  1. Abstract: This is a card battle game. It will consist of characters from many anime and video games. There will be exciting battles and many cards to collect. Genre: Puzzle, Card Battle Game Progression: This progress of the game is roughly 12%, it has a long way to go but I would like some feedback on the general idea of the game. Recruitment: Not recruiting at the moment. So far this is a single man project. Story / Setting / Purpose: The story so far is that there is a disruption in the Space Time Continuum due to your past mentor's experiment. This rip in space and time causes a black hole to act as a portal to send you these powerful cards. There is one major foe who is seeking to obtain these cards and use the power for himself/herself. You must collect these cards and defeat this foe before they complete their goal. Cards: The cards stats are based on their rarity. For example if a card has a rarity of 2, then all of its stats are 20. Atk, Def, Spd...etc. All cards will have different abilities which will make for a great change during battles. Also there are special Trump Cards for every set which have the ability to destroy an opponents card, but to use the ability it takes some charging so plan carefully. Card Total: 280 [so far] Character Bios: There are no real main characters. There will be regular people who have a hold of the cards. Special Guest Characters/Teams: The special guest teams or characters will be those of whom you know. Team Valor, Instinct, and Mystic will play a role in this game. I will eventually hold an art submission contest where I will be using your OC's and turning them into Trump Cards with in the game. If I get an overload of OC's then I may make their own set with the best submissions as Trump Cards and the others as regular cards with rarity levels.
  2. BETA 1.0 This is a NES-like Platformer Shooter similar to Contra. Two brothers are 'kidnapped' to the Game World by The Virus. It asks them to gather data from various games, which would grant it more power. Once the request will be fulfilled, the brothers will be brought back to real world. But what will happen next?   3. Super Hyper Quest 2 The Sequeling Oh yes, it's happening. What's Super Hyper Quest? Well, most people will remember a little game I did where the title screen flashed up "OH MY GOD SHIT'S ON FIRE." Yeah well, that was meant to be the original Super Hyper Quest. What Will This One Be About? I honestly have no idea. I know that's not very reassuring, but keep in mind that with the last one I came up with the idea and the entire game itself in one week. With a game as random as this, it probably is better if I simply wing most of the plot. What Features Will It Have? Since I was in crunch mode for the last one, I had to use default RTP and a few clever design tricks to implement a lot of stuff I wanted. This one will have a lot of features that the last one had, but also stuff that goes outside the default RTP as well, complete with original characters, not so original music, and definitely not original SFX that I rip from other sources, but only for comedic effect. Beyond that, I want the game to switch back and forth between E'rrick and Rick, so you'll get to enjoy the story and interactions from multiple angles. How Long Will It Be? Definitely longer than the last one. After all, I don't have any major restrictions on this one. Why Should I Like It? So you can be one of the cool kids. You want to be cool, right?

    Super Sentai Charsets!

    First post, and I think it's about time! Getting back into creating after a break, I started to think about a new project. I've always been a fan of the Super Sentai (Power Rangers in America) series, and tokusatsu shows of the sort in general. I always thought it would be fun to make a game with Sentai characters! So I looked around for a charset to sort of base a charset design off of, and I was kind of surprised by how little resources there were covering this genre. So, I went ahead and attempted to make some myself. They are based off of Choudenshi Bioman, the 8th installment of the Super Sentai series, debuting in Japan in 1984. Granted, I consider myself a very basic and beginner spriter, but I was pleased that these came out looking as good as they did. I made them all with bits and pieces from the Character generator provided in RPG Maker VX Ace, along with the charset generator from famitsu. Palette swapping was done thru Paint.Net. If anyone wants to use these as a base and edit them, you are more than welcome to! I'm sure fans of the series like myself exist here somewhere! TL/DR: F*** YEAH POWER RANGER CHARSETS!! Enjoy!
  5. Hi, so i'm making a gamble game. Its battle rule is very simple, player & enemy bet money for which slots will be rolled out. Say If i bet $5000 for x2 combo monkey slot & i win. Then i will damage 5000 x 2 (base on what combo i bet) = 10.000 dmg to enemy's money. After 5 turns who has lesser money than another will lose, if one of players get lost all of they money that will make him lose immediately too. Easy huh? Players can use some items for boosting & casting effects too.. So... I'm thinking how to make a smart, tough enemy Do you guy have any ideas - I'm asking about idea not how to script ex: If enemy's money is twice as much as player then it will stop betting & try to remain that difference
