    Re-Breeze, RMMV Tiles Set.

Hello! In this thread I'll be sharing resources I create for practice. These are all free to use unless stated otherwise. Comments are welcome! I take commissions and request btw This set is inspired by Greenraven's Breeze Revolution Tilesets from back in the day (RMXP), I absolutely loved those and didn't see anything similar in RMMV so I decided to create them. By inspired, I simply mean used similar color palettes as that was what made Breeze special for me. Also tried to make a map mixing in some RTP stuff, and whaddaya know, the RTP house work beautifully with this tileset! Some of the vegetation too actually ♥ ('tis just a test, I'm no mapper obviously lol) And here's the Tileset : 28/07/2019: ADD ON Doodads Preview with everything included: (you have to place them on the tilesets yourself since these don't make up a whole tileset obviously) TILED: For those interested, here's the autotiles in TILED format: I hope you like them! If you have any criticism, please don't hesitate to share! I'm new to the tileset making business ahah. RULES for using: - If you use any of this, please credit me as : Oozarts. - If you use these, please send me a link (via this post or PMs) to your project, even if it isn't released yet (if and when you chose to present your project to the community), this is mainly because I'd really like what you make of it! xD
  4. Hello all, I am looking for someone who can draw 4 characters full body for an opening title screen. It would be ideal to match the style to that of the character generator, or possibly a bit more cartoony or Dragon Quest-esque. I will pay for commercial-use release and I might have some more work shortly. Please pm me any similar illustrations or projects you've done for reference. Thanks!
  5. Fight ghosts from your past and real ghosts. It's been a long month for Sirius- not talking to most of your friends, having an angry ex talk about you behind your back, and having a friend claim... that her house is haunted? The past few weeks have been long for Hailey as well, as her house has seemingly become infested with ghosts that only she can see- that is, until a fateful day. Eva Reynes: Volume I

She was one of the best in her line of work. She had it all - the money, the fame, the respect of her peers and the fear in the eyes of her enemies. But sometimes all it takes is one hit from the bitch called life to knock you off your feet. Following the tragedy of the RM-8 incident, Eva Reynes finds herself in a life drenched with alcohol and music, with no care in the world for her job and her responsibilities. Evenings once spent chasing criminals were now spent chasing bottles of whisky. On one such evening, she got a call from her apprentice and friend, Damien Wills. He had been framed for murder. "Just this time" were her words when she put on her overcoat and headed for the scene of the crime. But when she finds out that this case somehow connects to the one case which ruined her life, how will she react? Are there answers at the end of the road, or will she end up chasing shadows leading nowhere? How will the years of drinking and reclusion take a toll on her when it matters the most? Walk in the footsteps of the legendary Eva Reynes and unveil the truth. Warning: Eva Reynes: Volume One is a dark, sadistic mystery game which gets increasingly difficult, and there will be no hand-holding after the tutorial. After the first episode, you will be on your own to make deductions and find clues. Once Upon the Woods

Hi guys! Once Upon the Woods is my entry submission for the One Map Challenge event being held at Rpgmaker.web. It is a very short and simple RPG that features the story of Hansel and Gretel, an old fairy-tale that we have all heard. This game is sort of like my high-fantasy take on the story. I hope that you enjoy! Features: - Very short and sweet - Challenging, strategic and engaging battles - Beautiful fairy-tale-esque artworks - Beautiful Celtic music Credits: Plugins: Moghunter Yanfly SumRndmDde Tsukimi DEGICA Co., LTD Enterbrain Music: Bitter Sweet Entertainment, Inc. 9. Hello there, here's something different from a classic RPG, a point-and-click, like Riven or Myst. This project is very particular, because it is set in a real city, with real people, citizens, who interpret themselves in a dystopian version of our town Carrara, (Tuscany | Italy). Carrara is the capital of marble, it's a city famous all over the world because of the quality of the most famous stone with which they built the greatest works of humanity, from Roman times to the Renaissance. In this story, the city has been hit by an apocalypse. The narrative is actually rendered in a horror fashion for mere provocation, as a consequence of the decline experienced over the years by many Italian towns, which were previously famous and full of tourists and nowadays languish in desolation. We have translated the game in English just to show the structural wonders of our city, even if in a dystopian and horror fashion, just to create a contrast between fiction and reality... The game is based on real photographs of the town, which has been mapped in Google Map style, at night or at dawn when nobody was around. Then, each scenario has been transformed in a dystopian style. This game has episodes, think of a TV series, this is the first episode! PS: Suggestion... save your progress frequently, and don't make noise... Follow us on Facebook for updates! Or website! Game Trailer
  10. Straight to the point. In the VX Ace version of this, there was a default AP gain which was based upon Total EXP gained divided by an integer (something like 10), which could be changed if one wanted and knew what they were doing. I found no such thing in the MV version, so I was looking for a way to implement that so that one could use that as a formula instead. Issue is, I have no idea as to what the reference is for total EXP gained, nor how to implement it. Any help is much appreciated, merci beaucoup.

    Can't understand this plugin...Help!

Hello. I was wondering if I could get some help understanding this plugin. It is called Orange Time System. For people who haven't heard of it, it is used to create a time system in a Rpg Maker MV game. Basically, all I want is a demo for this plugin because there is no longer one available. If any of this seems confusing, please let me know. I appreciate any help on trying to figure this out. This plugin would really help me in the long run of my project.
  13. !ALERT! The first version contains parameters that will not work with RMMV v1.6.0 and beyond. Please use the second, slightly gutted version instead. Credits to Trapless for bringing this to my attention and helping to try fix it. Do NOT use the 1.6.0 version with MV 1.5.2 or below, it will throw a tantrum. Yes, there is a developer console that is included in RPGMaker MV. It's a more generic, but also more powerful Javascript console with a whole load of features like the network monitor which for most people and projects, are probably going to be fairly redundant. Sadly, unlike its predecessor RMVXAce, this console does not have a built-in option to be brought up on test launch. You have to manually bring it up by pressing the F8 button. Moreover, it comes in smack-bang in front of the game window and has to be manually resized by hand. This is annoying to no end.... ...unless you have this plugin. For RMMV Versions 1.5.2 and below: Gutted version for MV v1.6.0+: Stick this in a text file, rename the extension to ".js" and put it in your plugins folders. Use like any other plugin. In addition to resizing and repositioning options, there's an option for whether or not you want the console to initially appear behind the game window. Obviously, once you close the initial window, you'll have to F8 and manually resize and reposition if you want it back. It goes without saying that this is a developer's tool and is going to be utterly worthless to anybody who isn't planning on touching plugins. I'm not going to pretend it's particularly useful either, just there for the sake of convenience. I don't know why they took out the option from the editor - it was quite convenient in Ace. I'd like to be able to say this is my first MV plugin, but sadly it's my second - my first was a plugin made to bring back the fullscreen-on-boot option which also seems to have disappeared from MV. You now have to manually press F4 to fullscreen (unless you write a plugin for it like I did). I'm not feeling very impressed with the whole thing right now. Perhaps I'm just not used to it, but I'm finding Javascript a mess of semi-colon cancer compared to Ruby. EDIT - Nah, no point attaching an actual text file, won't save that much time for anybody wanting to use it. Just copy and paste and rename the extension. For obvious reasons, the forum doesn't allow upload of .js files directly. EDIT 18/11/2015 - Updated the plugin so you can name the .js file whatever and it'll still read the parameters. EDIT 28/02/2018 - Posted new version that works with MV version 1.6.0:

Looking for Art Critique - WIP

Hello everyone. I'm creating some more modernized/ Sci-Fi icons and hopefully going to move on to even larger pixel arts soon. Basically, I'm looking for feedback, and critique, as the title says. Currently, I only have a few icons for Ammo, and a couple of modernized grenades. Basically, every attack in my game that uses a gun, or skill that uses and item, will require ammo from the inventory. So. here we go. Mostly, my doubts involve lighting and shading... THESE ARE WORKS IN PROGRESS. PLEASE DO NOT USE, EDIT, OR SHARE outside of this thread. I Will be posting again when I am satisfied that they are ready to use. A bokuto, or wooden katana. Alien Mind Control (Take me to your refrigerator!!!) Energy Ammo Pack - the bottom is supposed to be a concave cube, whereas the top part is supposed to be cylindrical; silvered metal, with gold bands, and showing glowing red energy inside and at the connector tips up top.... but i'm not sure it doesn't just look flat. M84 - Flash bang. This one had so many sharp angles that i'm not sure you can even tell what it is, or if you can even make out the Pin... M67 Frag Grenade. The entire thing is OD green... so shading it to represent a light source is kind of difficult. A metal Bolt or Slug for a Rail Gun. Silvered metal with angled flanges coming off of the cylindrical core. M18 Smoke Grenade Pretty simple, but still kind of hard to draw the spoon on the side at the correct angles and to show the pull pin and the primer on top Handgun Ammo. Rifle Ammo Machine Gun Belt Shotgun shells in a woven fabric shell carrier That's all so far, and I will add more as i work through it, and need more icons to suit my game. Thoughts? (Once again, these are works in progress. PLEASE do not use for yourself just yet. I will release a new thread when I'm ready to share.)

So, here is the first face graphic I made with Game Character Hub: Portfolio Edition. She (to me anyway) kinda has that Unreal Tournament vibe going, with that headset and mid 90's hairstyle. Only edits made were to colorize the lips, but all done with the software, no external editing required!

  18. I still have a lot of work to do, but I think it's a good time to show off some story bits of chapter 0. ...Or, in this case, the whole thing. It's not entirely finished yet and there are still some bugs that need to be squashed. However, I'm quite happy with how it turned out regardless. I seem to enjoy making cutscenes look the best they can thanks to Galv's Camera plugin. The gameplay is every basic and I haven't gotten around to making any actions sequences, yet. This is mostly just to show off some bits of the beginning story. I might also try to get my topic back up again since I have some new stuff lined up, but I want to wait a bit longer just to make sure. Anyway, here's Chapter 0!

    Embers' Pyre

Embers' Pyre Follow the journey of a rather unconventional hero and make choices along the road to influence Cendril's development and ending! Genre: Fantasy RPG Game Progression: ~ 25% Estimated playtime: ~ 4h Download current version here! Cendril wields the power of conjuring flames - a very useful power to have in a realm that is plagued by the threat of monsters. As an aspiring knight, Cendril joins the ranks of the Military and participates in the mandatory training camp, where the recruits are given tasks to complete in order to prove their worth. Completing these tasks would be a breeze for the young Mage - were it not for the fact that the knowledge of magic is strictly forbidden in the Kingdom of Rolantis. Rather, the fresh recruit is forced to blend in among the others, which proves to be quite difficult, as, apart from fire magic, Cendril possesses no martial prowess whatsoever. Still, that is a hurdle that Cendril is willing to overcome - not least because the Mage's reasons for joining the Military differ from that of the many recruits in the camp... But as the training progresses, Cendril is quickly entangled in happenings that are far more dangerous than those of an ordinary training camp... And the young Mage embraces that turn of events. After all, what better way to make a great impression than to overcome these dangers? Characters: Features: Screenshots: Credits:
