  1. https://store.steampowered.com/app/1810220/Gears_of_Phantasm_Destiny_TailoredAct_I/ A classic styled JRPG offering a somewhat different approach on how RPGs can be designed. Uses a customized battle system, (while a prototype & not without its quirks)still evolves basic front facing battlers to the next Lvl exploiting the build-in engine combat & evented animations. The Real Time Combat is quite the change of pace from turn based RPG MAKER based games. However combat has always played second fiddle to exploration & characters with deep story. Now go fetch these orbs & track down that evil doer before the world comes to a sudden end! (WARNING READ ONLY) IF INTO DEPRESSING REALITY & WHAT GOES THROUGH MY MIND! But how much depth does collecting 4 orbs to "save the world & defeat the bad evil doer" have? What approach could even be possibly taken to try & refresh a formula older than even myself. Well, building the ground work was the easy part, & completing it is another hurdle all together. With half finished questlines, dev rooms sitting there unfinished, & dungeons that require work. I'm left pondering, was this really a game I created for the sole purpose of being sold on steam, or was it some kind of way of getting a little control back into life from reality of being a shut-in. Creativity only goes so far, exploration & average NPCs that simply serve their simple function, doesn't seem to get you quite there to the nostalgic levels of being thrusted in a Fantasy World as you once had way back as a kid playing all those 2D RPGs for the very first time, what is left. Two & half years with a good bit of content to offer yet feel it lacking as a void to be completed. The drive of wanting to make money undermines the whole passion of wanting to game dev... Just trying to market has torn me away from wanting to make all the additional content I want. I don't know just ramblings of a dev who feels overly attached with 1st game world to move on. To be or not to be … Character Customisation Configure the skill setups of your actors whenever you like! Choose between a large number of powerful skills and find the perfect setup against the enemy combinations you encounter. Take advantage of skill synergies in order to defeat even the hardest bosses! LV99: Final Fortress

Venture straight into the final dungeon of this heroic journey, Lay aside your legendary equipment for even better pieces, Slay bosses and super bosses with versatile skills and mighty finishers! Three Girls, two Gods Maradook and Gorth, evil gods from ancient times, have been sealed away in the Final Fortress. At the eleventh hour before their awakening, three heroines have gathered and arrive at the fortress: Ariel, the chosen one; Billie, a dragon-slaying princess from the north; Celsia, a witch-turned-magician with stellar talent, but no temperament to speak of. Entering the Alpha Dungeon … Analyse — equip — destroy! A number of bosses stand in the way before the heroines can take on an ancient god. 5. This is a simple question. I noticed a few "DLC" packs, tile sets, that I can buy and import into RPG Maker. I also noticed that they, for the most part, seem to be cheaper over on Steam. However I do not have VX Ace on Steam (XP is up in the air since the trial had long since ended). So, if I buy these DLC Packs (I really love the Fantastic Buildings Medieval pack, Medieval IS my thing after all!) on Steam, would I be able to place them into RPG Maker that's not on Steam, but my PC? And vice versa. If you will? Thanks in advance!

    Darkblood Chronicles - Steam

STORY Omaj - Defy Expectations Omaj is a group of individuals that defy expectations by presenting captivating visual stories that open the imagination and inspire critical thinking. Join the retro JRPG revival movement with Darkblood Chronicles, the story about a young woman named Samantha. Her adventure begins with a strange foreboding nightmare, wherein she sees herself atop a guillotine with a hooded man standing above her, axe at the ready. She is startled awake as the axe comes down, but it seems to be just her dad, knocking at her bedroom door. It is early in the morning, though the sky is still as dark as night, and rains pours with ferocity. Sam arrives at school only to find that the power is off and the road back home has mysteriously vanished. Meeting up with an acquaintance of hers, Ethan, they are led around the school by a shadowy figure. They corner the figure, which turns out to be a quiet and mysterious girl named Sin, and realize she was manipulating them into following her all along. What comes next is the culmination of the strange occurrences that happened since the morning's wake. With the flick of her wrist, Sin opens a vortex to the dark realm, dragging Samantha and Ethan with her. In the journey that follows, Sam hopes to learn why she has been dragged into the dark realm, and the mysterious circumstances surrounding a tragedy that occurred two years prior. Unravel the mystery, and face your darkest fears in Darkblood Chronicles. FEATURES • Survival horror RPG, featuring a dark, mature and complex story. • Dialogue choices that determine one of five possible endings. • No random encounters. Explore and solve puzzles at your own convenience. • Active-time battle system reminiscent of old-school JRPGs. • Imbue Samantha with over 40 unique skills to create your own unique play style. • 3 fully fleshed out main characters and over 40 playable support characters. • Over 20 hours of gripping and addictive game play. SCREENSHOTS CREDITS
  8. Hi, I've been developing my RPG Maker VX Ace game for about a year now, and it is live on Steam: PUBLISHED STEAM GAME From the feedback I get, it goes along the lines of a 'a love letter written in crayon'. While I have received a lot of feedback and support from other communities, am finding it difficult to make this game attractive to the RPGM fans.So here I am: looking for advice and potentially volunteers looking to get a credit on a released Steam game.Even if you cannot directly help, would love to hear what you think of the current art-style and happy to discuss why certain artistic choices were made.Where should I go from here? Thanks for your time.

Who to credit for these music tracks?

(This may be the wrong topic to discuss this in, if so, I apologise). I'm using the Steam version of Rpg Maker MV. So, I've imported a few tracks from the folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\RPG Maker MV\dlc\BaseResource\audio\bgm specifically, 03_A_Gentle_Breeze.ogg I don't see any credits file in this folder, and it seems to be something that comes with MV, but just in case, wanted to make sure, is this a file that needs to be credited?
  10. Ok, So for some reason when I got the full version of RPGVX Ace of Steam I now can't get any of the files for it. When I had light I was able to get like the Tile set files to edit but now I can't And I can't add anything like New option to the character generator or anything, does anyone else have this issues?

New demo released Jan 02. Story: A Poet by the name of Cleril has been held in asylum for years due to insanity. He has caused riots in the streets with his words of “truthâ€, tried to bed the mayor’s daughter, and has spoken with the dead. In asylum Cleril finds himself resigned to a pitch black room and four stone cold walls. There is a crack for food reception given to him twice a day. Sometimes he is given meat. And sometimes that meat is not his own. Cleril tried to rid himself of insanity but it did not work. Now his subconscious is tired of his antics and wants “him†gone. Namely the subconscious wants to turn Cleril into a vegetable and remove his consciousness. Doing this may let Cleril be free from asylum and the subconscious is focused on survival; not the whims of some insane Poet. With his Alter Egos (The Stranger, The Jester, and The Bookkeeper) Cleril hopes to control the subconscious. That way he can meditate freely forever within his hallowed black room. Character Bios: Cleril – An insane poet “trapped†in asylum due to his actions of insanity. He often meditates in his Haven but will be thrown into the wide world of his mind. He houses within him Alter Egos which are aspects of his personality magnified. One could consider them split personalities. The Jester – Cleril’s humor x1,000,000. Often plays tricks on Cleril and calls him rather accurate names like “Pleb†or “Flotsam.†Somehow The Jester managed to create an entity of his own (which concerns Cleril as Alter Egos are not meant to have that kind of control or power) named Winston which serves as The Jester’s butler. Winston – A giant teddy bear created by The Jester to serve as a butler. In contrast to The Jester Winston is incredibly professional in his role as butler and will do anything and everything to meet his masters demands. He is not controlled by Cleril whatsoever and has a one-sided relationship with Cleril. The Stranger – He represents what Cleril sees in the mirror. He wears a mask constantly hiding his humanity (although he is an Alter Ego so he’s not really human) and suffers from extreme amounts of Empathy. On one hand he loves Cleril for giving him feelings. On the other he wonders if he should hate Cleril for having given birth to him in the first place. The Bookkeeper – An older Alter Ego inspired by Cleril’s demand to analyze memories and make connections. The Bookkeeper often speaks in simile and knows the mind like the back of his book which he carries with him always. He houses a library of noteworthy memories of Cleril for easy access. Features: 26+ Skills to unlock via Cleril’s skill tree Each Alter Ego has a unique playstyle. The Jester uses Sanity (health) for his skill use and can create a Parody of himself! The Stranger is immune to death (and all buffs/debuffs)! The Bookkeeper can bookmark a turn and reread said turn to return the entire party back to the state it was in during the bookmarked turn. Rewrite your Alter Egos to transform their playstyle! The Jester can become a parody of a random enemy based on the area you are in. The Stranger can become a carbon copy of Cleril (you can then reset Cleril’s skills and have two different Cleril builds at one time). Rich story with optional lore to further flesh out the way Cleril’s mind works. 14. Persona

    The game SHALL go on..

So, my trial of RMVXA expired, so I decided to stay with VX. However, that has changed. I have officially obtained my copy during a steam sale. I shall continue. I have in the meantime added many features to the list of to-do including: Player Houses Upgrading Houses w/ Shop Improved Bread Farming Improved FIshing Better "Spiral Cave".. So far, Monsters in the first area are pretty solid. Difficulty remains until you really get armor, than it becomes child play. Keeping the design of the game on VX, there are 2 monsters in battle at one time, 3 monsters in each area, then an army (groups of 5+ monsters, really challanging) and then the boss. I wanna do spiral cave differently however, since I have big plans for the second area of the game. As for the first, there really isn't much in the way with skills, just introducing the features of the game. Here is a lil' teaser image of my: Steam Library The Game! Windows 8 Well, until next time, seeya!
