promised. Bull is ordered to kill Captin Shard and when he do go for the King. This is how he looks when you fight him. World of Chaos VI: Main Characters: Dreg, Falcon, Cassandra, Menestra, and Captain Shard. Classes: Battlemage, Templar, Mage, Assassin, and Warrior Bio: Now they've all come together to fight the fearsome King Magnificent. Boss: King Magnificent Favored Element: Chaos Bio: He has to kill the 5 Heroes of Chaos himself. This is how he looks. General Story(World of Chaos VII ONLY): King Magnificent did not die and he wasn't done neither. World of Chaos VII: Main Character: Zen Class: Hero Gene(Holy and Lightning) Bio: King Magnificent's wife gives birth to a son. He doesn't know his wife started to see her husband's true colors. He asked Aliens from different worlds to create genes. These genes will be used to destroy the earth and so he can move on to other worlds. The Aliens agreed that they will let him rule. His wife saw her husbands greed for what it really is. She asked the 9 Kings to give her son the gift of being the hero of chaos. They agreed and took the son. King Magnificent found out and killed his wife. The Kings left the son somewhere safe. He as the Hero of Chaos with the Hero Gene. The Kings needed one of the five genes. Each Gene has elements. Hero Gene - Holy and Lightning Devil Gene - Darkness Alien Gene - Ice and Lightning Rage Gene - Fire Pit Gene - Earth and Wind Then you have the advanced more powerul ones. Heaven Gene Hell Gene Cyber Gene Beast Gene/Dragon Gene Death Gene This is Zen. Boss: Appopalisis Class: Beast Gene Bio: Him and King Shen goes against King Magnificent. King Magnificent was alive but weak. Appopalisis was going to kill Zen and King Magnificent and claim the throne with the support of King Shen. He believed with his Beast Gene and his new body that he'll be unstoppable. This is Appopalisis. I also did a special boss after you defeated Appopalisis. Special Boss: Darth Vader's apprentice. Class: Cyber Gene This is him(I tried the best I could). What do you think? This is how far I've gotten. I'm still recreating the first World of Chaos so I didn't get much time to think about World of Chaos VIII but I decided that the main boss would be a girl and daughter of Bull since King Magnificent is no longer the main boss. I don't exactly how I want the story to go from World of Chaos VII yet.

Greetings, fair community~ Today I make this humble thread at ask of your assistance. I don't want to get too far ahead of myself while making my game, Tainted. So far, I have done decently well to make sure I don't get too ahead of myself, except in one aspect. The Story. I want to discuss the story of Tainted with someone and bounce some ideas off them, to help improve the existing content, remove the useless content, and create quality content in blank spots that require filling. Now, I don't want to discuss this openly in a forum, where potential players could walk into a wall of spoilers.
