need Script to start my pokemon fan made game

well hello everybody

a come to this forum maybe some of you can help

 

first a wanan make pokemon game however there is no good tutorial for beginners

well am tired of esentials for rpg maker xp

well in rpg maker vx ace a need folowing

pokemon battle system a have one from  HungrySnake

well its good a have only one problem back view of pokemon are not show even a put it option that it shows and back pictures

 or if you know any better pokemon system

please tell me

a need next script pokemon menu,

a need pokeball catch script or pokemon catch system if there is any

a need pokemon storage script

why probably   a will add more then 650 pokemon

 

if you have these script for rpg maker xp also you can  please give me links

 

tileset and adding pictures is not problem

 if you can help  please tell me

You're going to have to make a script request in the right section and be far more detailed about what you're looking for. Pictures help a lot.

There's pokemon styled scripts in the Complete Scripts section. Please go through the script list and find them there.

If you want to make a Poke'mon game, I think you're better off sticking with RPG Maker XP. There's nothing as robust for Ace as what is seen with the huge collection of Poke'mon targeted scripts on RPG Maker XP.

well after some time checking web a found already these script:

after each level up hp/Mp is restored to full

monster book 2 script is very good why  a make this script in pokedex

here are some screenshoots

first battle is same nothing is changed yet;

next is script that a changed name to pokedex here is how it looks:

instead monster book a changed to pokedex

next is picture when a enter pokedex:

as you can see it say pokedex on begining  a changed that tooo as you can see a encounter some pokemon already when a click on charizard

this shows;

as you can see  there is picture  stats is added by me

if this script can add text here then this will be complete pokedex  script like this:

well this is small  step but still good now a need  to create pokemon system

any pokemon system in color should do it however enemies from  datebase should be added

thats what is am looking

 

also if you know any vx script that works without problems

to catch enemies after you defet them or to catch them

or any good tutorial to make pokemon battle system from scratch

or any good script

 

yeah a know about rpg maker xp esentials  a know about rpg maker xp  a  have them both

but a already started on vx so

If there is a pokemon pack in XP that is working well, it would probably be more effective to just switch over, since you may wait potentially several months to get pokemon scripts you like for ...VX?

 

Btw if you want to "start from zero" it would probably be better to figure out how to script it so you can implement it from scratch.

Try looking for something called Crystal Engine. It's somewhere in this forum, found it before somewhere. I believe it's what you're looking for.

I actually think it would be better to mod the pokemon rom you wish to base your game off of and use tools from the pokemon community forums to make your game.

 

Benefits of modding rom: all graphics included, all moves, all everything

Cons of modding: not many people will play unless its 100% but there are contests to keep you motivated. Scripting might be a problem and things to know like importing new graphics would be complicated.

 

Benefits of rmvc ace pokemon: ability to add graphics easily, more of a game making experience.

Cons: will never look like a full pokenon game. NEED to rip graphics from the rom anyways to add to rmvx ace. Need to type in and set up each new pkmn move and animations.

 

If you want to make a pokemon game on rmvx ace I suggest you make it as sweet and short as you can. Make it a thrilling 30 min game. Short story and ability for replay value. Because I just dont want you to set up for failure. Also know a full pokemon script may never come to rmvx ace. It may but you never know. So sit down and think about what you are willing to not have in your game on completion. All in all it can be the best game ever. Im just adding my opinion.
