hey all. There is a point in my game where the map shifts from a Light World to a Dark World. The maps are identical, and I would like to find a way to keep the locations of vehicles the same when the maps shift. I know there will be variables, but I don't know how they would work. can anyone help? Thanks!

I have been searching all over the web for these, but couldn't find a single sprite! So, I decided to take it among myself to create them. I am a low level spriter, but I'm not terrible... hopefully! There are four different colors, starting with a mellow color I took from an actual 1945 topdown airplane sprite I found (by Ari Feldman). Not sure if I should credit for a color? Anyways, I hope this becomes useful and someone out there is also looking for dogfighter planes like these. Anyone is free to edit these and use them for non-commercial and commercial use. Hi. If you've seen alot of my other posts.then this is another thing about the game I'm making. These posts generally ask about if certain features of my game would be good or not. On to the actuel topic. So every standard RPG has thier towns that you progress through. Increasing in items and such. Alot of RPG's tend to have Vehicles too. Now my point here is... What if you Vehicle would ask you if you would want to ride your vehicle or enter it? Inside you would have a base of operations, a computer-shopping system, An alchemy/crafting stationand alot of other basic things taht normally you would find in towns. Because... most townsfolk don't need a weapons shop. Its very unnecesary to the regular townsfolk. Anyways this "Base of Operations" ( I'll call it Boo ) would upgrade through specific parts of the game. gaining boat functionalities. Able to traverse rough terrain. Gaining flight postgame and all that. Now the questions are, Is it enjoyable? Is it cool? Is it handy? You can also ask, discuss or give me advice on other possible features there could be. Also I haven't been able to think of any downsides to this which I'd hope to know if someone managed to think of a possible downside.

This is a request made by Vicious in this thread. To make this really easy, I am going to keep the event on the map instead of on a common event. If you want this in a common event, just make sure you add a switch and have the common event set to a parallel process to it. The first thing you want to do is go into the system database and make sure that the airship music is off. Next, make an event and set it to parallel process. Then, make a conditional branch to if the airship is driven. In the else statement, make sure that you stop the music. Click inside the conditional branch and create a new variable called Airship. Create a conditional branch where if the airship is equal to 1. Place the music you want the first airship to have. In the else statement of the airship conditional branch, make another one where if the airship is equal to 2. Place the music you want the second airship to have. The last thing you need to do is make another event. Set the first page to parallel process and the second page to action button. On the second page, make sure the self switch A button is on. On the first page, select the Airship variable and set it to which airship music you want. Then under that, put Self Switch A = ON. And that is how you make it so the airship can change music!

CSCA Vehicle Encounters v1.1 By: Casper Gaming (Casper667) Updated: March 19th, make sure you have the latest version. Introduction This script allows you to have encounters in the boat, ship, and airship. You can change the encounter rate for each and turn off encounters in one vehicle without affecting encounters in another. Each vehicle uses a separate encounter list set by you(example, you can encounter slimes walking around on the map, but not bats. However, on the same map you can encounter bats if you're in the airship but not slimes). Almost every option can be turned on/off with a switch. Features - Toggle on/off random encounters on each of the 3 vehicle types - Customize the encounter rate for each vehicle - Each vehicle can have it's own unique encounter list - Customize the battle backs for each vehicle(Ace Only) Screenshots Not needed. If you encounter an error, try placing this script above your other custom scripts but below the default game scripts.
