Shadowmaster9000 57 Posted January 25, 2013 (edited) This script adds more item categories to your category list (such as seperated armor categories and a category to view all items). You can also change the order that they appear in, their names, which ones you want to show, their help descriptions and how many categories you want viewable on the screen at one time. Since this one alters the original item category list, this also affects the categories that appear when selling items in shops. Originally I was hoping to allow notetagging items for custom categories, but it proved more difficult than I thought it would be, so this is just my alternate solution. Nicke 150 Posted January 25, 2013 Seems like the link is going to another script of yours (PlaytimeInMenu) Should be this one instead right?

flyingswine 0 Posted December 13, 2013 Sorry about necroposting, but how do I add an item to a category that I added?
Shadowmaster9000 57 Posted December 13, 2013 My Item Based Journal script uses most of this script with a newly added category for Quest labeled items. Take a look at the def include? function under the Window_ItemList class will help show you how you can add new categories. http://www.crimson-castle.co.uk/rpgmakerscripts/ItemBasedJournalV2-0.txt If I do ever figure it out later, I might add extra functionality to the expanded item categories script to include the ability to add new categories.
