Sondai 0 Posted March 13, 2013 I figured this would be a common question but I haven't found a clear answer, or one I'm sure that works with the Ace version. For now I just want to change the current dialog window background color and don't want to create a new image (yet.). All I found so far is this script, and I'm not 100% sure how to use it but can probably work it out.http://galveraxe.wordpress.com/galvs-message-background/ So Is there a way to accomplish changing the window color without scripting or just by adding simple code? Also, should I elect to create an image should I use the above script or just replace the default image file ... though I"m not sure what/where that is? Thanks
Galv 1,387 Posted March 13, 2013 If you are just wanting to change the window colour, go into your database and the "System" tab there is "Window Colour"... you can change it there. That script was made to easily use an image instead of a windowskin. Or do you just want to change the window colour of the "Show Message" window boxes only? Sondai 0 Posted March 13, 2013 (edited) Hi Galv -- I just want to change the color of the "Show Messages" I think -- for any dialog and pop-up messages though ultimately I'd like to have it more transparent and recessed with a colored border. I'm not sure now what the window color function is now so maybe I used the wrong terminology. I'll take a look at that too. P.S. Thanks for making the script by the way and sharing it. I'm trying to keep things simple now but look forward to using it, later. Edited March 13, 2013 by Sondai

Galv 1,387 Posted March 13, 2013 Please don't double post within 72 hours - use the edit link instead (located next to the quote button of your post). The window colour change in the database changes it for all windows (including menus) - is that what you were after? As for the different border, etc. you could create a custom windowskin or maybe request one in resource request.
